Many Conservative baptist were shocked and disappointed to see Charlie Kirk platformed at the Conservative Baptist Network (CBN) event at the annual Southern Baptist Convention in Anaheim CA this June. The series of events included such “luminaries” as John MacArthur,Voddie Baucham , and Founders President Tom Ascol just prior to his failed bid for the Southern Baptist Presidency.
It is not YET known who invited Kirk to speak but the CBN movement was no doubt tainted by the Kirk appearance and its efforts to move into positions of power in the leftward descending Baptist movement failed throughout the Convention and conservative Baptist emerged confused and disoriented by a radically pro LGBTQ Libertarian political operative being chosen to speak to Conservative Baptist Pastors.
As TPUSA Kirk spoke to Baptist pastors TPUSA announced word of TPUSA Faith 1st ever Pastors Summit.
THE TIMING HERE IS OVERT AND OBVIOUS- THE DECEPTION-NOT SO MUCH
TPUSA- Faith set up its social media pages between May 22nd and May 26th 2022 .(Prior to this launch TPUSA Faith was appearing as a # hashtag on social media as the movement gathered steam among churches as far back as August 2021 ) Turning Point USA Faith went from a branding trial to a full blown launch in May. Monkeypox is is dreadful disease. It is frightening to look at and has seen a sudden surge in cases worldwide. But this PANDEMIC has a public relations problem. Just as the GLOBAL top down LGBTQ celebration of PRIDE MONTH hit new heights of mainstreaming in 2022 with the help of the Biden administration and European leaders- the hard health realities associated with the LGBTQ community have come back to haunt it ..AGAIN. And the first response is to recruit “Faith Community Leaders” to “fix the stigma “.
“Join Religions for Peace and the World Health Organisation (WHO) to learn about the Monkeypox outbreak, be informed and discuss what can faith actors and communities do to help those who need support.”
CDC recommends vaccination for people who have been exposed to monkeypox and people who are at higher risk of being exposed to monkeypox.
If you have any symptoms of monkeypox, talk to your healthcare provider, even if you don’t think you had contact with someone who has monkeypox.
CDC is urging healthcare providers in the United States to be alert for patients who have rash illnesses consistent with monkeypox.

DONT SHAME JUST PICK UP THE PIECES OF THE GLOBAL INSANITY OF NORMALIZATION.
“We really need to be sure that we don’t unintentionally stereotype, stigmatize, blame or shame, any of these communities,” Seale said of those dealing with monkeypox. “If someone discloses that they’ve had monkeypox, I think we need to be careful that we react without being judgmental, or making any assumptions about how they may have become infected.”
“Just as houses of worship have distributed food during the COVID-19 pandemic, he said, similar assistance may be needed, for example, by zero-hour contract workers who are not guaranteed any pay during isolation or others affected by cost-of-living increases.”

Rick Warren and other Evangelical leaders have long worked with WHO and Global Health Initiative partners to “Address HIV/AIDS and other politicized global health topics. BUT THIS HAS CREATED TROUBLE IN PARADISE for gospel centered response to such suffering . NOW faith leaders as seen as the most effective tools for propaganda .
EVANGELICALS WERE USED IN THE PROPAGANDA SURROUNDING HIV/AIDS AS WELL AS THE COVID PANDEMIC RESPONSE AND VAX
A disturbing collaboration continues to develop between evangelical leaders and the propagandist at WHO.
CONCLUSION
Global Health is in crisis- not because of pandemics alone but by the hyped global goals politics behind them. Christians who have always historically led out in compassion ministry coupled with the eternal hope of the Gospel, building hospitals and offering first world care to the third world and those in need -are now shackled with the narratives and prevented from treating real problems with real medicine and the greater hope of repentance and faith which only the “Good News” of Jesus can bring.
MAKE NO MISTAKE – the church does need to minister to the suffering and be willing to offer compassion and but must BE ABLE TO speak truth of the Gospel and, as with other sins, to call for repentance. This is both a spiritual and a healthcare reality.
BUT faith leaders like Rick Warren and many others partnerships with WHO/GHI – the United Nations , and government agencies at home and abroad – have dismantled it’s ability to speak truth- offer real help .
Fear mongering and politically angeled propaganda around Monkeypox in many ways look to be nothing more than a push for another GLOBAL JAB CAMPAIGN while protecting the new protected , highly promoted -LGBTQ class from backlash and stigma.
Evangelical Elite who run with WHO/ NIH/ WEF/ the UN / CFR are taking the church and the saints into an abyss of globalization, promoting world governance, the Great Reset , Digital Identity, and Digital Currency. BUT FIRST they are stopping off to aid in the collapse of global healthcare and Christian ministry into the horrific black hole of politically driven propaganda which only ADDS TO HUMAN SUFFERING and can and will likely result in the deaths of millions.

