EVANGELICALS JOIN INTERFAITH /WML AND CATHOLICS AT G20 TO “FOSTER THE EMERGENCE OF A JUST AND HARMONIOUS WORLD ORDER.”

INTERFAITH PARTICIPATION BY PCA AND SBC LEADERS IS RAMPANT AMONG GLOBALIST RELIGIOUS LEADERS. THE MOST RECENT ROUND TOOK PLACE IN INDONESIA AT THE FIRST EVER “R20” INITIATED AT G20 BY THE WORLD MUSLIM LEAGUE.

Rev.Thomas Littleton

Presbyterians and Baptist look to lining up in the rush into apostasy, global goals vision casting and now using interfaith dialog to openly boast their role in the effort to”foster the emergence of a truly just and harmonious world order.” The reasons for this insanity are rooted in several new realities. Christian missions organizations like the PCA Mission to North America and the Southern Baptist North American Missions Board/ International Missions Board collaborate with the governments and international NGOs to import refugees and support human migration ,especially of Muslims, into the United States. Also leaders like Tim Keller and Rick Warren are leading out in the push for more and ever deepening interfaith dialog and agreements like this G20 Religious Forum.

Welcome to the Indonesia Religion Forum
(R20 Indonesia 2022)

“The R20 forum will leverage the ‘Group of 20’ (G20) Summit, an annual gathering of the world’s most economically powerful nations, to help ensure that religion in the 21st century functions as a genuine and dynamic source of solutions, rather than problems.

In order to fulfill this vision, R20 forum will mobilize diverse religious, political and economic leaders from G20 Member States and elsewhere throughout the world to:

• prevent the weaponization of identity;

• curtail the spread of communal hatred;

• promote solidarity and respect among the diverse peoples, cultures and nations of the world; and

• foster the emergence of a truly just and harmonious world order, founded upon respect for the equal rights and dignity of every human being.”

G20 INTERFAITH CALL TO ACTION AGENDA

“The G20 Interfaith Forum (“IF20”) is inspired by the extraordinary contemporary efforts of religious communities—leaders, witnesses, organizations, alliances, scholars—across the world—to work together, with each other and with countless other partners, to address the crises.”

Multireligious coalitions, alliances, and partnerships are doing so. We cite a few examples: ( NOTE- This includes the WHO/ Pandemic leadership, UN Climate /Global Warming agenda, Commission on Refugees and even Agenda 2030 Global Sustainability Goals. )

  • Religions for Peace makes common cause with the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), and the High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR).
  • Jubilee USA presses for action on to mobilize and reform global financial architecture.
  • The International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD) addresses Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) one by one.
  • Arigatou International exemplifies a laser focus on children.
  • The International Freedom of Religion or Belief Alliance highlights victims of discrimination.
  • The Culture of Encounter that Pope Francis exhorts is intricately linked to the 2019 document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together, signed with the Sheikh of Al-Azhar.1

WORLD MUSLIM LEAGUE LEADERSHIP

“The first R20 was organised by two of the world’s largest Islamic non-governmental organisations, the Muslim World League (MWL) and the Indonesian Nahdlatul Ulam (NU).”

MWL welcomed a number of American evangelical leaders in Washington, DC to review the contents of the Charter of Makkah and its purpose to establish community and global harmony.

THE DIALOG GOES FORWARD DESPITE WARNINGS OF WML MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD CONNECTIONS

“Our Government and the Muslim Brotherhood
My Speech in Washington”

by Andrew McCarthy

…the Muslim World League in Saudi Arabia, (is) perhaps the most significant Muslim Brotherhood organization in the world.”

“As recently as 2018 many others have testified before Congress that the Muslim Brotherhood is “GLOBAL THREAT” DUE TO IT’S MASSIVE SUPPORT OF TERRORISM .”

THE POPE SPEAKS VIRTUALLY /CATHOLIC PRESS HIGH PRAISE

“The R20 summit, Sheikh Staquf told Indonesian agency Antara, expected to host “no less than 160 international figures” and some 4,000 participants.”

