Many Conservative baptist were shocked and disappointed to see Charlie Kirk platformed at the Conservative Baptist Network (CBN) event at the annual Southern Baptist Convention in Anaheim CA this June. The series of events included such “luminaries” as John MacArthur,Voddie Baucham , and Founders President Tom Ascol just prior to his failed bid for the Southern Baptist Presidency.
It is not YET known who invited Kirk to speak but the CBN movement was no doubt tainted by the Kirk appearance and its efforts to move into positions of power in the leftward descending Baptist movement failed throughout the Convention and conservative Baptist emerged confused and disoriented by a radically pro LGBTQ Libertarian political operative being chosen to speak to Conservative Baptist Pastors.

THE TIMING HERE IS OVERT AND OBVIOUS- THE DECEPTION-NOT SO MUCH
TPUSA- Faith set up its social media pages between May 22nd and May 26th 2022 .(Prior to this launch TPUSA Faith was appearing as a # hashtag on social media as the movement gathered steam among churches as far back as August 2021 ) Turning Point USA Faith went from a branding trial to a full blown launch in May. Then during the SBC annual meetings- while Charlie kirk was in attendance and spoke at CBNs breakfast – TPUSA Faith announced TPUSA Faith Pastors Summit on June 16th 2022.

Bill Montgomery started the pro-Trump student group along with Charlie Kirk, its current leader. Turning Point USA lists its priorities as “fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government.” THESE ARE LIBERTARIAN not conservative or conservative Christian ideals. Nor are Kirk/ TPUSA positions of inclusion of sexual liberty activist in the pro family conservative Christian movement.

CONCLUSION
Where is this all going -What is happening -Why are conservatives who know better attempting to build the future of Conservatism with Libertarians and secure the pro family movement with pro LGBTQ inclusion? An even better and more pointed question is -How can Conservative Christian leaders /pastors think to secure the kind of repentant and Holy Spirit empowered movement to spare the church from divine judgement and cultural rejection for its utter hypocrisy but furthering its entrenchment in the same forces currently destroying the church and unraveling the culture?
As to the WHY? There are no DOUBT millions if not billions up for grabs in these unsavory associations and organizations.
Both of these mingled kingdoms are doomed to fail.
Too BAD for true Conservatives and true Christians who once were the backbone of the American “experiment”.
