SBC CHOICE OF THE CONTROVERSIAL PASTOR DAVID UTH TO HOST THE PASTORS CONFERENCE WHILE SBC 2020 IS HELD IN ORLANDO IN THE CULTURAL SHADOW OF PULSE NIGHTCLUB TRAGEDY IS NO ACCIDENT. 

SBC leaders like Albert Mohler, Russell Moore,  Ed Stetzer ( who will chair the SBC 2020 Resolutions Committee) and others KNOW that the Revoice movement in the SBC is a VERY DIVISIVE ISSUE . Response , or lack thereof. to Revoice errors in the Presbyterian Church of America is splitting that denomination already.

Clearly the main reason for the push of these controversial issues like Revoice and the choice of David Uth and First Baptist Church to host SBC 2020 Pastors Conference to “kick off” the Southern Baptist Conventions annual meeting in Orlando is because it PAYS.

Given the bonanza of Faith Based Grants and long term partnerships with state and federal government and private foundation/ corporations -the “New- Next -With It” SBC leadership can position themselves well in the “Brave New World”.

IF THE SBC SPLITS AND CONSERVATIVES LEAVE…THEY WILL SIMPLY BE DONE WITH THOSE OF US WHO HOLD BIBLICAL CONVICTION WHICH INSPIRES THE OPPOSITION TO THEIR LONG AND SHORT TERM GOALS !

It is likely that Albert Mohler, Ed Stetzer, Russell Moore, David Uth are SIMPLY  “WAITING TO EXHALE ” and say to regular, CONVENTIONAL, “problematic” and non progressive Southern Baptist -“GOOD RIDDANCE “.