“Archbishop Warda thanked Staquf for allowing a place for discussion to flourish and quoted the Muslim sheikh’s words that any Islamic doctrine of enmity was “unreasonable” and a barrier to “living harmoniously and peacefully within the multicultural, multireligious societies of the 21st century.”

“In his livestreamed speech, the Catholic leader called for an “honest discussion about the primordial cycle of hatred, supremacy, and violence that has plagued humanity since before the dawn of history.”

“The archbishop echoed the words of Pope Francis in Iraq to Christians during his visit in 2021, stressing that love was real strength. He stressed the need to be able to forgive — without forgetting — and “a renewed encounter with our Muslim neighbors based in the reality of our experience.”

ARCHBISHOP THINKS G20 CAN SAVE THE WORLD?

“And while I am personally convinced that the world of faith will ultimately prevail,” Archbishop Warda added, “it cannot do so when the constant face of our world of faith is one of violence against the other, or even against ourselves.”

“He said: “We beg those who will be assembled in the forthcoming G20 summit, those who continue to have access in shaping policy for the world, to daily remember that your global planning decisions have life or death consequences for the people living on the outside.”

Thank You!
G20 Religion Forum in Indonesia

A Note from Tom
I would like to thank you because you made it possible for me to represent many millions of Christians at the first G20 Religion Forum.

“The G20, which was founded to prevent future global economic crises, has been mostly a gathering of heads of state, finance ministers, secretaries of trade, and central bankers from the 20 largest economies. More recently the G20 leadership has begun to add discussions of topics that have global impacts on societies and economies. This year, while Indonesia was coordinating the events, discussion of religions was added.”

“Already for a couple generations the largest Indonesian Muslim group, with whom the WEA has a religious freedom joint working group, has been trying to allow the peaceful development of both Protestant and Catholic churches. This peaceful neighborliness of Muslims with Christians forms the background for the economic growth of their country. Now, through the G20, political and religious leaders from other major countries are publicly considering how to apply this model in their countries. Even the first steps in this process, such as top Saudi Arabian Muslim leaders having their pictures taken while attending meetings with Christians, will reduce the persecution of Christians in their countries, including saving the lives of Christians.”

“It is valuable for Christians to support this process and to have representatives at the table for the discussions. Again, thank you for letting me represent Christians in this forum by means of your giving, praying, and encouragement. My invitation to give a speech at this event was the result of years of study, writing, and meetings while you were supporting us. We hope you will continue supporting us with prayer and finances.

TOM JOHNSON WHO REPRESENTS PCAs MISSION TO NORTH AMERICA AND ACSI MAKES HIMSELF AT HOME AMONG INTERFAITH LEADERS

SOME OF PCA LEADER TOM JOHNSON’S PAST WORK FROM 2021 FROM HIS NEWSLETTER.TOMS INTERFAITH BOOK ACCEPTANCE AND WORK WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT.

“I wrote my recent book, Humanitarian Islam, Evangelical Christianity, and the Clash of Civilizations.

“As soon as this book was released online, I sent a PDF of the book, which includes long explanations of important themes in Protestant theology and ethics, to our Muslim counterparts. Some of them read it almost immediately; within a few days after publication, they thanked me for describing them and their views accurately. They are accustomed to inaccurate or even slanderous descriptions of Islam coming from Christians.”

“With my permission they placed my book on their website, along with a very nice communique. They wrote, “The world’s largest Protestant organization has endorsed the Humanitarian Islam movement as an essential vehicle for peacefully and definitively resolving ‘the Muslim-Christian clash of civilizations, which started almost 1,500 years ago. ‘On the day that Pope Francis commenced an historic papal visit to Iraq — which included a meeting with the world’s preeminent Shi‘ite spiritual leader and a tour of Mosul, until recently a stronghold of the defeated ISIS caliphate — the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) Theological Commission published Humanitarian Islam, Evangelical Christianity, and the Clash of Civilizations.” Until very recently I could not have imagined that the world’s largest Muslim organization would promote a book by a Protestant theologian. PTL!”

