If you are a Christian parent of a 20 to 30 year old who professes like faith but does not share your convictions on moral issues or their political  ideology then you are not alone. In fact you are likely in the majority. If the couple or couples raising your grandkids seem detached and confused somewhere between  their profession of faith and the voting booth and you find their lack of clarity disturbing then you are a likely victim of the evangelical elite subversives.

A generation of Christians are being hardwired through social engineering and process of social change with this EXACT outcome in mind. If your grown children are attending or graduated from a Christian college university or seminary then you most likely paid for this deconstructionism and their indoctrination and departure from the convictions you made every effort to instill in them.

In plain language. From every visible indicator on the “political engagement” front -evangelical elitist like Russell Moore, Tim Keller, Albert Mohler, Ligon Duncan and more have been stealing the Biblical convictions of the future generation for over two decades and SOWING THE TARES of leftist politics wrapped in a perverted neo-Calvinist theology in the open fields of our next generation. Worst of all, if you sent your children to one of these guys institutions and other men like them then you likely supported them to undermine your children and grandchildren’s convictions.

The worst possible outcomes are being realized after 3 decades of this subversion. Critical Theory has replaced Critical Thinking. Cultural Marxism has replaced Biblical Compassion. Lenin’s Social Justice has been substituted for the Gospel and a generation has been taught to despise the very freedoms that being an American and being the offspring of conservative Christian parents has afforded them. In short some key SBC and other elitist leaders have gamed the system and the trust of a generation of Christians and are seeking to transforming the social views of an entire generation of Believers.

Even if your grown children and grandchildren did not attend the educational institutions they are still most likely members of  churches being led and undergoing like transformation by “pastors” who did. They are reading books by them, using Sunday school and discipleship curriculum designed by them and reading Christian media (like Christianity Today) written by the.

Mainstream Christianity  has become a place where no refuge remains from the politics of the evangelical elitist.

JUST GOSPEL 2020: LATEST EXAMPLE OF SEDUCTION

A key part of the seduction of NEXT GENERATION political views  is the “social gospel ” snare which destroyed the mainline denominations and institutions of the 60s and 70s  . It is now called “Social Justice”. The “Just Gospel 2020 ” event outlined here is better understood by the discerning  as a political rally NOT a Gospel event . It is the second such event -the first in 2019 and now is set to launch the 2020 political cycle  narrative of those leaders involved like Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist ERLC. The event is put on by “The Front Porch ” an organization of fellow Southern Baptist and The Gospel Coalition (TGC ) leader Thabiti Anyabwile ( not his birth name).

As PREVIOUSLY warned, more and more self appointed and self serving progressive evangelical leaders will be showing their true colors as we see the 2020 election cycle intensify. Historically Baptist have never thought their preachers should try to tell them how to vote let alone engage manipulative rhetoric against a popular President who most in the evangelical community like and appreciate. But what Baptist may want has never had much bearing on the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission under Russell D. Moore or his hirelings. So it should come as no surprise that an ERLC Fellow  who works for liberal Jesuit Georgetown University, the Atlantic Council, and is a former Obama administration intel analyst should lead the way for Baptist elite calling for President Trump’s removal from office.

The irony in the case of Miller is that he literally ” wrote the book” (actually the whitepaper) on political civility / engagement for Russell Moore’s ERLC. That document, released in September 2019, was to set the tone for conservative followers in the SBC. It is obvious now that it was NEVER INTENDED to govern the elite like Paul D. Miller who wrote it or his ERLC boss Moore who commissioned it.

MILLER’S WEIRD ATTEMPTS TO MAKE HIS CASE AGAINST PRESIDENT TRUMP’S POPULARITY BASED ON RECORD ON ABORTION WITH SOME VERY BACKDOOR AND MANIPULATIVE APPROACHES.

Miller’s voice here seems to be coming form the political twilight zone.

“The problem comes when the monarch dies and hands power to someone else. Without a Constitution to constrain monarchs, we have no way of guaranteeing that the next one will be pro-life. Indeed, the next one might not like Christians at all. The next one might not even respect our religious liberty. That is why a Constitution which guarantees us the right to participate in the political process is, over the long run, far more valuable than any single prolife official.”

