Article 2 General objective “The objective of this Agreement is to ensure the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction, for the present and in the long term, through effective implementation of the relevant provisions of the Convention and further international cooperation and coordination.” Article 3 Application “This Agreement applies to areas beyond national jurisdiction.” Article 3 bis Sovereign immunity “This Agreement does not apply to any warship, military aircraft or naval auxiliary. Except for Part II, this Agreement does not apply to other vessels or aircraft owned or operated by a Party and used, for the time being, only on government non – commercial service. However, each Party shall ensure, by the adoption of appropriate measures not impairing the operations or operational capabilities of such vessels or aircraft owned or operated by it, that such vessels or aircraft act in a manner consistent, so far as is reasonable and practicable, with this Agreement.”

HOW IS THE CHURCH -WHICH IS CALLED OUT -CALLED TO “REDEEM BABEL” ?
God called Abram OUT of the idolatrous Babylonian world around him and Israel OUT of Egypt to “serve Him ” apart from the corruption and idols around them. God used men like Joseph and Daniel to preserve His people in the midst of worldly systems BUT NOT to redeem those fallen systems. The Gospel call has not changed. Jesus called the disciples out -to FOLLOW HIM . As the judgements of the final day on the corrupt systems of Babel unfold in Revelation 18 -God again pauses and calls His people OUT.
Before reading further keep in mind that the very meaning of the word Ekklesia as the church is a calling OUT in order to be separated to God . God’s people are His peculiar possession loyal only to Him in a world that remains under the sway of the wicked one and in the ongoing rebellion of Genesis 11. The disunity the World experiences is in large part because of its rebellion against and defiance of God. The Church does not reconcile the world to God by joining in alliance with, adopting its values, seeking to appease its standards and norms and to “redeem” “it. The truly redeemed have been called OUT of this darkness and into the Kingdom of LIGHT- the kingdom of His dear SON. The Christians citizenship is in heaven and his/her place in this world is as salt and light and as a witness to the redemption of God for lost souls. God is not “Redeeming Babel ” nor is he calling His people to do so. Third Way political rhetoric and socialist ideologies, economics, and strategies would never be God’s way nor have they ever worked to preserve of redeem any culture of society. To think so is to be deceived. To teach Christians thus is a grand deception.

“What is negative partisanship? Negative partisanship is an affiliation with your partisan political tribe, not because you necessarily love it or the ideas that it espouses, but because you hate or fear the other side.”
“So it’s rooted in a deeply negative emotion. And this is an extraordinarily powerful influence right now in the United States of America. How powerful is it? If you go and look at some of the research done by a group called More in Common, which has looked at what is called the hidden tribes of American life, it looks at the people who are most animated by the strongest partisan motivations. They have incredibly, profoundly negative views of the other side. Very negative views: 89%, for example, of devoted conservatives who are disproportionately Christian viewed every Democrat as brainwashed. That’s just one statistic of many.”

Redeeming Babel must have missed that Babel is clearly condemned to fall and NOT BE REDEEMED in the Scripture and the organization seems to have fallen in with the “Good Faith”/ Common Ground / Civil Society narratives that have been falling flat for years on both sides of the political divide which they seem to think THEY can BRIDGE with the same failed technologies and ideologies.

