Recently this site reported on Tim Keller having joined in the liberal political organization called The & Campaign as an “Elder” board member. In a matter of days Keller’s name and image disappeared from the & Campaign website.

The entire website has now been revamped and does not include Tim Keller’s name or image. Still his associations with & Campaign remain on many levels. Clearly Keller realized that open association as leadership with & Campaign during the current closing days of the 2020 election proved a bridge too far -even for Keller. The PCA is currently attempting a fatal ” regroup” after its recent split in part due to Keller’s compromise on LGBTQ issues.

The Criminal Justice System

Karen Swallow Prior likes to be controversial and to inject herself into the controversies of others in the Baptist world. Like a sort of evangelical Paris Hilton “Notorious KSP” (as she refers to herself on Twitter) is an “A list CELEBRITY ” who always seems to get invited to the party when there is a conservative Baptist’s BLOOD in the water. She led the protest and petition against Baptist icon Paige Patterson who stood accused at the height of the #MeToo movement. Now she stands as vocal and “insightful” critic calling for the total removal and cancellation of her former Liberty University boss Jerry Falwell Jr. Guilty or not, Prior enjoys the position of public opinion judge, jury and executioner for Baptist accused of wrongdoing.

(From her SEBTS bio ” Prior and her husband, Roy, are members of Thomas Road Baptist Church.” – Karen seemed to have been very comfortably entrenched for decades in the Falwell legacy before becoming one of it’s most outspoken critics. )

Attending such festivals does indicate a very high likelihood that she is viewing scenes of gay porn while celebrating the producers of it. Such selective outrage which exempts the obvious problems with gay culture while voicing opposition to the sexual sins of other Christians is common place in the efforts of Dr Prior.

In 2019 the SBC ,with the help of Russell Moore and ERLC fellows like Karen Swallow Prior took a “Credentials Committee” designed for their annual Convention meetings and “Repurposed ” it as a standing “Committee” with investigative powers for complaints of sexual abuse and issues related to racial discrimination and mishandling /mistreatment of homosexual related issues.The Committee has the power to investigate and sanction and even strip credentials from SBC churches. They can also step into the ordination process of individual Baptist churches against the historic localized controls of the cooperating churches in the SBC. The Repurposed Credentials Committee was a so called “response to the #MeToo movement, aHuston Chronicle report series on sex abuse cover ups in the SBC and revelations” related to the Paige Patterson removal at SWBTS of which Prior was a key media player. Many problems exist and are even reported about by secular press like Inside Higher Ed coverage of former SWBTS professor Dr Robert Oscar Lopez.

Dr. Lopez who has advocated for and written multiple SBC statements for approval as “Resolutions” to address such issues as ex gay therapy and whistle blower protections has also worked to bring attention to the lack of SBC and the newly repurposed Committee to same sex related abuse which exist in both the Houston Chronicle investigations and is given a total pass in the SBC/ ERLC efforts to address abuse and to which they, Russell Moore and Karen Swallow Prior appear always willing to turn a blind eye.

Yet the Committee now represents far reaching centralized powers, which when politicized and abused, can carry out “search and destroy” missions on iconic figures like Patterson and the Falwell’s and Liberty with it’s reported $2 plus billion dollar endowment. To the victor go to the spoils. Now Notorious KSP is listed among the leaders of a new Alliance in Christian education located at SWBTS. This appears to be a pattern the outcomes of which are yet to be played out at Liberty once Jerry Jr is fully flushed out of power. THE BAPTIST #METOO WATCHDOG COMMISSION IS COMPRISED OF A SELECT GROUP OF SBC LEADERS ,FEMALES, JOURNALIST AND OTHERS WHO AWAIT THE NEXT MALE OFFENDERS STORY TO BREAK THEN POUNCE ON IT AND BEAT THE DRUM FOR VICTIMS.

The problem is the political and progressive DNA of the Repurposed Credentials Committee and it’s circle of players like Prior have already proven problematic as they ignore the reality of Same Sex Abuses and the reports of abuse in general which occur among “insiders” from their own SBC networks.

The effort REEKS OF INSINCERITY and provides no real service to the Gospel or the purity of the church in a challenging culture. The mantra of Moore “It’s a Gospel issue” has been used to the point of abuse as the much admonished “civility” and “winsome” tone called for by Moore in his ERLC narrative -always seems to vanish when the next Baptist offender, guilty or not, is identified for targeting and destruction.The call for repentance, mercy and redemptive grace goes out the window when the Spirit of Jezebel warned about in Revelation 2:20 in the church of Thyatira.

Note this writer is not calling KSP the Jezebel the OT queen from I Kings and whose New Testament manifestation is warned of in Revelation 2:18-23. But this writer is pointing out Prior’s willingness on one had to seduce conservative Christians toward Revoice and other pro LGBTQ advocates while assuming the prophetic role decrying leaders whose sins she deems intolerable and outrageous. In 2010 this researcher discovered the tip of the proverbial iceberg related to outside money influencing ever deepening compromise among Christian leaders. Starting with the broadening of Faith Based Partnerships allowing federal tax dollars to be pumped into the denominations, missions organizations, churches, and local outreach ministries, the groundswell of funding has yet to crest as the evidence of it’s damaging impact becomes ever more undeniable.