“For the sake of the country, the Constitution, for equal justice under law, for the future of the pro-life cause, Trump must be convicted and removed from office.”

(NOTE – One of the most consistent needs of these progressive elitist is to undermine the conviction of Christians who are pro-life from being “single issues voters”. Miller just got very creative in his approach to do so. His boss at ERLC thinks himself a master of it.)

ERLC ELITE SEEM TO BELIEVE THAT NEW AGE THINK TANKS AND GEORGETOWN PROFESSORS CAN THINK BETTER ABOUT POLITICS THAN BAPTIST CAN FOR THEMSELVES. MOST BAPTIST WOULD THINK OTHERWISE… IF THEY KNEW.

CONCLUSION 

Southern Baptist who were disturbed by the mouthing off of Christianity Today’s editor Mark Galli need ONLY to look in their own back yard to find a Research Fellow of their own Ethics and Religious Liberties Commission who looks to be going far beyond the arrogant rhetoric of the Christianity Today editor and doing so repeatedly. It is also likely that they are paying him to speak on their behalf. In the case of Paul D. Miller, the Baptist author of the ERLC Civil Engagement whitepaper, the hypocrisy is even more glaring.

CHRISTIANITY TODAY JUST MADE THE KIND OF NEWS THAT NO NEWS PUBLICATION WANTS TO MAKE IF IT INTENDED TO SURVIVE. HOW COULD IT LEADERS MAKE SUCH A STUPID MISTAKE? THE ANSWER MAY BE THE AMERICAN UNITY FUND & CT’s NEW CEO.

Many long trusted Christian institutions are on their way out as more and more of them pander to audiences outside their base and ally with dirty partners, tainted money, and left wing politics .This past week Christianity Today (CT) may have signaled that they are the latest “For Whom the Bell Tolls” in evangelicalism for 2019. Few could have missed this story about CT’s editor Mark Gallis now infamous article lending validation to the “impeachment” clown show by desperate Democratic leadership against President Donald Trump. No matter what the motive for the ill advised move by editorial (using the term loosely) “leadership”  … it could simply not have gone more poorly for Galli and for Christianity Today.

DEATH BY KEYBOARD …AND STUPIDITY FROM THE ECHO CHAMBER

The CT story line read

The take away for most evangelicals has been that CT is moving in unison and in step with the Democratic Party and it’s leaders who have mocked the public support of a popular President.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO CHRISTIANITY TODAY? HOW COULD SUCH A MISTAKE IN JUDGEMENT BEEN MADE?

Here are a FEW DISTURBING FACTS to consider :

On December 6th 2019 just a short 2 1/2 weeks before the self inflicted silver bullet of CT with the ” Trump Removal”story, Christianity Today punted a hot potato into play in the Religious Liberty discussion vs LGBTQ “rights”. They also may have inadvertently revealed some prejudiced favoritism toward a very disturbing and recurrent POLITICAL FORCE hidden away among the GOP & evangelicals.

THE FAIRNESS FOR ALL SELL OUT OF RELIGIOUS LIBERTY TO LGBTQ RIGHTS.

Fairness For All  (FfA) is marketed to be a “third way” compromise to the Equality Act LGBTQ dream legislation currently half way through the Congress approval process. The CCCU, NAE and the Mormon church have jumped in behind the compromise. BUT CT exposed WELL in advance of the public’s knowledge that another “partner ” was in the mix behind “Freedom for All”.

After listing the supposed opposition to Fairness for All CT goes on to say –

“Other evangelical leaders, however, including pastor Tim Keller, legal scholar John Inazu, and CT editor in chief Mark Galli, have argued that a both/and approach is possible. The Fairness for All idea has also received support from some legal scholars, and it has been endorsed by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A similar law has been enacted in Utah, with the support of the LDS church.”

