MOHLER’S HISTORY WITH BUTTERFIELD FROM 2014 ETHICS AND RELIGIOUS LIBERTIES COMMISSION (ERLC) CONFERENCE WHICH LAUNCHED THE CRITICAL THEORY CONVERSATIONS ON SOGI/SSA AND “HUMAN SEXUALITY “IN THE CHURCH.

(NOTE: THESE WERE CONVERSATIONS WHICH NEVER NEEDED TO HAPPEN IF THE END GAME WAS SIMPLY TO PROVIDE ACTIVIST VOICES A PLATFORM IN THE CHURCH OR IN ORDER TO ALIGN THE CHURCH AND CHRISTIANS VIEWS WITH THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATIONS IDEOLOGY OF SOGI…WHICH IN FACT THEY DID SEEK TO DO.)

ALBERT MOHLER AND HIS PROTEGE’ RUSSELL MOORE INTRODUCED A HERD OF “Same Sex Attracted” (SSA)/SOGI SPEAKERS IN 2014 WHEN HE ALSO CONFESSED TO “BEING WRONG ABOUT SEXUAL ORIENTATION” THUS BOWING HIS KNEE TO WHAT HE HAD BEFORE NOTED IN 2005 WAS “THE ACTIVIST HERMENEUTIC TO DENY THE AUTHORITY OF THE WORD OF GOD”.

Mohler in his role in the 2014 ERLC conference assumes for himself what he confirms to be the activist hermeneutic on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity / SOGI and then introduces a wide variety of “hospitality and inclusion”activist voices including Rosaria Butterfield and the controversial Sam Allberry. Butterfield and others like Allberry, Jackie Hill Perry and Christopher Yuan have remained as the primary allowed and approved voices for the ongoing “forced” and facilitated “conversation” on human sexuality and homosexuality and now transgenderism in the church. This event and the endless conversations it spawned have never included people with fully converted, non- activist testimonies of deliverance by FAITH and the power of the Gospel. Though Butterfield’s testimony comes closer than some of the other approved voices who express their ongoing longing for same-sex relationships, she is not lacking in expressing the virtues of the culture she left behind or placing the burden of “hospitality “welcome and inclusion on the church.

THIS EVENT IS WHEN AND WHERE MOHLER AND MOORE INTRODUCED ROSARIA BUTTERFIELD (WHO IS A WIDELY EXPERIENCED ACADEMIC PRACTITIONER TRAINED IN CRITICAL THEORY) TO THE CHURCH CONVERSATION ON HOMOSEXUALITY AND THE FUTURE OF MARRIAGE.

FOR SOME THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A CURIOUS PICK GIVEN THE LEVEL OF CRITICAL THEORY INFILTRATION IN SEMINARIES LIKE SBTS WHILE MOHLER HAS BEEN PRESIDENT.

MOHLER AND HIS TRAINED ACTIVIST DISCIPLES HISTORY ON SEXUALITY / LGBTQ / CRT / INTERSECTIONALITY

Most people would assume that Albert Mohler has brought Rosaria Butterfield into the church conversation on homosexuality and the future of marriage in 2014 because of her conversion and former use of and expertise in critical theory/ gender/ feminine and queer theories. YET keep in mind that Mohler trained and employed the founder of Revoice Nate Collins at Mohler’s SBTS. Collins was teaching New Testament at SBTS while writing on the word “Virgin” used in the New Testament as being “proof of a third gender option in the Bible/ New Testament “. Collins papers and academic work are saturated with gender and queer theory. So how does Mohler miss this fact in his own seminary professors academic work and yet choose and promote a voice like Butterfield known for having left her academic pursuits of critical, gender, feminine and queer theories behind …if she has indeed left them behind? Is it Mohler who is confused or his disciples, or his choice of “expert” voices?

Mohler also trained and employed many, if not most of the CRT/Intersectionality practitioners who helped Mohler in the CRT filled 2016 “Removing the Stain of Racism from the SBC” project and the 2017 “purge of racism history” from SBTS. Mohler’s same CRT /CT specialist were on the 2019 Resolutuions Committee who promoted the use of CRT and Intersectionality into the heart of the Southern Baptist Convention. This extreme controversy still looms in the SBC as does the Revoice LGBTQ Thriving in Historic ( Conservative ) Churches. Revoice has even promoted LGBTQ Christianity/ Queer Christian/ treasures of Queer Theory and Queer Culture in the New Jerusalem” and the ERLC has repeatedly promoted Revoice, it’s resources, and the writings of it’s founder, a SBTS former New Testament teacher Nate Collins.

The ERLC event and the ongoing sexual and racial facilitated discussions in the conservative church realm are basically dialectical in nature. They are dialectic processes of social change. If they were not then WHY do they seek to conflict Christian listeners and offer third way options as Gospel answers and responses?

HONEST QUESTION ?

IS ROSARIA BUTTERFIELD THE EXCEPTION FOR ALBERT MOHLER IN THAT HE USES HER BECAUSE SHE IS A FORMER PRACTITIONER IN THESE CRITICAL THEORIES WHILE HE HELPS TRAIN AND EMPLOY A HOST OF OTHER ACTIVISTS WHO CONTINUE THEIR USE AND PROMOTE CRITICAL THEORIES DEEP INSIDE THEIR OWN MOVEMENT?