TAX MONEY IN CHURCHES -BAD IDEA ESPECIALLY COME ELECTION TIME.

After over a decade of the untraceable billions in tax dollars for FBP- the Covid -19 response flooded yet another $7.3 billion in public funds into churches. For most people the problems these issues represent needs no commentary.

We move on.

By 2013 the wave of Social Justice false gospel was in full swing in conservative evangelical institutions like denominational missions organizations, universities, colleges and  seminaries. This information is detailed in the Thirty Pieces of Silver article “Is This The Evangelical Deep State? -parts one and two.

Now fast forward:

In the original expose’ it was documented that Kern Family Foundation ( KFF) and the Acton Institute had driven a “New Evangelical Social Engagement ” which was boasted about in the book by the same name. It also showed the “Social Justice” economics movement around which the curriculum and narrative is based, was in at least 13 major seminaries by that time. KFF confirmed the presence via email in at least 7 Christian universities as well.

 GOING OFF SHORE?

By 2014 it was confirmed in local Wisconsin (home  of KFF) media outlet that KFF was among the first American foundations to go off shore with part of its operations. Another justice driven and transformative funding source for evangelical leaders and organizations, the Templeton Foundation,reportedly followed Kern off shore to the Cayman Islands. Templeton is  a major funding organization for the work of left “justice ” leaning evangelicals like Tim Keller ,

NOTE: There is no tax incentive for a non profit philanthropic organization to go off shore. NONE. Unlike American and other corporations and wealthy individuals who use off shore accounts to shelter earnings and wealth from domestic taxation, a non profit DOES NOT NEED A TAX SHELTER.

WHY go off shore except to hide additional funding using the KFF as a “pass through”,? This practice was made popular by Soros led and funded organization and foundations to HIDE the dark source of funding coming in – going through and out of related organizations in the Soros activist philanthropy. If this is not what KFF and others are doing then they should explain their decision and open their book totally to the Christians whose denominations and institutions they are influencing. Now is a good time to start.

NOTE ALSO : One of the primary influences welcoming the KFF funding into Seminaries and Christian ministries is The Gospel Coalition. By 2014 TGC had one of its more popular Social Justice speakers and leaders living and serving as a pastor in the Cayman Islands. This is the same time frame in which KFF and Acton Institute boosted  efforts on the American Christian College/ University and Seminary campuses to fund “The New Evangelical Social ( Justice) Engagement.  QUESTION -What other accounts exist that might provide opportunity for need of management in the Cayman Islands ? This is not an accusation but a question that continues to arise given the choice to operate heavily influential philanthropic organizations outside the country and the view of those impacted by them.

KFF President James Rhan  works on the Board of the Charter Schools Growth Fund  along side Allan Golston, president of the United States Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation . Charter schools are problematic on multiple levels mixing public and private funding and are popular with the LGBTQ and Islamic education lobby groups. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is also flooding evangelical world with their global agenda driven $$$. CONCLUSION

The Kern Family Foundation funding is not the only problematic funding coming into the evangelical institutions, ministries, denominational structures and ministries but it is one of the most commonly found. The connection to the KFF programs and curriculum and the “social justice” shift in focus in conservative seminaries is undeniable. Other funding organizations with global and justice /common ground for common good/ human flourishing  narratives have become all too common place among our institutions. Many other disturbing and agenda driven funding sources exist in addition to KFF grants. These others include Faith Based Partnership,  John Templeton Foundation which funds “religious” work among those who seek to wed science and faith and subscribe to no sacred text”.Also we find the funding of George Soros, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (Gates  is at the epicenter of the Pandemic and Vaccine Industries and is VERY CLOSE  partnership with evangelicals like Rick Warren, Francis Collins of Bio Logos and with funding organizations like “The Gathering” ). Pro LGBTQ activist billionaire Paul Singer is buying up evangelical “real estate ” in the form of & Campaign  National Immigration Forum and and many TGC leaders. The National Christian Foundation near Atlanta Georgia is another organization supporting organizations buying into FBP funds by providing additional support which has exploded from $1 billion over 24 years to over a $ billion and 1/2 per year since around 2010.

Virtually no public accounting of the problems associated with these grants is made by many of the recipients of these funds. Little or no availability of where massive “pass through ” funding is coming from in organizations whose operations make them perfect gathering places for multiple unseen donors. In the case of KFF and Templeton- being willing and able to operate “off shore” makes these issues of even greater concern.

One day when the history of modern Christianity in America is written -the foot note is likely to read: ” Many committed Christians and organizations withstood the liberal theology and left wing politics of the times until eventually most if not all resistance gave way to the allure of big easy money with deadly strings and agendas attached”.