It is difficult to watch what has happened to the church in America so far this century. It is most difficult as a Christian and as a minister and as anyone who carries a heart burden for the church, its members in particular and for the fulfilling of the TRUE mission of the church which is THE GREAT COMMISSION. People need the Lord -therefore they need to hear a pure-powerful and ATONEMENT based Gospel.They need a refuge -a place of worship- of fellowship- or discipling -…a House of Prayer for all .
But as Jesus chased out the money changers and rebuked those making His Fathers House a “house of merchandise ” and a His “House of Prayer” into a “Den of Thieves” so it is today. A house cleaning is in order.
A PARABLE OF THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST AT THE GATES OF HELL: WHAT FOUNDATION HAVE THEY BUILT UPON?
Jesus makes clear the GATES of HELL will not stand against His Church -BUT no promises have been made to those who depart from His foundation to build their own kingdoms. In the case of the current leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention -these people have elected to rebuild the TOWER of BABEL by following global cultural and political trends and call it the church.
The point in specific is SBC leadership and its Executive Committee have gotten on board with the #metoo / #churchtoo movement of anger driven feminist theology which hates the ATONEMENT- forgiveness and ALL the Gospel offers. These leaders have hired one of the nation’s largest corporate Diversity -Equity – Inclusion consultants and “abuse investigation ” firms named Guidepost Solutions -and gone gunning for abusers and those they deem “credibly accused” of abuse.
THE RIDE ALONG FOR THE DRIVE BY
LIKE THE CHAIN GANG ESCAPEES HITCHING A RIDE WITH BABY FACE NELSON FRESH OFF A BANK JOB AND BEING PURSUED BY THE LAW-SBC LEADERS IN 2018 HITCHED A RIDE WITH THE #CHURCHTOO MOVEMENT. ( From O’Brother Where Art Thou” the 2000 Coen Brothers film)