(NOW LISTEN CLOSELY TO WHAT CHRISTIANITY TODAY REVEALS)

“Despite opposition from some conservative evangelicals, the CCCU has continued working toward a legislative solution that would connect religious liberty and LGBT rights. The organization partnered with the American Unity Fund (a politically conservative LGBT-rights group) and the 1st Amendment Partnership (a religious-freedom advocacy organization) to develop the legislation and build support for the legislative strategy.”

PROBLEM HERE ?

Besides the fact that the controversial  anti Trump CT editor Mark Galli is named among the supporters of Fairness for All make note of this statement and read on ;

“…. the CCCU has continued working toward a legislative solution that would connect religious liberty and LGBT rights. The organization partnered with the American Unity Fund (a politically conservative LGBT-rights group)”

AMERICAN UNITY FUND IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE ORG!

NOT UNLESS YOU SEE THE FULL RANGE OF LGBTQ RIGHTS APPROACHED FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE POLITICAL DIVIDE AS A CONSERVATIVE POINT OF VIEW. FUNDING CONSERVATIVE CHANGE IS NOT THE SAME AS FUNDING CONSERVATIVES.

In fact CT looks to be not only knowledgeable of the partners behind Fairness for All well before most in the public could have known but ALSO looks to be willing to misrepresent the one of those key partners to which CT has DISTURBING TIES.

WHO IS THE AMERICAN UNITY FUND?

AUF is the organization of pro LGBTQ rights  billionaire Paul Singer

Singer is a supporter of the radical Human Rights Campaign who is pushing the Equality Act. Singer is a Hedge Fund investor. He is simply placing funding on both sides to win either way and “hedging ” his investment.

Controversy over HRC’s international push

“The Paul E. Singer Foundation and the Daniel S. Loeb Family Foundation will give at least $3 million in grants to the HRC Foundation over the next three years in support of various objectives. These include providing fellowships to LGBT activists outside the U.S. and highlighting American groups that support homophobic and transphobic initiatives in other countries.” (Nov 6 2013)

YET EVEN SOME LGBTQ RIGTHS ADVOCATES HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SINGER FUNDING

“Some LGBT rights advocates questioned the new initiative and in particular Singer’s funding of it.”

“HRC is receiving its money for gay rights in the Third World from the man who ‘virtually invented vulture funds’: a form of speculation that’s one of the worst contributors to Third World poverty ever,” Scott Long, who is the former executive director of Human Rights Watch’s LGBT program, wrote on his blog”

The vision of LGBTQ rights was greatly advanced under the Obama administration so it should come as no surprise that the Obama Foundation’s Faith Ambassador’s organization is continuing  the drive toward “Full LGBTQ Protections” from discrimination . The narrative the movement is using is to couple the cause with “protecting Religious Liberty”…. “for All”.

& Campaign is the leading voice of Democratic Party and Obama operatives into the evangelical community. While The Equality Act ( offering FULL Federal Protections to LGBTQ in the name of Civil Rights ) looms large in the Democratic Party platform, few Christians are aware of the threats the Equality Act represent to Religious Liberty or to churches and denominations who hold to Biblical convictions on sexuality and marriage. As this threat advances with little notice , major players have already stepped up from outside and within the Evangelical community to promote a compromise. That Compromise is called “Fairness for All”

The Controversial Revoice movement emerged from deep within the conservative Evangelical denominations .It’s leaders originate from conservative institutions like the Southern Baptist and conservative Presbyterians in 2018 promoting “LGBTQ Flourishing in Historic Christian Tradition”. One of Revoice thought leaders is Preston Sprinkle a two time graduate of John MacArthur’s conservative Master’s Seminary . Sprinkle is the head of the “Center for Faith Sexuality and Gender”. Sprinkles organization trains churches in welcoming and ministering to the LGBTQ Community and advocates for LGBT+  Inclusion in the churches. Sprinkle is a”straight ally ” of the LGBTQ+ agenda and community foray into rethinking and REVOICING the LGBT+ issues inside the church.