Thus begs another question … does Rosaria still engage the use of Critical Theories, intersectionality and dialectical process? AGAIN CONSIDER HER OWN WRITINGS AND PRESENTATION. Why in turn would a person who has specialized in Critical/ queer / gender/ feminist theory in her life before CHRIST, not REJECT, SHUN AND/OR REFUSE TO BE ASSOCIATED with any person or group who would be flooding these same ideologies and ” analytical tools of Cultural Marxism into the Church and corrupting the faith of many in Christian education?

HERE IS AN ADDITIONAL,very difficult, BUT NEEDED QUESTION: How is it possible that a saved and thinking person who knows all too well the harm of these deadly ideologies would not be conflicted beyond any ability to work with someone who IS training activist theologians in the same deadly tools? Even a casually informed observer can see the glaring contradiction of Rosaria Butterfield’s ongoing work with Albert Mohler from 2014 to the present.

DOES ROSARIA BUTTERFIELD STILL USE CRITICAL THEORY? IS SHE ENGAGING A DIALECTICAL PROCESS?

See her biography for a disturbing CONSIDERATION.

“Rosaria Butterfield, a former tenured professor of English and women’s studies at Syracuse University, converted to Christ in 1999 in what she describes as a train wreck. Her memoir The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert chronicles that difficult journey. Rosaria is married to Kent, a Reformed Presbyterian pastor in North Carolina, and is a homeschool mother, author, and speaker.”

(NOTE HER SPECIALTIES)

“Raised and educated in liberal Catholic settings, Rosaria fell in love with the world of words. In her late twenties, allured by feminist philosophy and LGBTQ+ advocacy, she adopted a lesbian identity. Rosaria earned her PhD from Ohio State University, then served in the English department and women’s studies program at Syracuse University from 1992 to 2002. Her primary academic field was critical theory, specializing in queer theory. Her historical focus was 19th-century literature, informed by Freud, Marx, and Darwin. She advised the LGBTQ+ student group, wrote Syracuse University’s policy for same-sex couples, and actively lobbied for LGBTQ+ aims alongside her lesbian partner.”

NOTE THIS STATEMENT IN HOMOSEXUALITY AND HETEROSEXUALITY WHICH ONE DIALECTICAL EXPERT IMMEDIATELY RECONGNIZED AS A DIALECTIAL PROCESS .

“She discourages usage of the term “gay Christian,” and she disputes “conversion therapy,” in part because heterosexual sin is no more sanctified than homosexual sin.”

NOTE THE THESIS – HETEROSEXUALITY & ANTI-THESIS HOMOSEXUALITY = CONSENSUS (PROJECTED) – AS BOTH BEING NORMAL SEXUAL DESIRES – “heterosexual sin is no more sanctified than homosexual sin.” NOTE THE BIBLE AUTHORITATIVELY DECLARES HOMOSEXUALITY TO BE SINFUL AS WELL AS PERVERTED AND UNNATURAL DESIRES LEADING TO THE WRATH OF GOD AND THE GIVING OVER TO DEPRAVITY OF MIND. Rosaria’s narrative is lessening something the Word of God is clearly amplifying.

Romans 1:

²⁷ Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

²⁸ And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; ²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, ^[d]covetousness, ^[e]maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,³⁰ backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, ³¹ undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; ³² who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

ANOTHER QUESTION TO CONSIDER. Is the sense of equalizing heterosexual sin and homosexual sin in keeping with God’s Word or His HOLY assessment of the differences?

IS THIS A CLASSIC DIALECTICAL PROCESS?

If SO, THEN why is Rosaria Butterfield still using it? Why ELSE would Albert Mohler have introduced her along with other activist voices in 2014 ERLC event and continued to platform other CRT/ CT/Intersectionality voices if the end goal was not to do all the above using these voices to bring about social change toward LGBTQ and race in the church? Please also keep in mind that Feminism is ALREADY well inside the SBC and other conservative church movements via the #churchtoo /sex abuse charges. The SBC LEADERSHIP welcomed feminism and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion metrics and reforms in through responding to “leaked email accusations” of THE SAME (rampant sex abuse/cover ups/ and racism) Mohler disciple and ERLC partner Russell Moore.

NOTE: On the issue of “Conversion / Ex Gay Therapy” Butterfield issued a retraction in 2022 on her opposition to it but has aligned with the teachings of a New Apostolic Reformation elder and doctor on the issue, She currently admits that her shift is more based on how such therapy “applies to be detransitioning more than to homosexuality.” Butterfield has now found acceptance in one of the last remaining “Ex gay” counseling oversight and support groups called Restore Hope Network. It is also important to note that another person with Critical Theory and activist training close to Mohler was involved with the largest such “Ex Gay” support group Exodus International when Exodus was collapsed from inside by its own leadership in 2013 under Alan Chambers. That Mohler critical theory trained activist is SBTS graduate, former New Testament teacher and Revoice founder, Nate Collins. So the “Ex Gay” counseling ministries who remain are far from out of the woods on securing their futures and the support of the church as long as the uncertainty created by Albert Mohler affiliated activist being welcomed and active within their own movements.