The last five years have provided shocking revelations of change in global culture, national identity, and human existence. Change is in the air BECAUSE change- social change is the business of Critical Theories and the normal -well paying employment of change agents. What the world is losing by a willingness to embrace the tools of the trade for social change is something it will not easily regain . And the church ,who seems well contented to go along for the ride, is losing something far far more precious …it’s grasp on the eternal nature of its calling and transformational hope only the Gospel has to offer as HOPE FOR A LOST WORLD and a tried and true alternative.
For those in the culture who are part of the growing hatred and contempt for Christians and the Church- the blame rest not only on normal demonic hostility but also lies with a compromised generation of church leaders who have aided and abetted the deception of the church with the same errors deconstructing the culture .
The WORLD has the RIGHT to HATE the CHURCH which DISPLAYS NO DISTINCTION FROM IT. Lost people rightly know that such a Church has betrayed it -as it has betrayed itself and its GOD.
CRITICAL THEORY VS CONSPIRACY THEORY
Talk is cheap and never more so than it is today. Critical Theories are the sounds which resonate from Marx and Darwin and Freud and the Frankfurt School thinkers down through the “hallowed halls” of academia and into the public sphere. Once saturated, public discourse can no longer thrive and free speech is simply a relic of the past. BUT far worse is that free thinking is also evaporated in the process and such ideals have vanished from those places they once flourished and were celebrated. ANYONE WHO DARES to indulge such outdated actions as critical thinking and “reaching one’s own conclusions is simply labeled a “CONSPIRACY THEORIST ” and a danger and a threat.
Christians have always suffered at the hands false accusation from when Jesus miracles and teaching made rumors abound in New Testament times -to their being accused by Nero of setting fire to Rome, to today as the Biden administration blames Christians who supported Donald Trump of “Issurection ” on January 6th 2021. But the damning accusation against many believers and their leaders is that they are no longer part of the accused but have become co-conspirators in the narrative.And some actually ARE THE ACCUSER of the brethren who commit to the Gospel instead of the narrative.

WHAT IS CRITICAL RACE THEORY?

Since its inception within legal scholarship CRT has spread to many disciplines. CRT has basic tenets that guide its framework. These tenets are interdisciplinary and can be approached from different branches of learning.”

CRITICAL THEORY AND THE CHURCH –LOVE POTION NUMBER NINE?
In 2019 even the once socially, morally and biblical conservative movement of the Southern Baptist Convention bought into Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality by adopting a Resolution (number 9) “affirming ” these tools of the trade from Cultural Marxist Change Agents as “useful analytical tools along with the Gospel. Baptist Messengers voted IN the Resolution not really even fully knowing what these terms mean or how and why they were being added to the Gospel for Southern Baptist.
The Resolution had originally condemned these tools but was ALTERED BY THE RESOLUTION COMMITTEE TO affirm them – after they had been in use WHOLESALE in Baptist and other conservative institution/universities /seminaries and missions organizations for over a decade. The altered /affirming Resolution 9 just brought Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality into the RETAIL spaces of Baptist life. In fact Southern Baptist leadership had been priming the movement for CRT for some time .

The Gospel and these systems cannot mingle.They have opposite origins and opposed outcomes and they run along parallel lines in opposite directions.