Multiple leaders/ fellows  from Russell Moore’s ERLC openly endorsed the radical Revoice LGBT Flourishing conference in 2018  which  Russell Moore denied any knowledge of on the floor of the SBC Dallas Convention meetings. This is in the face of the fact that THIS writer questioned in Moore in detail about the Revoice event and ERLC Fellows leaders endorsements of it the day prior to Moore’s denial. Also Moore is the protege’ of Albert Mohler of SBTS which is the Seminary where Revoice founder Nate Collins obtained two degrees and where Collins taught New Testament at the time Revoice was founded. Moore also attended and taught at SBTS under Mohler and overlapping by Collins time there for many years. ERLC and SBTS professor Andrew Walker is also a close associate of Revoice leaders like Matthew Lee Anderson.

THE COMPROMISE 

The Fairness for All Comprise  is endorsed by The National Association of Evangelicals ( NAE) and by the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU)  but “opposed” by leaders of The Gospel Coalition like Russell More and Albert Mohler .

Even though the public opposition has been vocal over at the ERLC and the Heritage Foundation from the start something odd is happening in the & Campaign endorsement of Fairness for All that should be of interest to concerned Christians. J D Greear has been the figure heading some of the most radical goings on in the Southern Baptist in its long history. Under his watch as President the SBC 2019 buried the concerns of “Queer Christianity ” from Revoice Conference and “approved  Critical Race Theory and  Intersectionality as helpful analytical tools with the Gospel”.  Greear is too young and apparently too dull to understand that his “leadership ” is little more than an opportunity for those behind the SBC curtains to put a smiling mega-church pastor’s face on their progressive political strategies.

Olasky is known for having literally “written the book ” (The Tragedy of American Compassion) on Christian charity and volunteerism that in many ways brought about the “Compassionate Conservatism” strategy and embrace of the now infamous Faith Based Partnerships of the George W Bush Presidency  . Bush first applied the Olasky ideology in Texas as Governor and then nationally as President. In the view of some, including this writer, these programs have greatly compromised Christian understanding of and ministry vision and the church in America has never recovered .

I have known Dr Robert Oscar Lopez for several years and we have worked together on projects , articles and several conferences. He has a powerful testimony of deliverance from homosexuality and from having been raised in a lesbian household in an  Ivy League ,achievement driven, family. Dr. Lopez is a writer, educator, thinker, speaks 8 languages and is Yale educated. He does not shy from the truth about his past or his conversion to faith in Jesus and has paid a price for standing up in secular academia for the Gospel . One such stand left him embattled and jobless in California. In the heat of this battle and aftermath Dr. Lopez was contacted and offered the chance to teach at SWBTS in Ft Worth by then President Paige Patterson who himself was destined to become the target of progressive forces in his own Southern Baptist Convention .

Once Paige Patterson was forced out of office at SWBTS in the Spring of 2018 Dr. Lopez and his closest friends all knew he was now in a perilous place with his employment. From all outside appearances it was the #MeToo movement and the secular press who “caught “Paige Patterson “covering up” a long history of abuse. But once the new administration for SWBTS came on line it was fairly clear that the power behind Patterson’s removal was Albert Mohler as his “team”, including Randy Stinson (who became SWBTS new Provost),  were moved into place to complete the Mohler machine take down and take over of the Ft Worth Seminary.

LIFE IN THE MOHLER CROSSHAIRS 

The day after Thanksgiving 2019 Dr. Lopez finally received “official notice” of his termination from SWBTS. Supposedly he was “laid off” because curriculum changes eliminated his position when in fact Mohler’s people, including Stinson, had been targeting and intimidating Lopez for months. They called him into meeting after meeting with the Dean and the Provost – demanding he not do interviews or write on issues related to LGBTQ and his testimony without gaining permission from a new young staffer Colby Adams. who was also from the Mohler camp as Mohler’s Producer for his program”The Briefing” producer.

Lopez is a prolific writer and commentator on cultural issues and academia so such restrictions were too vague, open ended, not put in writing and restrictive for Lopez to discern, comply and follow. Adams inability  to respond in a timely manner cost Dr. Lopez opportunity to speak to such concerns in national publications. Yet this expectation by the new Mohler leadership at SWBTS came with threats that Lopez writings and opinions  “would force them to fire you” and “if you are going to write that you will have to do it from somewhere else”.