“Three convicts, Ulysses Everett McGill, Delmar O’Donnell and Pete escape from a CHAIN GANG and set out to retrieve a treasure buried by Everett before the area is flooded to make a lake. The three fail to get on a train before getting a lift from a blind man driving a handcar He tells them they will find a fortune, but not the one they seek.”
It is the Depression Era – much like the state of the SBC and church at present. Everett is our unnamed visionary leader(s) in the SBC who has /have long sold his/ their vision casting to the highest bidder. Delmar and Pete are the foolish fellow escapees who simple mindedly go along for the adventure not thinking through the outcomes of this “search for treasure” or what is about to be lost. While on lam from the law ( their accountability to God ) and walking along a dike ( keep in mind the coming flood -like divine judgement and the loss of any hope for finding the true treasure. ) they see a fast approaching vehicle. Time is of the essence so they hitch a ride. The vehicle is the “get away car” of famed bank robber Baby Face Nelson. This fast and recklessly driven car is the #churchtoo movement .The driver is Feminist theology on its own mission to take aim at … well the very boys who just got onboard and their visions of treasure. Worse yet the driver HATES the core of Baptist theology of ATONEMENT and FORGIVENESS around which its past ,present and future hopes rest. These Baptist leaders have become like wandering vagabonds who have long forgotten their foundations and the calling they profess to possess.
MONEY MONEY MONEY
As the car speeds along with its new passengers – the ill gotten proceeds of past raids have “come unstowed ” and MONEY IS FLYING EVERYWHERE. Suddenly the good ole boys from the chain gang realize they are in a ride along with a criminal who has his own treasuring seeking agenda and in a shootout with the law. They also a flood is coming- as they too are being pursued by justice for their own crimes. Meanwhile the high speed at which this vehicle is moving poses many dangers in itself as Mr Nelson goes about the business of taking aim at his targets….leaving his passengers to figure out that they are not in control and finally begin questioning what they have just gotten THEMSELVES into.
THE SBCs FAILURE
The SBC has been in the firm grips of feminist theology promoting the #ChurchToo movement against its members, pastors and churches since 2018. The media and SBC insiders have helped move the SBC into the hands of Guidepost Solutions -an abuse “investigative firm” and DE&I compliance consultant. Joining the effort is a group of survivors – some very real and very sad and sadly used by a larger agenda. Also there are some perhaps who are not victims BUT time will reveal that. The survivors, though featured up front, are not the focus of feminist theology and its taking aim at the church in America.The survivors are part of the victim coalition building & merely the excuse used by the sirens in this sad retelling of a classic tale. The extended cruise is even more perilous than the ride along.
JEZEBEL IS ON THE MOVE AND KILLS PROPHETS : OR DID THEY FORGET ?
While charmed by the sirens song and promised treasure SBC leaders in the Executive Committee have given up their ATTORNEY /CLIENT PRIVILEGE- Lost the law firm which had represented them for over 2 generations /some 68 or so years. Now filling that void there are some 7 or 8 other law firms and a PR firm representing Guidepost who ALL subscribe to DE&I values internally and promote compliance to these metrics in their clients.
All this and more came to bear on the SBC this past week when the SBC Executive Committee met with its full trustee board to report on the state of the SBC , do regular business and to make ready for the coming June Convention
THE APPEARANCE OF A COURSE CORRECTION
On the one hand the EC disfellowshipped the Saddleback Church (one of two churches disfellowshipped ) founded by famed Baptist /Drucker Disciple Rick Warren. Warren had been pushing boundaries for several years by ordaining women as pastors and appointed a successor who are his and her “pastors”. So the headlines looked like the SBC EC are holding the line on the Baptist Faith and Message on the Role of Women in the Church . Good right?
Not so fast because in the same meetings the EC signed up for YET ANOTHER ride along with the Feminist Theologians driving the #churchtoo movement. The EC has agreed for the feminist theology driven machine to compile and operate a DATA BASE of Baptist they AGAIN ” deem credibly accused” of sexual abuse. Continue to keep in mind the Feminist theological systems HATE biblical ATONEMENT -demand justice and retribution and pounds upon pounds of flesh from abusers. It loathes orthodox biblical male /female roles in the church and the home – despises the nuclear family calling it an IDOL and it operates out of critical theories like gender theory- feminist theory and queer theory birthed from Cultural Marxist verbal revolutionaries. Feminism and its theology always carries racial and sexual minorities in its big tent and does not end with a single Gospel driven REDEMPTIVE outcome. Why ? Because it is not Gospel driven at all…and that is ALL by design. It is anti gospel.
“THERE’S NO TELLIN WHERE THE MONEY WENT “
Meanwhile a report on a financial audit ordered last year for 2021 REVEALED something the Executive Committee tried to shuffle past even while reporting to their own trustees.
NOTE THE NUMBERS :
The SBC Executive Committee 2021 Financial Audit Report revealed that the SBC EC is on an “Unsustainable”path financially- that “changes will have to be made” that “EVERYTHING is on the table”. After several relentless trustee inquiries EC spokespersons revealed that they have lost HALF of their assets from $12 million down to $6 million in 2021 alone. Nothing has yet been revealed about 2022 numbers . There was plenty of grandstanding about other giving while never any mention of outside sources of income. Long and short of it -the Executive Committee had to admit THEY ARE GOING BANKRUPT .
Though these problems stem from their ride along with the #churchtoo fast and reckless movement- the SBC EC has decided to go for another ride and let these forces run their database for sex abusers thus allowing them reach into all Baptist life and entities AND into the local church. The very feminist theology driven forces which hate the very core of Baptist life and theology and are taking aim at the heart of the church in America are NOW the “Gatekeepers” and accountability partners” for Southern Baptist. Insane ? Yes absolutely.
Ignorance is to blame with some who are along for the ride But for others behind the efforts to attach the future of the Church to this movement there a is a clear willingness to sell out of the household of faith . They are also saying yes at the highest COST possible – the loss of the Gospel hope in the Atonement. It is the one true treasure they actually have to offer fallen humanity INCLUDING VICTIMS OF ABUSE. They have exchanged the glory of God for that which does not profit and their own birthrights for a bowl of stew.
THIS TIME THE GATES OF HELL WILL WIN -WHY ?
The institutional church plae in American culture is likely done. Short of a massive move of the Holy Spirit to bring about deep repentance and judgement starting at the house of God bringing in a massive house cleaning – the SBC is DONE. And it has been done in at its own leaders hands.
As the Serpent beguiled Eve and then she gave to her husband and brought about the Fall of Mankind -so once again the enemy has persuaded them that they can reject the commandment of God and their identity as His image bearers and strike out on their own becoming “like God”. The best weapons the serpent has ever had is to slither in between these GOD ordained partners given full fellowship with God and suggest “Hath God said…?” Once men and women of God move out of God’s light and seek their own truth – they are done building their lives on God’s foundation and promises. Paul, when instructing about the roles of men and women in Ephesians, pointed out that he was speaking “a great mystery” which is that their roles serve as types of the relationship between Christ and the Church. That fail is a massive loss to couples and to the church.The same is true of the SBC and other Christian movements. Jesus has made no obligation to preserve that which is built on other foundations. In fact he has promised to uproot and shake it until it falls. HELL HAS ENLARGED ITS BORDERS .