The Southern Baptist Convention ended it’s June 2022 annual meetings skillfully and deceptively placed UNDER the grip of pro LGBTQ /Diversity Equity and Inclusion reforms via a 5 year long push for “Justice ” in the #ChurchToo sex abuse scandals. The twisted road that brought Baptist to the brink also included the take of of its seminaries with years of Critical Race Theory and “Revoicing ” of the Gospel with Gender, Feminine and Queer Theories. It seemed to some that the only hope for the future of Southern Baptist lay with the reconstituted “Conservative Resurgence ” (of the late 70s) and opposition to the “leftward drift” in the Convention by a group calling itself- the Conservative Baptist Network. But can men who have spent their entire lives and ministries living under the 11th Commandment (the silent gentlemen’s agreement of the good ole boy network) and the grand idea that theological associations beget loyalty (no matter what )-actually have the prophetic determination required to confront pure evil in the midst?
SOME NEEDED HISTORY -A REMINDER
NOTE: No matter what you think or believe theologically related to Calvin , his Institutes or the Westminster Confession -the Neo-Calvinist movement and groups mentioned below like TGC simply use them as theological cover for a theologically emergent -socially progressive (social change) and totally politically driven movement. Movements like Founders Ministries inability to honestly identify- publically call out -renounce and break ties with all such compromised Calvinist leaders has set up Founders and its currently allied CBN to follow those same leaders into the abyss of “big gay” compromise as displayed at the CBN meetings in Anaheim and in the appearance of highly regarded Founders affiliate with a “big gay” funder at NatCon 22. Founders and CBN will not rebuke Mohler or others like him because .in their thinking, he is still one of their own.
THE REAL “FAULT LINES” OF THE CBN EFFORT RUN DEEP
Conservatives in the SBC Resurgence had already suffered an early invasion by the Calvinist /Reformed theological efforts of a group called The Founders Ministries seeking to “turn Baptist back “to their “Calvinist roots”. For a few years Founders leadership made nice in order to be a part of the Conservative Resurgence but soon turned on its leaders who were not Reformed -calling them “theological liberals ” for not embracing Calvinism. These divisive issues remain unsettled as Founders spread its influence by recruiting graduating seminary students through direct mailing and promoting it’s books and doctrines to “up and coming” pastors. THE RESULTS was SPLITTING CHURCHES and setting the SBCs evangelism, baptisms, and missions in steep decline. If easy believism had been bad,which it was, “Calvinizing” the SBC was much worse. The fruit ,using the word in the negative sense, of this effort was horrific and its impact on the Christians and churches and pastors in the SBC immeasurable. Worst of all is that the efforts of Founders created the space and platform for organizations like The Gospel Coalition inside and overlapping with the Baptist life on a grand scale.
FOUNDERS MINISTRIES AND THE GOSPEL COALITION
For over a decade TGC has “enjoyed” unlimited and unquestioned access to and influence on Baptist churches brining its emergent cloud of error like a demonic death angel over pastors and pulpits. Founders long history and close ties, which remain active today with long time TGC leaders like Albert Mohler, prove these deadly doctrines remain unpurged though not at all hidden at this stage in the decline.
Most people in the non -Calvinist resurgence know this extremely divisive history well but look to have forgotten it when inviting Founder’s leaders in to the reconstituted movement called the “Conservative Baptist Network “.
THE CALVINIST MOVEMENT WAS SOON FOLLOWED BY A BROADER NEO-CALVINIST MOVEMENT AND IT’S EMERGING FALSE SOCIAL GOSPEL OF “HUMAN FLOURISHING “
The Gospel Coalition which is now on an overtly HARD leftward trajectory was begun in 2006 by Presbyterian (conservative PCA) Tim Keller but found space for expansion into the Baptist thanks to the foundation laid there by Founders Reformed base. The TGC poison spread rapidly into the Southern Baptist Seminaries via dingy justice driven grant money and leadership of Founder’s affiliates like Dr Albert Mohler of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. By 2010 both Keller and Mohler and their organizations /institutions were showing the tale tale signs of the compromise on issues including homosexuality. In just a few short years the damage would become apparent to even casual observers with little theological background or need for it -in order to spot the players and long game efforts of social change among Calvinist adherents of the PCA and SBC.
2022 THE SELL OUT BECAME COMPLETE.
Going INTO the 2022 Annual SBC meetings CBN affirmed the “going soft on LGBTQ” and embracing Critical Theories were sure signs of the SBCs leftward drift:

What is going on with the Southern Baptist Convention?