Mohler underling and SWBTS Provost  Randy Stinson personally slid resignation paperwork across his desk demanding Lopez resign. This was several months ago. Now that Dr. Lopez is going public, Stinson released a statement on the situation and why he and SWBTS insist Dr. Lopez was terminated. In the statement Stinson denies Dr Lopez recent statements on his termination and even counters his own documented position in the matter. Stinson’s SWBTS statement also descends into the level of personal attacks on Dr Lopez.

Having followed this story from the time Paige Patterson was forced out of SWBTS to today, I can affirm that the issues involving Dr.Lopez at SWBTS, a Southern Baptist institution, have everything to do with Albert Mohler and the problems his own progressive movement in the denomination has created.

Here they are in no particular order

1. Dr. Lopez’s testimony of deliverance from homosexuality and full restoration to heterosexual norms is counter to Albert Mohler’s ownership of the myth of “unchanging homosexual orientation ” which he embraced in 2014 at the ERLC conference on “The Gospel. Homosexuality, and the Future of Marriage”.
2. Provost Randy Stinson is Mohler’s key man on the ground at SWBTS after Mohler’s people took charge of the administration and began their overhaul of the curriculum. Stinson himself and SWBTS leadership confirm with the “layoff” of Dr. Lopez that THEY are overhauling /changing the curriculum. The embedded faculty at SWBTS who already had contacts and funding from the Social Justice invasive curriculum which has previously made its way into SBTS and SEBTS, were quickly – if not pre-selected to lead out the curriculum overhaul at SWBTS. This is the Kern Family Foundation funded, Oikonomia Network oversight, Acton Institute -Libertarian Catholic Social Justice curriculum which is at the root of the Mohler -Critical Race Theory /Intersectionality / James Cone/ Liberation Theology “Social Justice “controversies in the SBC. I first documented these connections and networks in 2016 article titled “the Evangelical Deep State”. Mohler has welcomed this agenda driven curriculum  and funding not only into SBTS but now into SWBTS.  It may VERY WELL be the impetus behind their desire to oust Paige Patterson.
3. Provost Randy Stinson is an ERLC Fellow and speaker. He contacted ERLC leaders about Dr Lopez and used the ERLC poor “assessment ” of Lopez in his threats and efforts to force Dr. Lopez resignation over the last several months. ERLC is led by controversial Albert Mohler disciple Russell Moore. ERLC trained staff give the main official support to the “unchanging homosexual orientation’s” talking points which Albert Mohler has openly embraced and promotes to the SBC churches.  Dr. Lopez’s testimony and professional work and ministry do not conform to this ERLC leading narrative
4. The real race problem in the SBC is in the Mohler circle as Mohler and his disciples continue to bear the heat of pushback from SBC 2019 justification of Critical Race Theory  and Intersectionality as “analytical tools” with the Gospel. Also efforts are ongoing to drive the #MeToo movement into the SBC as an abuse prevention. Dr. Lopez  made the point that efforts addressing sexual abuse by ERLC/ Moore /Mohler are problematic when it ignores the reality of Same Sex Abuse and that promoting LGBT+ in the SBC will ensure more not less abuse. Mohler called #MeToo movement against  SWBTS former President Paige Patterson “the Wrath of  God Poured on the SBC”. (  https://albertmohler.com/2018/05/23/wrath-god-poured-humiliation-southern-baptist-convention/ ) Meanwhile in the midst of the talking points and media blitz the SBTS/ Mohler regime at SWBTS have in fact fired 13 minority  faculty including  Dr. Lopez. Stinson and SWBTS have replaced 6 of them with pasty white boys from Mohler’s SBTS institution. Mohler, while pushing CRT, Intersectionality and #MeToo in the SBC is either allowing or directing his people to purge SWBTS of people of color and minority faculty. In the case of Dr. Lopez this is counter to his own intersectional humanity as a Latino,  former homosexual, former liberal academic turned Baptist believer. He now finds himself out of a job and being lied about in public by Mohler disciples at SWBTS.
5. Dr. Robert Lopez is a problem for Albert Mohler, for the ERLC, Russell Moore, for SWBTS Randy Stinson, and the SWBTS faculty position BECAUSE he is NOT Sam Allbery or Rosaria Butterfield or Jackie Hill Perry or Christopher Yuan or Nate Collins of Revoice (an SBTS graduate and NT Teacher) or Karen Swallow Prior, or J D Greear, or Andrew Walker and Daniel Darling (employees of the ERLC). Dr. Robert Lopez  counters all their talking points of Same Sex Attraction and “unchanging homosexual orientation”. He is not standing in ERLC conferences demanding SBC churches be more “hospitable ” welcoming of  LGTQ+ Community, pining after deeply cherished homosexual desire toward the same sex (SSA). Dr. Lopez is NOT  calling for SBC churches to audit their churches for LGBTQ+ inclusion ( like Sam Allberry/ Living Out). He is not demanding SBC people hire LGBT+ staff or support Single  SSA Christian adoption and foster care. Lopez is not insisting that Queer Culture holds treasures for the New Jerusalem as SBTS Graduate /NT Teacher REvoice founder Nae Collins website did . Lopez instead wrote an Amicus Brief for SCOTUS Obergefell defending the rights of children to know birth parents in the quagmire being created  by unnatural  circumstances  around  same sex  “parenting”.
6. Dr. Lopez is ALSO  a target because he spoke up. This includes two recent resolutions submitted to the SBC. One to stand up for so called “Ex Gay ” ministries and Counseling and the other ironically  to protect Whistle Blowers in the SBC. Both were crushed by Mohler influence in the SBC Resolution Committees .