“My work representing the WEA in religious freedom efforts of the US State Department is continuing. I do not know if the change at the White House will have a large influence. This means that I am participating in Zoom meetings with religious leaders and diplomats from several countries. Sometimes I can give a speech. Two such speeches are available online: Understanding Religious Persecution and Religious Communities as Good Neighbors.”

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AND MUSLIM MIGRATION AN ODD MIX IN THE CALVINIST PCA WORLD.

TOM JOHNSON WORK WITH MISSION TO NORTH AMERICA AND REFUGEES.

Representing Refugees and Immigrants

“As you know, I now work part-time for the PCA’s Mission to North America (MNA) Refugee and Immigrant Ministry as the Cross-cultural Training Specialist. In September, in that role, I attended meetings for the heads of the different ministries working under Mission to North American (MNA), not as the head of the Refugee and Immigrant Ministry, but on behalf of the director, Pat Hatch.”

“In October, I stood in for Pat and our ministry again at a Church Planters Summit held at Covenant Seminary. The idea was to have all the ministries of MNA there so church planters can see what is available as they work to grow new churches.”

“Now I am getting to know the ministries in the Knoxville area that are ministering to refugees and immigrants. Recently, I was trained as a volunteer for Bridge Refugee Services, and I met with the person who is the “School Liaison.” She and I will be planning some trainings together, and I may do some tutoring.”

“The fun fact is that these two works, MNA Refugee and Immigrant Ministry and volunteering for Bridge Refugee Services, go hand in hand. I thank the Lord for this privilege.”

ACSI EU and Global

TOM JOHNSON SEALS OF REPRESENTATION

“My work with international Christian school accreditation is continuing with ACSI Global. I am looking forward to going to Europe in April to work with a team at an international Christian school in their accreditation process. In the meantime, I will be meeting with school leaders of this school on Zoom for two days just before Thanksgiving to see how things are going and to give encouragement.”

MORE OF TOM JOHNSONS WORK WITH ACSI FROM 2021

ACSI
“In early March, I was a part of the ACSI Europe team that helped put on a virtual conference in partnership with ECCEN (European Conference for Christian Education in the Netherlands). The bi-annual conference is called the International Educational Leadership Conference and seeks to support and strengthen Christian school leaders. There were 272 people from 46 different countries who joined us in the conference. The Lord be praised!

“Now our ACSI Europe colleagues will start looking forward to the Student Leadership Conference held in September each year. We are praying it can be face-to-face this year. Last year’s was online. Europe is currently quite locked down, so we just do not know at this point.”
In April, I will be leading an accreditation team for a “virtual” accreditation “visit” of a Christian international school. It is a lot of work for the school and the team, but it strengthens the school and the visiting team members learn a lot. Pray I have wisdom as I help the team and school navigate through a virtual visit.

“After that accreditation, I will return to my series of workshops on “Teaching with Cultural Intelligence.” I have been asked to develop an online version of it for ACSI’s Pre-Field Orientation (PFO) that is entirely online now.”

CONCLUSION

With massive funding going into “human migration ” and “refugee resettlement ” especially Muslims in the West , groups like the PCA and SBC missions departments certainly have motivation to take a seat at the table . But the inspiration does not come from the Good News of the Gospel since such efforts and interfaith dialog do not include evangelization of the rival religious leaders and participants at the table. Also Government funding prevents the sharing of the Gospel or any efforts to convert the refugees or migrants in programs the government is funding.

The only conclusion that can be honestly reached is that the inspiration comes from the MONEY …in the Hundreds of Millions and Billions . Partner NAE humanitarian arm World Relief is THE recruiter for evangelical partners like the PCA and SBC and it has had a huge windfall of cask for its efforts.

So what else is inspiring these compromises? Perhaps it is the deep deception of thinking these EVANGELICALS can in fact “foster the emergence of a truly just and harmonious world order, founded upon respect for the equal rights and dignity of every human being.”