What is the solution?

CBNs BIG FAIL !
Conservative Baptist Network celebrated its own infrastructure built across these dangerous fault lines by running the Founders leader Tom Ascol as its candidate for SBC President. This is the same organization which years earlier had turned on resurgence conservatives for not being “Calvinist ” conservatives – again calling them “theological liberals”.

Fox News and other faltering -failing – and declining “Conservative ” voices in America have been using young libertarians pushing “free markets” and Hayek to steadily replace and redefine the Conservative voice in America for years. Christian organizations have been doing the same thing in biblical Christian public discourse. This is a DOOMED EFFORT no matter how well intentioned it may be on the part of some who follow it.
Libertarians do not care about social and moral issues. They care about budgets and smaller government while ignoring the VAST and growing cost of government intervention via “social programs ” in supposed response to the social and moral ills Libertarians think can be ignored in favor of their limited agenda. It is a circular and empty centrist position which is totally unsustainable -especially in these dark days of cultural demolition.

The Southern Baptist Convention is also a movement in massive and rapid decline .The SBC once boasted 16 million members in its 47,000 plus churches and missions organizations reaching across America and the World. But the SBC, it’s seminaries and missions arms NAMB and IMB have been on the WOKE Wagon for over a decade. Baptist leaders tied the denomination into the tangled rats nest of Faith Based Partnerships with government funding and oversight . Covid 19 Response and Vaccine mandates and “Refugee Crisis” and resettlement have made this issue even more problematic .
The SBC whose Lifeway Research just admitted that Covid lockdowns and fears have taken its active attendance down from @5.2 million to a new low of 3.6 million actual active attendance on an average Sunday morning in Baptist church services. Church “Planting ” strategies have failed to reverse such trends as the SBC is now firmly in the grips of the #MeToo movement. The Baptist #MeToo movement since 2018 is using sex abuse victims to advance the flood of the feminist/LGBTQ/ Racial activist of BLM and more into the national spotlight and onto the modern Diversity Equity and Inclusion / Justice agenda.
The SBC emerged from it’s 2022 annual meetings in Anaheim California set to implement “Reforms” which will forever alter the Biblical Stance on faith, family, gender roles, sexual standards inside its churches and institutions according to the global DE&I metrics. With little hope of survival after the #MeToo activist are done with it- the SBC saw a new group formed called the Conservative Baptist Network. Charlie Kirk, founder and president of Turning Point USA and widely-known conservative voice within culture, received a warm welcome from attendees as he took the stage to encourage pastors to remain vigilant.
“We need to focus on the most important thing we can do–spreading the gospel and winning people for Jesus Christ,” Kirk said. “We need more pastors right now that are willing to stand up against the world and for the Word. We’re here to fight for truth and righteousness.”
Kirk described three types of churches and three types of pastors found in American pulpits today–the courageous pastor, the cowardly pastor, and the complicit pastor.
“Don’t be passive in a time when you need to be bold,” Kirk said. “Be willing to stand behind the pulpit and preach the truth. If you don’t believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, you are going to begin to entertain all of these crazy ideas. Make no mistake, the threat ahead of us is a real threat…courage and boldness will be rewarded.
“Who better positioned than the church to crush a movement that is founded on lies?” Kirk asked. “Who better than us as Christians who have the truth to stand up against this predatory movement? Who better than the church?”
CONCLUSION
Standing for smaller government and less spending while ignoring actual human cost and intentional deconstruction of social and cultural moorings and institutions is neither Conservative nor Christian.
How did some of the most outspoken -anti-WOKE voices in the remaining Baptist world escape this reality?
Just as pro feminist- LGBTQ & racial BLM supporting radicals hired to implode their movement stand at the door to be voted in -to “REFORM” THE SBC with CRT and Intersectionality -Driven -Diversity Equity and Inclusion…. CBN/Baptist leaders are playing footsies with and hosting a key player whose voice is undermining their own Biblical stance and HOPE of preserving their movement.
Perhaps pragmatic leaders thought that by inviting this young talking head Charlie Kirk they could broaden their appeal to younger Baptist . Perhaps it is much in the same way they were playing to the older crowds while inviting one of the most embattled pastors in America over covering up Sex Abuse in his church and ministry ( Californian and non Baptist John MacArthur ) while the SBC annual meeting was focused on dealing with THIS VERY ISSUE.
CBN LEADERS NOT ONLY IS KIRK NOT A CONSERVATIVE- HE IS NOT A BAPTIST AND NOT A PASTOR AND NOT A PREACHER.
So why did CBN platform Charlie Kirk ? Perhaps it was an ignorant mistake .That is still not excuse and does not blunt to sharp MOCKERY when a highly funded ,culturally compromised political activist and organizer leading a new political PAC who has nothing to lose but funding -urges Baptist Conservative Pastors to stand firm against “the influence of liberalism in the evangelical church. Charlie Kirk cannot escape accountability while seeking to play both sides of the proverbial fence while the culture and the church -especially the SBC- are collapsing .But it may be possible to grab a speaking engagement , a check and likely win over a few new supporters without being noticed for his duplicity and mockery of concerned Biblical Christians .
Conservative Baptist Network , Founders , non Woke leaders- please if you are wanting to help save the SBC and “#Change the Direction”- this is not the way to go about it. What about some old fashion repentance and call to prayer and ignore the voices calling from the mushy middle …the DC and the Baptist Swamp.

