THE ACTUAL SCANDAL IS HOW THE SEX ABUSE INVESTIGATION IS BEING USED TO FORCE DE&I ON SOUTHERN BAPTIST PROVIDING A HUGE WINDFALL FOR SBC ENTITIES .

Southern Baptist Christians are being told they or their church messengers headed to Anaheim California to vote on annual business and to “deal with the sex abuse scandal and investigation ” which they (the messengers) are told they demanded last year. Baptist are also being told that they wanted and ordered a “Task Force” to be formed to study the ongoing sex abuse and cover up scandals and “report back in 2022”.

So is this what is really happening? It only appears to be the case if you do not know or pay close attention to the rest of the story and events of the last five years.

ONE WAY TICKET TO COMPLIANCE REFORMS

Baptist have descended into Anaheim mostly unaware that they have been played into having the politically correct, global goals, social justice and equity, intersectional, template of Diversity Equity & ($) Inclusion applied to them – their churches- their missions organizations and their futures. Reform is in the air- DE&I compliance Reform and NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP IT.

MR, PRESIDENT – CAN YOU RESPOND?

No matter who becomes the next SBC President they are going to either be played or be a part of playing their fellow Southern Baptist into the overhaul of Baptist culture – values and metrics just like the corporate and agency clients of the DE&I partners the Task Force and other entities in the SBC have chosen .

VICTIMS STAND ASIDE

Victims of actual sex abuse by some in the SBC must wait their turn and for the class action lawsuits etc to be cake walked through the process. Of course law firms and court fees and such will help dwindle down actual settlements. Placed alongside the grant funding windfalls a DE&I compliant SBC leadership can obtain as a result of the “sex abuse “reforms- abuse survivors pay offs will look rather meager in comparison. Meanwhile the SBC coffers can quickly be replenished with more grant funding once DE&I reforms are secured. Sex Abuse Victims were the perfect vehicle to drive compliance.

THE REAL SBC SCANDAL IS TWO FOLD

First – Few Baptist know or have ever been told that their movement has become major players in the Faith Based Partnerships for humanitarian work/ disaster relief / and community development . This means SBC entities and programs like SEND RELIEF can assess billions of dollars in federal / local/ NGO funding and private foundation grants. Along with other organizations , after agreeing not the “discriminate” (KEY WORD HERE in the SCANDAL) – WHO KNEW- DID YOU? Also this means -Secondly -everything hinges on SBC ability /agreement to obey the rules NOT to engage any explicitly religious activity ( i.e. Gospel ministry) in the funded programs AND to reform- impose- foster …”MORE Diversity Equity and Inclusion” or DE&I.

SOME HISTORY ON NAMB HUMANITARIANISM AND PARTNER -WORLD RELIEF

Send Relief has become a part of the Refugee Care /Resettlement in a huge way through the evangelical recruiting partner World Relief , the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals . NAE/ World Relief came along side the US Conference of Catholic Bishops to “recruit evangelical partners into refugee care and resettlement of Muslims (mostly ) into the US. World Relief landed a reported $300 million of the $5.4 billion which the Catholic Bishops obtained very early on for these efforts.

Send Relief is developing a network of Send Centers around the country . The Clarkston GA center appears to be the primary center for Muslim Refugee processing and resettlement .

SEND RELIEF WILL FUND THE APPLICATION OF THE TRAINING AND OUTCOMES FOR THE DE&I LED INVESTIGATION.

The Sex Abuse Task Force which hired both DE&I driven Guidepost Solutions and Linklaters Law Firm decided that the SEND RELIEF arm of NAMB – not the Cooperative Program giving- will fund the actions outlined in the Guidepost . The Task called for this change and the SBC Executive Committee voted on it today.

Funding for abuse reform changes

“Following an announcement from an SBC ministry funding arm and a vote by the SBC Executive Committee at a meeting Monday, there was a change to the source of funding for prospective sexual abuse reform work.”

“Two weeks ago, the executive committee gathered for a special meeting to vote on measures to make recommendations to the SBC voting delegates — called messengers — to approve funding for abuse reform work. When the executive committee approved those measures, the plan was to use funding from the Cooperative Program budget, which is what churches donate to. “

“However, a week after the executive committee’s June 2 meeting, SEND Relief, a separate fund for natural disaster response and other ministries, announced it would put unrestricted dollars to the abuse reform work instead.” 

On Monday morning, the executive committee met and voted to rescind the measures they approved on June 2. 

“On Tuesday, messengers will vote on a series of abuse reform recommendations. If approved, SEND Relief will commit its dollars to that work.”

“SEND Relief said it would provide $3 million for initial abuse reform work. In addition, it will give $1 million to a survivor-care fund.”

SELF INTEREST AND -GREED KILLING EVANGELICAL MISSION ?

NAE is a lobbying organization for evangelicals and was founded to lobby in DC for Evangelicals interest. Given that NAEs World Relief is THE major recruiter of evangelical partners in grant funded humanitarian programs and that SEND RELIEF is the SBCs primary humanitarian partner – the interest they seem to serving is their own.

In an article in Christianity Today – NAE discusses its own DE&I Complinace reforms and MORE money for its Muslim Resettlement efforts once the “Trump era Muslim Bans” were lifted .

Since 1944, the Christian nonprofit has focused on engaging with church networks to raise support, advocate, and mobilize volunteers to join their mission.”

NAE /WORLD RELIEF LESS MUSLIMS -LESS MONEY MORE MUSLIMS- MO MONEY

“World Relief had shut down eight of its 27 national offices due to yearly cuts in refugee admissions and resettlement funding under the Trump administration’s restrictive policies. In the past few months, World Relief began ramping up their resources and rebuilding infrastructure under President Biden. “

“We believe there’s going to be strong support for refugee resettlement from the Biden administration. We’ve learned that they were open to listening to the opinions of stakeholders and we’re really encouraged by their responsiveness, their concern and the seriousness with which they’re taking these issues. We’re encouraged by the ceiling raising to 62,500 for this fiscal year, and we’re optimistic that the ceiling will be raised to 125,000 next year. We’re excited about that. And while this comes with a need for resourcing and organizational capacity building after years of reduced numbers, we know there are many churches and community organizations eager to participate in the process and ready to respond to the opportunity to welcome more refugees into this country.”

SEND RELIEF WORK IN HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS /FEMA / SEND RELIEF CENTERS AND REFUGEE INFUSION IN US COMMUNITIES .

If you doubt the role Send Relief is playing in government funded work then ask your Baptist leaders to open the books and respond by addressing the sources, presence of, requirements and facts around the funding .

If you wonder why the Send Relief arm of the SBC/NAMB is handling the funding of the SBC Task Force and its DE&I partners in the “investigation” outcomes reforms and compliance -then look no further than whose standards of DE&I and non-discrimination the SBC is now beholden to and what it will take for all these partners to continue to operate their humanitarian programs together.

MONEY AND ORGANIZATIONS WHO ALREADY HAVE ASEAT AT THE TABLE

At the Table already have been government agencies – private foundations including Open Society interest , Equality advocates and activist- Feminist- racial minority advocates ( whose cause and calls for reparations are next on the SBC list) and a host of the victim ACTIVIST coalition streaming in the cultural abyss.

Rainbow flags – egalitarian pulpits – racial reparations and more await a new -reformed and compliant Southern Baptist.

VICTIMS STILL ACTUALLY HAVE NO ADVOCATE UNLESS THEY FIT THE UNDERLYING AGENDA.

THE SBC leadership have now placed you- your church and your faith into the same streams which merge into the “River of No Return”.
