ACSI FOUNDATION 2015 VISION CASTING FOR THE FUTURE OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION INCLUDED BIO-LOGOS PRESIDENT- MERGING CREATION AND EVOLUTION ERROR.

ASSEMBLING A PANEL OF CHRISTIAN “EXPERTS” HAVING “NO ASSOCIATION WITH ACSI” THE ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION SET OUT TO MEET THE “FORMIDABLE CHALLENGES FACING CHRISTIAN EDUCATION”. AMONG THIS “BRAIN TRUST” WERE LEADERS OF SOME OF THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL AND DAMNING INFLUENCES TO HAVE INFILTRATED THE CONSERVATIVE BIBLICAL REALM IN RECENT DECADES. THE IMPACT OF THIS INFILTRATION ON ACSI, CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS AND CURRICULUM IS NOW BECOMING MORE CLEAR THAN EVER AND IS MOST OFTEN DRIVEN BY OUTSIDE FUNDING. THE OVERWHELMING DEGREE OF AND LONG GAME ENFOLDING OF THESE CORRUPTING INFLUENCES WILL LIKLEY MAKE THE DAMAGE IRREVERSIBLE.

Recently ACSI President posted social media links to offer a “preview ” of upcoming 2024-2025 ACSI Purposeful Design Publications curriculum and and also CE /Continuing Education Credit opportunities for teachers in Christian Education. The preview concept sounds very helpful. So it should ALSO BE hepful to “preview the preview” to see what influences have been and are shaping the changing vision of ACSI. Already ACSI has chosen to partner with radical racial CRT and Black Liberation Theology and LGBTQ Inclusion activist from The Gospel Coalition and the rapidly sinking Southern Baptist “WOKE justice” seminaries like SBTS and SEBTS. Now even deeper roots of compromise with progressive political strategist at Barna and the Theistic Evolution advocates at BioLogos promoting “old earth ” and seeking to undermine Genesis 1-11 prove to have been in the ACSI braintrust since at least 2015.

Larry Taylor ACSI reposted

“Preview what is coming this fall from Purposeful Design Publications! This is a great time to start previewing for the 2024-2025 adoption cycle.”

Keep in mind that the organization is also involved in a project called “MINDSHIFT”-

So Christian parents have a responsibility and a right to know what is shifting and why. Who is brining their influence to bear on ACSI in this new vision which no doubt seeks to appease and appeal to global foundations who seek to make global citizens of our children.

BE WARNED – Neither the church nor Christin educations task is to build and indoctrinate global citizens who are serving “global goals” but to birth and disciple the redeemed who have their “citizenship in heaven”. … Phillipians 3: 20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.”

“MindShift: Catalyzing Change in Christian Education”

“Research demonstrates that Christian education has a positive impact on student outcomes like purpose-driven career choices, community-mindedness, and stronger religious affiliation and practice. And Christian school teachers and leaders know from their own experiences that Christian education does, indeed, make a difference. Yet with Christian schools around the world facing significant threats to sustainability and relevance, thriving into the future will require framing the challenges we face as opportunities.”…

“To this end, 60 leading educators journeyed together for two years through a MindShift, a transformational process of dialogue and exploration pioneered by futurist Rex Miller. Complete with case stories and reflection questions, this book shares insights on how schools can provide a deeper and more authentic Christian education, share stories of love and hope with their neighbors, and catalyze the growth of the church and the Kingdom.”

THE 2015 ACSI VISION GOALS THOUGHT LEADERS

“In 2006, the ACSI Education Foundation launched its mission to secure, manage, and distribute private support to promote the strategic growth, influence, and effectiveness of Christian schooling worldwide. At the request of ACSI’s senior leadership, the Foundation’s board unanimously agreed to take on the daunting task of providing visionary, innovative, research-informed leadership for global Christian schools and educators.”
“As a program- and service-providing association, ACSI struggles to keep pace with the visionary thought leadership necessary to empower Christian schools and educators to flourish in the midst of formidable challenges, both today and tomorrow. This candid assessment engenders many questions. If the Foundation is to launch a “thought leadership” focus to guide both ACSI and the larger Christian schooling movement, it must begin by identifying complementary activities occurring throughout the Kingdom so that redundancies are reduced and collaborations maximized.”

“The First Step”
“In February 2015, the Foundation took a strategic first step by convening a carefully selected group of experts, not affiliated with ACSI, who care and think deeply about the
education of the next generation. Their task was to assist in identifying the problems facing the Christian schooling movement in general and ACSI in particular. We wanted
perspective and candid feedback from scholars, cultural critics, and Christian school leaders who are thoughtfully engaged with the challenge of living faithfully in a highly
secularized culture.”