Many are asking where their once conservative denominations or movements are landing after the present “reforms” and pressures from #MeToo accusations, global inequity assessments, systemic racism metrics, LGBTQ+ appeasements and the general push to subject Christian faith to the winds of change and the whims of change agents.
ANSWER? The institutional church in America and beyond is breathing it’s last. While some hope for a heaven sent awakening, Revival is not likely to come for the institutions and is only possible biblically and historically after those institutions are gone and much harm and loss brings true deep and widespread repentance.

THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION WENT INTO ANAHEIM AS A COMPLEMENTARIAN MOVEMENT AND EMERGED AS AN EGALITARIAN ONE
Thanks to the 2021 strategically and intentionally timed ordination of 3 women for “pastoral ministry” (directly in conflict with the “Baptist Faith and Message “) by Rick Warren- an “investigation” had been ordered. That investigation would be a round one field exercise for the newly “Repurposed Credentials Committee ” ( more on that in a moment) to investigate Saddleback and Warren for the women pastors ordination. The Report from the Credentials Committee was to be made at the 2022 annual meetings. Meanwhile June 2022 , just before the Convention, Warren announced his own Pastoral successors- a Pastoral COUPLE – he and she pastors to replace him at Saddleback. So for the second year in a row Warren launched his intentionally controversial “news” the week before the convention.
At the 2022 meetings the “Repurposed Credentials Committee” gave its Report on the 2021 investigation of Saddleback ordination of Women and decided it could not and would not condemn Warren and Saddleback’s clear violation of the simple language of the Baptist Faith and Message on ordination and gender roles in ministry because it was “not sure about the meaning of the word PASTOR” .
The Credentials Committee Report was followed by the sudden apparition of a extremely rotund and self inflated Rick Warren touting his accomplishments and contributions to the the SBC and declaring women ordination controversy to be a “secondary issue “.
THE MAGIC OF CELEBRITY PASTORS
And just like that the SBC is now egalitarian. If the reader does not understand why this is a problem on the eve of the SBC bearing the full brunt of the DE&I reforms and #MeToo activism by feminist and LGBTQ operatives- then look at what these forces have done and are doing to other denominations and movements.
Thanks to its own leadership -the SBC is now fully in the hands of these politically and culturally driven forces.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST IN 2022 -A TIMELINE
NOTE- ALL of the below actions and decisions were “top down” SBC leadership manipulations but they are referred to repeatedly as “the will of the messengers”.The ongoing operations of top down manipulations have become glaringly obvious and look more like a trail of bread crumbs leading the SBC into the hands of those demanding an end to its conservative biblical stance on women’s roles in ministry, LGBTQ and as yet pending class action lawsuit settlements on sex abuse claims. Following all this years machinations is a coming push for racial reparations. Just wait and see.
The points below recount how Baptist have been led along by their own leaders to put in motion and empower their own demise .
Baptist were “exposed “for sex abuse and covering it up in time for 2018 Convention in Dallas after #MeToo movement had taken out Conservative Resurgence Baptist icon Paige Patterson in what Albert Mohler then called “The Wrath of God Pour Out- The Humiliation of the Southern Baptist Convention.”
Newly elected SBC President J D Greear and Russell Moore of the eRLC set up an conference and marketed “resources” to “address abuse” from which basically nothing came about
SBC messengers at the 2019 Annual meetings were led to vote in the “Repurposing of a Credentials Committee ” from handling annual registration of messengers to the annual meetings into a sort of “search and destroy” centralized power mechanism for identifying and dealing with non compliant, formerly autonomous churches and their operations and ordination of ministers IF they were deemed to be out of line with coming reforms over sex abuse, race , LGBTQ issues and more.
In 2019 SBC messengers were led vote in a Resolution (9) to affirm the use of Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality as “useful analytical tools ” along with the Gospel. This gave place to the needed activist metrics for projecting systemic guilt on race, gender and other perceived victims across the SBC for the sins of a few.