( THE FOLLOWING ILLUSTRATES THE REALITY THAT CONSERVATIVE CHURCHES AND MOVEMENTS WHO TRY TO PARTNER WITH URBAN ACTIVIST , GOVERNMENT PROJECTS, WELFARE PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION ALWAYS BECOME LOOSED FROM THEIR BIBLICAL MOORINGS  AND FIND THEMSELVES DROWNING IN A SEA OF PROGRESSIVE POLITICAL IDEOLOGY .THIS NEVER …NEVER ENDS WELL.)

Thirty Pieces of Silver .org was born in part out of the disturbing revelations at this writer’s own church home in 2012 when it adopted Randy Pope’s  “Journey Curriculum” -“Seeking the Welfare of The City ” and Community “Connector ” VISION  of the church as the hub for community development . The vision of Randy Pope /Perimeter Church became this writers church -NEW vision. Randy Pope had been selling his ideology  through  the Journey Curriculum which had a justice and community narrative with a plan for “mobilization ” of the congregations at his own church and other churches who followed it.

By 2013 Pope visited this writers Birmingham Alabama church and helped launch its own smaller scale “Connector” project. That church, Shades Mountain Independent, had quickly gone from being a growing church with solid evangelistic / discipleship model to a becoming a rapidly declining congregation with ministries taking government funding and attempting city wide community development role in the social justice vein . Today SMI- now renamed Shades Mountain Community Church , continues its steep decline and is teetering on the verge of collapse under the “Connector Project ” debt and the failing “vision”.

Birmingham Alabama Briarwood PCA Church pastor Harry Reeder was involved in the vision with SMI church through it’s mutual interest in the “City Reaching ” / justice model of the local “Mission Birmingham ” following in the footsteps of Pope’s Atlanta organization. (More on that in a moment )

This writer contacted Randy Pope about his “vision casting ” which split the SMI congregation and took it deeply in to debt -creating an uncertain future for the declining church . Pope was not interested in discussing the issues and provided only  a very brief response to the details of the concern. He called for agreement to “agree to disagree” without any discussion of the facts.

RANDY POPE CALLS PERIMETER CHURCH TO GO “ALL-IN” $75 MILLION WORTH

Randy Pope at the same time led his own church to  LAUNCHED ITS OWN capital campaign called “All – In Kingdom Impact ” to raise funding to update facilities and budget for the community development vision of the “Connector Program “. ( At the same time Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church  was raising $73 million to do the essentially same on it’s campuses .)