Hear the Heavenly Voice

O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU GOING FROM HERE ?
After the FALL- the complicit and willingly ignorant SBC leaders who are still standing likely hope to find new jobs in the “Pappy O’Daniel Brain Trust” given their history of faith based partnerships. That may happen in the short term but the long term outcomes will not be so comfortable given their accountability to the one who called them to serve His house.
THE BAPTIST TALE OF WRONG FOUNDATIONS/DECONSTRUCTING THEIR OWN HOUSE .
The SBC movement is a convention of autonomous churches in cooperation called the Southern Baptist Convention. At one time there were over 16 million people and over 47,000 churches in the SBC. Today actual Sunday morning services of regular attenders, according to Baptist research organization Lifeway Research, is about 3.6 million (down from @5 million less than a decade ago.) So the SBC is in STEEP decline from what are largely self inflicted wounds.

THE AGE OLD MOVEMENT KILLER OF “THE SOCIAL GOSPEL”. TODAY IT IS CALLED “SOCIAL JUSTICE” AND DIVERSITY, EQUITY ,INCLUSION & BELONGING.
FAITH BASED PARTNERSHIPS WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE SECTOR ENTITIES TURN THE SBC AND THE CHURCH INTO A COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZERS AND VOLUNTEER BASES DELIVERING JUSTICE DRIVEN SOCIAL SERVICES/ WELFARE/ HEALTHCARE /HOUSING / DISASTER RELIEF/ REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT / FIGHTING CLIMATE CHANGE AND AN ENDLESS STRING OF CALLS TO DUTY IN REDISTRIBUTION AND ADDRESSING INEQUITIES. ( Note it is this false foundation which has the SBC and many churches compelled to comply with DE&I. PLUS the churches and ministries took some $7.3 billion in the the first round of Covid Pandemic bailouts so it is time to pay up and time to comply.

When the ship is sinking the only hope is to abandon ship and swim for a lifeboat or floating debris. In the case of the current frigid culture “survivors” have virtually no chance of lasting for long unless they find refuge. Of course it is customary for captains to go down with the ship after doing all they can to save passengers.But it is not likely such nobel actions will be observed by current leadership. So if you are headed for a lifeboat- make way -the SBC leaders who ran the Ship into the rocky shores of #churchtoo likely will plan to be the first to abandon ship.
But Jesus will have a day of reckoning awaiting them…if not now- someday soon.
The entire tale of error and loss reminds one of the ill fated journey of those taking Paul to Rome for trial after he had appealed his case to Caesar. Warnings unheeded- shipwreck is certain .

Nothing says FAILURE to maintain an ETERNAL perspective and Gospel focus like aligning with the mainstream of trending culture in order to make your ministry or movement more popular and “in step”. Yet what is lost in the process is beyond value and often beyond recovery.

While AI tools do have the potential to improve diversity and inclusion, that power comes not from AI itself but rather from their creators. Current AI is not capable of abstract reasoning, nor can it predict the impacts of major change, necessitating human creators who understand why a current system may be problematic – and how AI might improve it. Similarly, the problematic impacts of AI on diversity and inclusion stem not only from issues related to data and algorithm design, but also from their creators misreading and oversimplifying social systems – and not anticipating unintended consequences.”