In May of 2021 the long time subversive Democrat Party machine activist Russell Moore was finally tossed out as head of the ERLC though his henchmen remain in charge. Another of his departed henchmen “leaked ” a letter of Moore’s accusing the SBC leadership in the Executive Committee of “covering up Sex Abuse” (recharging the floundering #MeToo movement) and of widespread “racism ” across the SBC.
Messengers were again led to call for and vote in a new Sex Abuse Task Force to “investigate ” the accusations of Moore in the “leaked letter”. This Task Force has since :
1- Hired Diversity Equity and Inclusion driven Guidepost Solutions operated by a staff of former DHS/ FBI/ Intelligence Community government compliance officers.The SBC Task Force then used as leverage of the supposed “will of the SBC Messengers” to force the SBC Executive Committee to waive Attorney/ Client Privilege ,forcing out significant numbers of the Executive Committee , off setting and reshaping the balance of power while robbing accused conservative members of legal representation.This action also caused the law firm which had represented the SBC /EC for some 68 years to resign. In the final Reports few left leaning structures and individuals were NOT part of the targeted class in the GuidePost /Task Force report. It is impossible to see this move as anything other than the outcomes make it appear.
2- The Task Force hired its own law firm which is a long time partner of LGBTQ organization Human Rights Campaign “developing litigation strategies” for the advance of LGBTQ Equality”. (In all 5 new law firms -all very pro HRC-very pro LGBTQ- very pro DE&I filled in the voids left by departing representatives. The new Executive Committee law firm even sponsors the Nashville Pride Parade where the SBC EC offices are housed in the SBC headquarters.
3. Guidepost Solutions own Public Relations firm boast in it’s DE&I statements: “We don’t work with businesses or individuals whose actions or beliefs we believe undermine gender, LGBTQ+, ethnic, racial or social equality.”
Now the “findings” of the Sex Abuse Task Force and the “Reforms” of the Guidepost Solutions “Investigation” will be implemented and overseen by yet another Task Force . The Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force will now take charge with seed money funding provided by Send Relief which is the SBCs NAMB/IMB partner in Faith Based Partnerships funding grants with government agencies. These partnerships demand non discriminatory policies in the distribution of goods and services they partner with government agencies with government funding to provide. Such partners are also unable to engage in ANY explicitly religious activity like prayer, bible study, worship, or “Proselytism” aka evangelism aka The Great Commission which Southern Baptist leaders still tout as the vision and mission of the movement. In actuality this is no longer the case. THIS is the hard reality behind all of the monkey business going on in the SBC and other movements and ministries involved in these partnerships with the government and as NGOs in the global humanitarian sphere. For Baptist, fixing it’s “historic and systemic racism” will be next after the #MeToo lawsuits.
Send Relief has committed $4 million in seed money to the new fund for victims and has committed to set up part of the implementation.Baptist ARE being told this money is NOT part of their missions funding donations -nor is it being told WHERE THE MONEY IS COMING FROM INSIDE SEND RELIEF which happens to be one of the entities most directly involved in Faith Based Partnerships which require the “Reforms” and of course there is more money where that came from.
Messengers in the SBC went to Anaheim CA. Annual Convention to place an exclamation point on a 13 year process of culture change which began when SBC Executive Committee CEO Frank Page joined the 2009 Obama White House Faith Based Neighborhood Partnerships Inaugural Advisory Board to set the SBC in the stream of government grants and partnerships. There Page joined activist from Human Rights Campaign, ARCUS, progressive Muslims, feminist, Democratic activist, and host of change agents to find “common ground for the common good” and access a plenty to tax dollars. Non Discrimination Policies were and remain front and center in these partnership and the Gospel and biblical order and fidelity to it’s own “Baptist Faith and Message” would have to take a back seat and be eventually dismantled .