As part of this vision Pope would engage the Rick Warren “Purpose Driven ” model from the same Faith Based Partnership ideals Pope / Warren/ fellow PCA “visionary ” Tim Keller learned from Peter Drucker and Bob Buford’s Leadership Network. Drucker was a corporate “social responsibility ” management  guru whose ideology was used by  Buford’s organization Leadership Network to lure and “train many “innovative ” and personally ambitious , pragmatic young pastors like those mentioned above. These young pastors like Pope and Warren were enticed  into embracing  the Drucker model . Leadership Network has been very successful in enticing many others over the last 35 years with little notice by the average congregant in churches like Perimeter and Saddleback..

RANDY POPES “TESTIMONY” OF THE INFLUENCE OF BUFORD / DRUCKER 

In 2014  LeadNet posted this Pope /Perimeter  interview of Randy Pope with Buford about the history of Pope in the Drucker leadership “education”.

The Drucker / Buford vision sees churches and ministries  as a valuable part of “mobilizing volunteers “and “creating community ” for recasting the role of the church in society as one of three sectors .The job of the church is to “care for souls”  in Druckers, three legged stool approach. This role ,as Drucker envisioned it , sees the churches become the hub of social services , health care  , and community human services . Between FEMA during a local disaster response and the housing of “free ” or indigent medical clinics in the churches, to continuing education programs -the church is redefined as providing help and equitable distribution of goods and services at the local level. However the church cannot PARTNER  with other outside entities, especially government entities and funding  and retain it’s Gospel mission. Common sense warnings abound as do outright restrictions on prayer, witness, Bible reading and any explicitly religious activity or any “discriminatory ” policies by those accountable to the Government entities who have direct oversight of such collaborations .

PRAGMATISM – THE DEATH OF GOSPEL  MISSION

RANDY POPE AND MANY OTHER PASTORS WERE MOST LIKELY  PRAGMATIC ENOUGH TO PERSUADE THEMSELVES THEY COULD DO THE GOSPEL WITH GODLESS PARTNERS.

ALSO PERIMETER CHURCH LIKELY DID NOT THINK SUCH WORK AND PARTNERS WOULD IMPACT THEIR SOCIAL POLICY AND POLITICS TO THE POINT OF PLACING THEM DIRECTLY IN LEAGUE WITH OBAMA FOUNDATION GLOBAL AGENDA .

IF NOT THEY WERE WRONG .

OVER THIRTY YEARS LATER- THE ERROR AND FAILURE IS NOW OBVIOUS .

The Terminus project of & Campaign co-founder Sho Baraka seems disturbingly similar to the Atlanta based  anarchist group “Capitol Terminus Collective ” but with a faith based focus twist .

THE TERMINUS  NAME HAS HISTORY IN ATLANTA ANARCHIST POLITICS

It is unclear where Perimeter church leaders and Randy Pope got the name for their in house Terminus Collective but it is VERY CLEAR where it has landed them.

WHERE DOES IT ALL LEAVE THE CHURCHES WHO SUBSCRIBE TO THE KELLER /POPE/ WARREN/ DRUCKER /COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT VISION?

FOR NOW THE MOST OBVIOUS PLACE IS IN THE POCKET OF THE OBAMA FOUNDATION FAITH OPERATIVE AND THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

PCA people who support Tim Keller and Randy Pope and others in their denomination plus the multitudes of Baptist who follow Rick Warrens “Purpose Driven ” models -have no idea where it all came from. These leaders are taking the church into a massive vortex of social justice and socialist economics while telling them it is the vision of the future for the ministry of the Gospel . If your church is driving “Community Development “and economic justice – then you are being deceived  INTO FUNDING MUCH OF IT WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IT .

EVEN LESS  OBVIOUS HAS BEEN  SLIGHT OF HAND BY WHICH THE GOSPEL COALITION AND ITS ILK HAVE TURNED THE NEXT GENERATION BELIEVERS INTO SOLID SOCIAL JUSTICE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS IN THE PROCESS.

IT IS VERY DISTURBING TO SEE THE END GAME ….IF YOU WERE PAYING ATTENTION .