“New Calvinism is a movement that is sweeping across the Church in the USA and moving to the UK, and into other countries around the world. Many Christians may not be familiar with the term, and so my task in two talks, is to explain the phenomenon of New Calvinism, a movement that claims to be behind a resurgence of the reformed teachings of John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon and Jonathan Edwards. Led by some of the biggest names in the evangelical world, New Calvinism gives the appearance of doctrinal soundness. But on closer examination, we see a different picture. We see a movement that is bringing the world into the church—a movement that puts no difference between the holy and the profane. I hope to demonstrate that the problem of New Calvinism lies in both doctrine and conduct.”
New Calvinism, despite its claims of being a resurgence of the Reformed doctrines of Calvin, is doctrinally shallow. Its message of salvation, while may at times be technically correct, is delivered in a way that lacks conviction; that seldom mentions the awful offence of sin and the need for genuine repentance unto salvation that leads to new life in Christ. New Calvinism’s teaching on sanctification is deficient. It downplays the need for holy living, while emphasising the freedom, pleasures and benefits of the Christian life.
2) Loves the things of the world
New Calvinism has brought the ways and thinking of the world into the church. It does not usually separate from the attitude, desires and things of the world. New Calvinism is given over to the desires and thinking of the flesh. It is deeply committed to contemporary worship and the holy hip-hop scene. In matters of dress, language and entertainment, New Calvinism accepts and follows the way of the world.
3) Profoundly ecumenical
New Calvinism is a broad tent that embraces all shades of doctrine. Assent to the apostle’s creed is all that is required for one to be accepted as a Christian. This means New Calvinism is sympathetic to Roman Catholicism. Its inclusive attitude readily accepts charismatic and emerging church errors. The pursuit of false ecclesiastical unity is the cardinal error of New Calvinism that leads to all manner of compromise. New Calvinists refuse to separate from unsound doctrine, and even the most extremely forms of false teaching. Many form spiritual alliances that are about pragmatic advantage, rather than about the proclaiming the true gospel. Like the New Evangelical, so the New Calvinist, do not practice separation from those manifestly in error, and thus violate Scriptural principles as stated in 2 Cor. 6:14-18.
4) Social activism
New Calvinism adds the social gospel to the gospel of salvation. It believes that a central aspect of the gospel is an attitude of social activism that aims to redeem culture and save the world. It promotes social programs to care for the poor, and the human rights agenda to improve social justice.”
5) Low view of Scripture
“New Calvinism has moved beyond the inerrancy of Scripture debate, for its approach to Scripture is characterised by irreverence and flippancy. Some in the New Calvinist camp even use the Bible as a source of good comedy. The lyrics of rap artists are regarded as being profoundly doctrinal, able to teach the church how the Word of God should be preached. Scripture is contextualised to make the gospel world view sensitive and acceptable to the latest cultural trends in society. Jesus must be presented as the answer to the questions the culture is asking.”
“New Calvinism is a movement that is characterised by flippancy to holy things. It has no fear of God; it puts no difference between the holy and the profane. Puritan Thomas Watson gave this advice: “Take heed whom you listen to! It is our dear Saviour’s counsel, ‘Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves’ (Matthew 7:15). Let me tell you, the Devil has his ministers – as well as Christ. There are some, who by the subtlety of their wit have learned the art of mixing error with truth, and to give poison in a golden cup.”