THE KISS OF DEATH IS BEING UNEQUALLY YOKED WITH UNBELIEVERS …WITH AND AGENDA
FBP PARTICIPATION IS A MAJOR REASON THE SBC IS BEING “REFORMED ” BY METOO AND CULTURAL WINDS.
This decision by SBC leadership cast a cloud over the SBC’s past which left it to be portrayed like an outmoded dystopian landscape filled with injustice -racism-homophobia-discrimination against women and minorities-and “right wing “voting patterns. All that was needed to end this massive white male dominated sect in America was a narrative of “white privilege” – xenophobia – oppression and victimization of women- gay hatred – white nationalism, tribalism, right wing extremism , insurrectionist , etc etc etc.
Add the #MeToo movement in 2018 and Baptist were facing their transformation from Conservative movement (among its membership at least) to an egalitarian , diverse , equitable, and inclusive partner is community transformation and global citizenry .Can the Southern Baptist be Saved is the question on both sides of the aisle. Not likely but never impossible with God.
FIRST THE REMEDY
Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
How can we allow the winds of culture or the predetermined outcomes sought by activist agents of change instruct us on how CORRECT WRONG and to follow the Lord faithfully in His house? Baptist leaders in particular would have to come clean and stop the hustle of their members and messengers and get out of corrupt partnerships and funding. NOT likely to happen. It will NOT happen without a breaking and deep humility and repentance toward God from compromise – not a public show of repentance to appease activist.
WE NEED REPENTANCE -DEEP- FAR- AND WIDE
HOSEA 10:12 “Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.”
AT THE MOMENT THE SBC HAS NO ONE LEADING THE MOVEMENT IN THIS BIBLICAL DIRECTION.
So what is left for the movement but to become a landscape littered with self identified victims and activist demanding justice for themselves and all those represented by the letters in the big DE&I tents ? And who will get “justice”? Only those who politics and points of view fit the future vision for the rebranded movement.
THE FALSE FUTURE OF CHURCH TEACHING
ONLY those who own and possesses the right to “apply” words like Justice and Equity – or Diversity Equity and Inclusion to the church are the ones who own and determine it’s future . Neither the Living God nor His Word are consulted in this grand scheme of how things ought to be.
Southern Baptist descended into their 2022 Annual meeting fully prepped by its leadership to collapse into the hands of those who will dismantle their faith.
After 5 years of relentless assault from the #MeToo accusations, disparity of the Biblical stance of most Baptist, and inside activist leaking emails and writing Washington Post and NY Times article the narrative is now fixed.
The portrait of current “DYSTOPIAN CHURCH” is now complete.
Now comes the flooding in of a broader agenda to bring REFORM to the faith of Baptist (along with every other faith movements followers in America) on gender roles in church, the nuclear family, race relations, sexuality , LGBTQ+ and in answer to the general projections of “inequity” , “systemic discrimination” , “homophobia”, tribalism, white privilege, and nationalism in the church. THIS is the landscape we have been told exist .
NOTE- ABUSE DOES EXIST ! BUT “JUSTICE” IS ONLY FOR SOME VICTIMS
FIRST PLEASE NOTE -abuses of all kinds have existed and have at times been covered up in the church. The SBC has a long established “good ole boy” network at the top tier of leadership in its Nashville national offices and in some of its primary institutions. Real Victims need help and need to know that future abuse is being prevented. However the current trending methods and partners to answer the problem of abuse is more often politically and agenda driven and performed by agents who do not share their common faith or values of Christian conviction. (MORE on this later) This ongoing situation has only been made worse, not by the conservative politics of Resurgence era Baptist, BUT by the bipartisan corruption and compromise inspired by dirty money from Faith Based Partnerships involvement since at least 2009.
Government money going into church ministries ,including almost all levels of the SBC is the REAL root of the problem.
Corruption, not conservative convictions is at the root of the problem and since the new REFORMS are being enacted by secular partners with deep ties to the government and inorder on many levels to assure compliance by Baptist leaders to “non discrimination” and Diversity Equity and Inclusion policies so assure GREAT FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES in the faith based models- more corruption and more money is certainly unlikely to stem any abuses or reenforce greater accountability .It never has so why would it now in “the present crisis”?
SAMPLES OF THE DOMINATE BAPTIST NARRATIVE
In a June 24th piece in hard left interfaith Religion News Service – Baptist #MeToo activist and former Liberty University / Jerry Falwell Jr employee Karen Swallow Prior asked the question ” Can the Southern Baptist Convention Be Saved? “. Prior must certainly be hoping on some level that the movement will survive and remain economically viable enough to sustain her present position as a professor in SEBTS one of the MORE -WOKE SBC seminaries. Prior remains not only an activist employed within the SBC but one of a herd of activist journalist fueling controversies and making demands of the SBC .
PRIOR RECOUNTS THE BAPTIST #MeToo HISTORY AND TAKES A JAB AT SLAVERY
“The SBC is not the only place, nor the only denomination, facing the #MeToo #ChurchToo problem, of course. Yet, the SBC plays an outsized role within the larger culture because of its present as the largest Protestant denomination in America and its past as a denomination founded on the defense of the evil institution of human slavery.”
PRIOR ALSO CALLS FOR HUMILITY AND ACCEPTANCE OF BAPTIST COLLECTIVE FATE