“Prior to convening, individual panel members answered the following questions, and their responses were collated and organized thematically. Panel responses provided rich feedback to launch the group conversation.”

  1. When you consider the responsibility of educating
and mentoring the next generation of Christ followers
to think and act with the mind of Christ, what questions or concerns keep you up at night?
  2. When you think of the future of effective Christian
schooling in North America and globally, what barriers need to be surmounted and opportunities seized?
  3. In your estimation, what are the top three issues facing Christian schools today?
  4. What areas of particular interest do you care passionately about, and how might they relate to the issues
    being discussed?
  5. As an association serving schools from a wide spectrum of theological perspectives, what is ACSI’s most
    important role?
  6. What are the major societal issues facing ChristiaN families today?

The discussion began with the foundational question, “What is the purpose of Christian schooling?” This grounded the larger conversation in the consensus that
education should glorify God by providing opportunity “to learn to see God’s creation and His glory and to take that as salt and light into the world.” Over the next two days,
rigorous dialogue developed around what is and is not negotiable for Christian schooling in the 21st century, the role of the Christian school within a post-Christian culture
(where a shrinking percentage of families are committed to passing down faith), the call for Christians to be a faithful presence in the world, the need for innovative funding
models and practices to the solve the financial conundrum facing schools, and the challenge of effectively nurturing the love of God in students in this fast-paced digital age.”

ACSI INCLUDED THE EVER MORE WEARISOME EFFORT TO PROVIDE A “CHRISTIAN TED TALK ” FORUM. WHY WOULD CHRISTIAN EDUCATORS NOT UNDERSTAND THE DIALETICAL PROCESS INVOVLED IN THE TED TALKS STYLE MODEL?

ACSI TED TALK “STYLE TALKS” AND PARTICIPANTS
“In addition to engaging in full-group discussions, the
following participants presented “TED-style talks” to
their colleagues.

  • Deborah Haarsma, PhD, president of The BioLogos
Foundation, shared personal reflection on Christian
    education and the sciences.
  • Robin Hom, JD, superintendent of California
Crosspoint High School (formerly Chinese Christian
High School), presented a talk on affordability and
    accessibility to Christian schooling.
  • David Kinnaman, president of the Barna Group,
discussed the implication to Christian schooling of the
research that informed his book You Lost Me”

ACSI OUTCOMES AND TAKE AWAY

“Moving Forward”
“How do we channel this amazingly generative interaction into concrete recommendations to inform the Foundation’s strategic planning process? Panel members were divided into four “consulting groups” tasked with identifying and presenting their top three to five priorities for ACSI and the Foundation to embrace. While each group reflected the personality and expertise of its members, common threads emerged.”

“Accreditation: Establish a Nondualistic Definition of Excellence

  • Significantly increase accredited schools in membership.
  • Define spiritual formation and academic excellence.
  • Define what needs to be accredited and how it affects excellence.
  • Move accreditation beyond a compliance mode. Move toward a conceptual framework that promotes shared understanding of
    nondualistic commitments to excellence

Professional Development

  • Provide thought leadership on biblical worldview and biblical integration training; dig deeper!
  • Invest in systemic, sustainable teacher training and support via stronger partnerships between K–12 and higher education.
  • STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math): strengthen content, pedagogy, etc.
  • Archive faculty development best practices.
  • Develop effective strategies and tools to help teachers grow and help schools become learning communities (not check-thebox routines).
  • Develop best-practice models for STEM, spiritual formation, and pedagogy.
  • Replace networking and community lost with transition from the convention model.
  • Develop STEM model programs; provide leadership and training per the Cardus and Barna research projects.

Partnerships and Collaboration

  • Maintain dialogue with other private school streams (partnerships) for stronger voice in the marketplace and civic arena.
    Aggregate for greater impact.
  • Collaborate and partner for best practices, creating a repository.
  • Collaborate with higher education (bridge the gap between K–12 and higher education).
  • Strengthen ACSI’s role as a convener rather than a container. Connect educators to centers of thought.
  • Convene ongoing high-level strategic conversations integrating research and expert input for more effective strategies.
    Innovation/Research/Advocacy
  • Research and cultivate accessibility and affordability options for schools and identify models.
  • Research and develop discipleship models that target small groups and one-on-one mentorship. What does it look like in a
digital world? How do we get away from mass-discipleship models?
  • Provide concrete and timely guidance on emerging education/social issues facing schools.
  • Advocate for Christian schooling: government, civic organizations, churches, and faith-based organizations. Act as a bridge
between government agencies and the public. Address issues and challenges that schools cannot take on individually.
  • Create a national conversation around Christian education, building a case for the value of Christian schooling.”