This past week controversy arose over the MANY HATS that victims advocate Rachael Denhollander is currently WEARING in the ongoing SBC “Sex Abuse ” controversy, investigation and media circus. It seems that not only has Mrs. Denhollander been working for many Southern Baptist entities like The ERLC ( under Mohler protege’ Russell Moore at the time) but also for the Executive Committee, SBTS itself, various other entities like Lifeway (where one of the featured victims has worked as an executive) AND is now reported to be ACTUALLY running the SBC abuse HOTLINE.
O Yes and she works with the independent investigative firm Guidepost Solutions directly and with the various “Task Forces” which the SBC have established to coordinate the investigation and “implement ” its new policies.
MOHLER AND ACTIVISM IN THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION
Albert Mohler and his SBTS are deeply tied to the leading activist the SBC related to Racial issues, the use of Critical Race Theory , Intersectionality , The LGBTQ Thriving Revoice movment in the SBC and PCA. AND more recently it has come to light that Mohler has had a longstanding connection with the leading couple in sex abuse /#metoo/ #churchtoo JUSTICE advocacy.
SOME HISTORY OF SBTS KEY ACTIVIST :
1ST -Russell Moore who accused the SBC of rampant racism , sex abuse and the existence of a massive coverup of the above in the SBC,Accusations came via leaked letters leading to the current investigation and abuse crisis.Moore IS the most famed or infamous of Mohler’s proteges’ . Moore was educated, employed and in leadership at SBTS for more than 2 decades. Moore also helped launch the CRT filled MLK/50 event in April 2018 where he accused Southern Baptist of “worshipping Jim Crow”as Jesus.
2ND -Once CRT and Intersectionality were being mainstreamed as “useful tools with the Gospel” in the Southern Baptist it was Mohler who worked directly with his in house SBTS CRT activist on RACE to drive a program called “Removing of the Stain of Racism from the SBC”. Those SBTS trained and employed activist included Curtis Wood, Matt Hall & Jarvis Williams. These same resident SBTS activist were part of the 2017 SBTS racial history investigation and purge as well as the 2019 Resolutions Committee who altered a submitted resolution ( # 9) to condemn CRT and Intersectionality in the SBC into an affirmation of CRT and Intersectionality.

3RD – Nate Collins founder of Revoice LGBTQ Thriving in the SBC ( which ALSO DEEPLY IMPACTED THE PCA) was a student, a Garrett Fellow AND taught New Testament at SBTS. Collins resided at SBTS for a period of 14 1/2 years obtaining 2 degrees and asserting in his dissertation for SBTS that the use of “Virgin ” proves the existence of a “third gender identification ” in the New Testament. Collin’s SBTS academic studies and papers and his book “All But Invisible” centered around Feminine,Gender and Queer Theories and Feminist Theology. Revoice is a movement in intersectionality “at the intersection of faith and sexuality”. Collins also presented some of his SBTS sexuality papers at ETS.
4TH- Deeply concerning is the decade PLUS history of Jacob and Rachael Denhollander at Albert Mohler’s SBTS and the ongoing efforts of the “Sex Abuse / #churchtoo scandals to force investigations, lawsuits, the coalition of victims, settlements AND to enforce compliance of Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the nations largest Protestant Denomination the Southern Baptist Convention. As the reader can determine below the use of,Jacob Denhollanders SBTS academic career and academic focus look to have been used to furthered the cause of the #churchtoo in the SBC. THE ISSUE OF ABUSE IN THE CHURCH
QUESTIONS TO PONDER- Is the use of the “5 star general” who assembled an “Army of the Abused ” in the Nassar case- now heading the same KIND of effort among Southern Baptist? If so, as it appears, is this being done right out of its Flagship Seminary SBTS?Could this reality be just a matter of happenstance? Can Baptist assume that these associations JUST SO HAPPENED to develop and become weaponized against the church in the same way the Nassar case developed- by some of the same people- all within Albert Mohler’s SBTS circles?
VALID ABUSE AND COVERUPS
There is no doubt the church has had a history of both abuse and problems with how abuse is handled. Yet evidence is compelling that something more was going on -at least in the Southern Baptist sudden visitation of the issue in a highly publicised and ongoing controversy filled with accusations of coverup, corruption and collusion.
But COMPELLING and disturbing appearance EXIST of some high level COLLUDING of a different sort- at the flagship SBC seminary.