The statement below is from a tweet during the SBC 2022 meetings by mega-church pastor and Baptist Sex Abuse task Force Chairman Bruce Frank. The flawed reasoning and utter ignorance is dumbfounding. Think about -the sexual and gender standards of a company in whose hands Baptist have placed themselves, their past and their future compliance “IS NOT AN ISSUE”.

PRIOR ,RUSSELL MOORE, AND OTHER SBC ACTIVIST CIRCLE THE SBCs REMAINS
Reports from Lifeway Research, the SBC number crunchers admitted this year that the supposed 14 million strong SBC membership is actually down from about 5 million regular attendance on any given Sunday morning to 3.6 million. These numbers tell the sad story of universal decline in the Christian churches and denominations in America. Those movements like the PCUSA and Episcopal who have led the way 30-40 years ago in becoming more “Diverse -Equitable- and Inclusive are in a much steeper state of decline and many nearing unsustainable levels of attendance. Activist themselves like Karen Swallow Prior find themselves on a sinking ship. Russell Moore- her former boss at the Baptist Ethics arm has already abandoned ship.
CONCLUSION
The SBC with its in house activist and outside partners and dark money have only hastened their own demise by handing their bank accounts and their future over to the REFORMS demanded by who seek its demise as a Biblical movement. The idols of modern culture are now firmly and officially installed in every corner of the SBC . It cannot escape the CORRUPTION or the judgement which always follows these kind of poor decisions and deceptions.