“These “consultant recommendations” are a distillation of over eight hours of invigorating dialogue around issues of great import. Nearly 200 pages of transcript document the entire conversation, informing recommendations for
the next step. At their February 2015 meeting, the Foundation board of directors tasked ACSI’s senior staff to sift through the information—individually and corporately—
and identify priorities for both ACSI and the Foundation. This conversation has already informed ACSI’s strategic initiatives, launched research, strengthened higher
education relationships, and birthed partnerships. It also provides direction to the Foundation’s strategic plan, and a case for support to fulfill its transformational mission.
We are grateful for our esteemed panelists. The group overwhelmingly agreed that ACSI and the Foundation must continue the conversation “for such a time as this.”

A LOOK AT JUST THREE OF THE PROBLEMATIC THOUGHT LEADERS INCLUDING THE HORRIFIC INFLUENCE OF BIO-LOGOS AND THEISTIC EVOLUTION DECEPTIONS SEEKING TO UNDERMINE GENESIS 1-11 .

ACSE BRAINTRUST MEMBER AND FAKE TED TALK PRESENTER -WITH DISGRACED NIH HEAD AND BIO LOGOS BOSS FRANCIS COLLINS PROMOTING THEISTIC EVOLUTION.

Deborah Haarsma, PhD, President, BioLogos

“BioLogos was founded by one of the top biologists in the world, Francis Collins. He led the Human Genome Project and now directs the National Institutes of Health. In 2006, he wrote the best-selling book The Language of God in which he tells his journey from atheism to Christian belief, showing that science is not in conflict with the Bible, but actually enhances faith. The outpouring of response to the book showed the need for virtual and actual meeting places to ask questions, discuss issues, and learn from the top Christian minds in the sciences and theology.”

( NOTE BIO-LOGOS WAS FOUNDED BY NOW DISGRACED FRANCIS COLLINS FORMER HEAD OF NIH. RECALL COLLINS AND ANTHONY FAUCI PARTNERED IN THE FUNDING OF THE WUHAN LAB AND THE COVID OUTBREAK . THESE EVENTS ABOUT WHICH BOTH PARTIES WERE PUBLICALLY EXPOSED AS HAVING LIED IS DOCUMENTED IN THEIR EMAILS AND THE USE OF BURNER PHONES. SADLY THEIR EXPOSURE TOOK PLACE ONLY AFTER THEY LED AND ORGANIZED THE GLOBAL “RESPONSE” TO THE WUHAN VIRUS. THEIR DECEPTIONs AND DIRECTIVES CONTINUE TO NEGATIVELY IMPACT HEALTHCARE, THE GLOBAL ECONOMY, AND POLITICS AND RIPPLE THROUGHOUT THE GLOBE. COLLINS HAS SINCE RESIGNED THE NIH. ALSO NOTE THAT RECENTLY DECEASED EVANGELICAL LEADER AND FRANKFURT SCHOOL DISCIPLE TIM KELLER PLAYED A KEY ROLE IN THE LAUNCH , PROMOTION AND GROWTH OF BIO-LOGOS. )

Francis Collins holding the & sign in the “merger efforts” of Bio-Logos

THE BIO-LOGOS AND THEISTIC EVOLUTION ERROR IS CAUSING A MASSIVE IMPACT IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AND IN THE CHURCH AS IT RESULTS IN THE SUPPOSED VALIDATION OF INJECTING EVOLUTION AND “OLD EARTH “THEORIES INTO GENESIS 1-11 UNDERMINING THE FAITH OF THOUSANDS IN THE RELIABILITY OF THE GENESIS CREATION ACCOUNT AND THE BIBLICAL TIMELINE OF THE EARTH AND HUMAN HISTORY.

Bio-Logos error is HUGE AND GROWING. More here:

DAVID KINNAMAN WHO NOW HEADS BARNA RESEARCH GROUP IS PART OF THE ACSI BRAINTRUST ASSEMBLED IN 2015.

David Kinnama is fast becoming a notorius infiltrator after gaining the trust of Christian conservatives because of Barnas long history of providing reliable research.