Jacobs published academic papers at SBTS date back to at least 2015 confirming that his work at SBTS has been focuses on abuse and reconciling things like “Feminist Theology ” and its hatred of the atonement with the Gospel. His other public academic studies appear to have been focused on Abuse as well. So since a least 2015 – WHILE the Nassar case was being prosecuted and Rachael Denhollander has played a major role developing that case and become known as “a five star general” – “assembling and army of victims” She and her husband have been at Albert Mohler’s SBTS seminary focusing on Sex Abuse from a theological framework.
As manager of the SBC Hotline for Guidepost Solutions and working directly with multiple other SBC entities in multiple capacities “The General ” not only looks to be wearing too many hats but positioned to assemble a new army for the assault on the Southern Baptist Convedntion.
The history of Feminist Theology is Anti- Gospel and Anti- Family and Anti- conventional Conservative Theology . It is certainly against the Baptist Faith and Message. Feminists theologians INSIST that theology has been developed not just by males, but by males within a patriarchal culture in a patriarchal church which is rife with systemic abuse of women by men who subordinate and exploit them.
Feminist Theology resist the use of male pronouns for God – Assaults the role of women in the home and the biblical call for women to submit to their husbands. Feminist theology calls the Nuclear Family and IDOL which must be taken down and replaced. Feminine Theology seeks to subvert and usurp the role of men in leadership which is specifically counter to the Apostle Paul’s inspired instructions for family and church life.
Feminist Theology seeks to deconstruct ALL Biblical concepts of family and church and leadership -promotes the demands for all churches to ordain women in senior leadership and EVEN goes so far as to attempt to feminize God.
THE PROBLEMS WITH THESE ASSERTIONS AND ASSUMPTIONS VS THE GOSPEL OF REPENTANCE AND FORGIVENESS ARE GLARING AND LEGION.
Yet at SBTS Jacob Denhollander appears to have been commissioned or allowed to dedicate his academic pursuits and papers, obtaining his degrees, to erasing or merging the polar opposites of feminist theology and the Gospel /Good News and the Great Commission which once was said to occupied Southern Baptist life and ministry.

In her statement concerning the sentencing of Dr. Nassar, she not only spoke eloquently from the deep reservoirs of a Christian worldview, but she spoke directly to the doctor with the power of the Christian gospel. The words of this young woman bear our close attention. The doctor as he was being sentenced was carrying a Bible visibly. That was considered by many of the victims to be manipulative with the doctor effectively using the Bible as a prop in order to engender sympathy during his sentencing hearing. But Mrs. Denhollander pointed to the Bible that Dr. Nassar had, and then she said bravely,”
“If you have read the Bible you carry, you know the definition of sacrificial love portrayed is of God himself loving so sacrificially that he gave up everything to pay a penalty for the sin he did not commit. By his grace, I, too, choose to love this way.”

“Larry, I can call what you did evil and wicked because it was. And I know it was evil and wicked because the straight line exists. The straight line is not measured based on your perception or anyone else’s perception, and this means I can speak the truth about my abuse without minimization or mitigation. Because when a person loses the ability to define good and evil, when they cannot define evil, they can no longer define and enjoy what is truly good. When a person can harm another human being, especially a child, without true guilt, they have lost the ability to truly love.”

“Larry, you have shut yourself off from every truly beautiful and good thing in this world that could have and should have brought you joy and fulfillment, and I pity you for it. You could have had everything you pretended to be. Every woman who stood up here truly loved you as an innocent child, real genuine love for you, and it did not satisfy.”
“Then addressing the judge Mrs. Denhollander said,”
“I ask that you hand down a sentence that tells us that what was done to us matters, that we are known, we are worth everything, worth the greatest protection the law can offer, the greatest measure of justice available.”
She then asked the question,

“Then addressing the first of those young women to speak up Rachel Denhollander, the judge said,”
“You started the tidal wave. You made all of this happen. You made all of these voices matter. Your sister survivors and I thank you. You are the bravest person I have ever had in my courtroom.”
“But what so many in the world missed is that the moral clarity that was so evident in that courtroom yesterday cannot really emerge from a secular worldview. It can only emerge from a biblical worldview. And yesterday it wasn’t just the witness to good and evil that appeared. In the voice of Rachel Denhollander, there was a powerful witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Gospel that speaks so honestly about sin, and the Gospel that so honestly promises in Christ salvation from sin.”
ACCORDING TO THE WIFE OF THE FIRST INVESTIGATIVE SBC TASK FORCE LEADER ALBERT MOHLER MADE A SURPRISE VISIT TO THEIR NC CHURCH BEFORE THE FIRST TASK FORCE WAS FINALIZED .