Kinnaman’s research is increasingly more driven to promote progressive political views like his involvement with Tim Keller and Gabe Lyons in the “Good Faith” book and project which resulted in a 2012 meeting of the above parties at the White House with then newly re-elected President Obama. In this meeting promises to move the evangelical community into fuller cooperation with the Obama administration during its second term were made. This second term was one of the most damaging to faith -family – American Christian foundations than any before it. Kinnaman continues his alliances and progressive political rhetoricwhich remains very effective because it is “disguised as research”.

AWANA- David Kinnaman and Barna Group played a key role in the SIMILAR “new vision” of AWANA children’s ministriy which impacts children directly in church and home discipleship.

ACSI INCLUDED BRIARWOOD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT IN ITS BRAINTRUST IN 2015 – BY 2019 BRIARWOOD SCHOOL WAS FULLY INDOCTRINATING THEIR FACULTY AND STUDENT IN WOKE JUSTICE RACIAL POLICY.

“Barrett Mosbacker, EdD, Superintendent, Briarwood
Christian School.”

From April 2019 Briarwood Christian School Spring Faculity trainin:

“Briarwood Christian School”
Tuesday Topic: BCS Faculty Dialogue — The Gospel & Social Justice
April 16, 2019

“In-Service Overview: On Friday, April 12th, while our students were
away from school, our faculty gathered for a day of professional
conversation on issues of racial reconciliation and social justice. To begin
the day, high school Bible teacher Mr. David Conrad shared what the Lord
had been teaching him through scripture, books, and classroom
conversations on “The Gospel and Social Justice.” Our junior high teacher
and coach, Mr. Paul Smith, then spoke on “Historical and Contemporary
Injustice” and shared his own family’s experience as well as those of students
and families he interviewed regarding this topic. One of our senior
students, Miss Gabbi Johnson, came on her day off to speak about her
K4-12th grade experience as a minority student at Briarwood. Finally, our
Superintendent, Mr. Stephen Steiner, spoke of his deep hope for Briarwood
and issues of social justice moving forward, particularly his desire to see our
school embrace a gospel-centric approach to social restorative justice in our
own city. Our hearts were stirred by each speaker’s message and we are
grateful for their transparency, humility, and deep desire for God to be
glorified through our school’s response to the tender issues of minority
experiences, racial reconciliation, and the call for believers to pursue
righteousness and justice. We are so thankful for their leadership and the
time to thoughtfully begin this very important conversation as faculty.”

“Our morning session was followed by a faculty field trip to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute is the centerpiece of the National Park Service’s Birmingham Civil Rights National Monument which includes a four-block, multi-site experience. Our tour was led by our own Gabbi Johnson, one of several BCS students participating in the BCRI’s Legacy Youth Leadership program (A BCRI
staff member shared with the faculty that she is among the most dedicated and passionate of the student docents!). We followed our tour with a late lunch at the Pizitz Food Hall where we were able to discuss all that we had learned throughout the day”

BRIARWOOD CHURCH AND SCHOOL/ THE PCA MOVEMENT AND THE GOSPEL COALITION.

Under then Pastor Harry Reeder Briarwood Church , the conservative PCA flagship church came under the damning influence of The Gospel Coalition and the progressive movement to undermine the PCA by Tim Keller. Reeder served on the TGC leadership Council for around 15 years before his death in 2023. Briarwood Christian School operates under the Church authority and has in recent years undergone multiple scandals in the press including the 2019 WOKE agenda and a more recent scandal caused by the deceptive practices by pastoral staff and faculty related to the school leadership changes.

Harry Reeder was killed in an automobile accident the day before he was to answer in his local Evangel Presbytery for over 60 charges of ABUSE of POWER.

Brairwood Church and School remain in serious trouble and decline and no effort has been made thus far to reconcile past error or set the church , school and its many other ministries BACK on a Biblical course.

CONCLUSION ON ACSI VISION CASTING IN 2015

ACSI shows who it is placing value and reliance on for its future and that of Christian Education . By quietly opening the door from the inside where trusting Christian familes and CHILDREN live and learn and worship- to those chosen to be a part of this braintrust ,ACSI is providing a massive inside preview which they likely never intended for significant public consumption . JUST the three members reviewed in this brief look are reason enough for Christian parents or educators to grasp the coordinated error. ACSI looks to have sold the farm in or before 2015.

Progressive Social/Theological / Political jargon remains just as damaging no matter how layered and disguised or how heavily funded it has become.

The Gospel is contrary to all these failed ideologies and does not need to be “Revisioned/ Revoiced/ Reimagined ….or Recast ! It is “The Everlasting Gospel “. Revelations 14:6