MOBILE, Ala. (BP) – “A former Southern Baptist seminary professor and his wife have filed suit against the SBC and 10 other individuals and entities connected to the SBC, including Jennifer Lyell and Guidepost Solutions.”
“In a filing made in the Mobile, Ala., Circuit Court, David and Mary Sills allege “defamation, conspiracy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, and wantonness concerning untrue claims of sexual abuse” initiated by Jennifer Lyell.”
Guidepost Solutions, a third-party investigative firm secured in 2021 by the Sexual Abuse Task Force
“It also accuses the SBC, Lifeway, Jennifer Lyell, Eric Geiger, the EC, Ed Litton, Willie McLaurin, Rolland Slade, SBTS and Mohler of “making an example out of SBC member and employee David Sills who, without controversy, had admitted to an affair with Lyell and willingly accepted the SBC requirement that he depart from his position at the Seminary.”
“The suit claims these parties “saw an opportunity to improve the appearance and reputation of (the) SBC’s handling of abuse cases, long under fire, even though there had not been any legitimate and proper investigation into the allegations, nor was Dr. Sills adequately informed of the specific nature and extent of accusations made by Lyell.”
WHAT THE GOSPEL- THE CHURCH AND THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ARE NOT !!!
The Christian , nuclear family is NOT an IDOL as Feminist Theology, Russell Moore , Nate Collins Sam Allberry and other Baptist activist assert and does not need to be “replaced by an inclusive church as the family”
Church is the Body of Christ and the assembly of the first born – who have been forgiven- and have forgiven those who sin against them.It is not an assembly of victims seeking justice. Instead they are justified by the Blood of Christ – for all have sinned against the offended party which in the true Gospel is God.
The Gospel is the Good News that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself in His Son Jesus and that Good News does not need useful tools from the Frankfurt School or seminary students devoting time and study and entire careers to uniting critical theory narratives with Bible verses and theological concepts to form a new gospel. How is this known? Because such narratives are not the the Gospel at all.
Atonement is a sacred work within the HOLY realm of Triune God and impacts mankind only in that God has opened the doors for mankind to reap its bountiful mercy and taste of eternal life…knowing the forgiveness of sin by it. It has no need of nuance nor refining and adaptation for application in a modern society or among its activist “causes”.
Forgiveness is a non option for the Christian based on having been forgiven and on laying down ones own life for others as Jesus has laid down His life for all sinners. The Gospels and Forgiveness serve God’s JUSTICE – not ours and Vengeance belongs to Him alone. He will repay. The offer of forgiveness and the choice to show mercy are God’s and we are called to forgive as He forgives based on the Blood of Jesus.
There is no room for demands for Justice at the foot of the cross.

Love Your Enemies
27 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
32 “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, [d]hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. Abuse of any kind and all kinds cries out for justice like the blood of Able from the ground after being murdered by his own brother . Abuse that is unlawful in mans courts and the prosecution and penalty for it are to be settled in mans courts NOT in the church lead by members with movements of problematic origin and grinding out other agendas in and against the church.
When the church embraces the role of dispensing JUSTICE over race or abuse or sexuality or identity or any number of social change causes – is has lost its vision and eternal purpose.
Mercy is the message of the Cross against the backdrop of mans rejection of and hatred toward God and God’s pending judgement on all who do wickedly and love a lie. Suspended in the convergence God’s TRUTH , of sin and wrath and God’s Divine Judgement and the desperate inability of man to save himself- God provided Himself a Lamb to take away the sins of the World.