The Bible is “God breathed” and every word is inspired by the Holy Spirit”

WHAT IS LITERARY THEORY AND IS IT BIBLICAL TO USE IT TO UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE?

“Literary Theory”

“Literary theory” is the body of ideas and methods we use in the practical reading of literature. By literary theory we refer not to the meaning of a work of literature but to the theories that reveal what literature can mean. Literary theory is a description of the underlying principles, one might say the tools, by which we attempt to understand literature. All literary interpretation draws on a basis in theory but can serve as a justification for very different kinds of critical activity. It is literary theory that formulates the relationship between author and work; literary theory develops the significance of race, class, and gender for literary study, both from the standpoint of the biography of the author and an analysis of their thematic presence within texts. Literary theory offers varying approaches for understanding the role of historical context in interpretation as well as the relevance of linguistic and unconscious elements of the text. Literary theorists trace the history and evolution of the different genres—narrative, dramatic, lyric—in addition to the more recent emergence of the novel and the short story, while also investigating the importance of formal elements of literary structure. Lastly, literary theory in recent years has sought to explain the degree to which the text is more the product of a culture than an individual author and in turn how those texts help to create the culture.”

It is the Holy Spirit who illuminates the Word of God to us otherwise we can be found “wrestling with it to our own destruction” as Peter warns.

No one is saved by, or obtains forgiveness of sin by approaching the Word of God as “any other book” via Literary Theory. The Word of God must be approached with repentance and faith for salvation to be owned by the hearer. Gods wisdom and ways are higher than the heavens are above the earth and His “foolishness” ” is wiser than all the volumes of sidom of men. How can we be so arrogant as to think to subject Gods Word to our ideas of literary analysis?

PLUS –THE WORD OF GOD HAS BECOME FLESH AND IS DISPLAYED BY THE LIFE OF JESUS WHICH ALSO NEEDS NO LITERARY OR CRITICAL THEORIES APPLIED TO SEE HIM FOR WHO HE IS.

JOHN 1

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

THE CORE OF ROSARIA’S CONCERN OVER INTERSECTIONALITY IS PROVIDED IN THIS RATHER ODD STATEMENT. IT IS ODD GIVEN THE DANGERS OF IT AS THE GATHERING PLACE OF EVERY OTHER CRITICAL THEORY.

“When Intersectionality joins efforts with the gospel it leaves us with an immature faith, a false hope, and a deceptive vocabulary…”

“Under intersectionality, liberation depends on the power of voice—or re-voice—of material and perceived harm. It works like this: when we allow those with a hefty load of intersections (perhaps a transgender woman of color who is deaf and poor and incarcerated) to have a larger voice in a culture and simultaneously require those who have white male heterosexual “privilege” to remain silent, we supposedly tear down the walls of material violence. Indeed, intersectionality maintains that who you truly are is measured by how many victim statuses you can claim—with your human dignity only accruing through intolerance of all forms of disagreement about your perceptions of self and world.”

“Let’s be clear: unjust violence against all image bearers of a holy God is condemned in the Bible as sin. And God knew that certain groups of people would need greater protection than others—widows, orphans, the poor, the prisoner—and He commands our immediate care of them (Heb. 13:1–3). God warns us against committing the sin of partiality (James 2:6). The most horrific forms of betrayal and sin are those committed within families and churches, when the very people who are called by God to protect the small and weak become their captors and predators. God hates this.”

“The question at hand, however, is this: Can intersectionality serve the gospel? Can we add intersectional teaching to the gospel to arrive at a better way of loving our neighbor? A number of churches and parachurch groups say yes. Intersectionality has found a home in many of our Reformed churches, notably in sensitivity training to make the church a friendlier place for “sexual minorities.”

“God-fearing churches take violence and oppression seriously. A God-fearing church takes church membership, personal accountability, and church discipline seriously, too, because these things are connected. An oppressed person’s best defense against true violence is membership in a Bible-believing church, one that practices both hospitality and church discipline, one that protects the sheep from the wolves by driving the wolves out the door. Intersectionality banks on the power of human words, but justice for the oppressed comes by the power of the gospel.”

“INTELLECTUAL HOSPITALITY ” DEFINED: IS IT JUST ANOTHER TOOL OF THE TRADE…

“The idea of hospitality around that table has deep roots in classical literature, where the principle of hospitality, xenia, translates as “guest friendship” from the original Greek. It offers guidelines for how to gather around the table, how to serve as a host, and how to behave as a guest. Immediately upon arrival, a guest received provision, without inquiry as to his or her name or business until the duties of hospitality had been fulfilled. The stranger at the door was welcomed and cared for. In response, the guest showed respect to the host and honored the rules of the household.”… “We usually view hospitality as with an eye to impress. We invite the people we know. We clean house, buy fresh flowers, and cook special meals. Though we enjoy one another’s company, we also present our best face —our gaze is still fixed on the mirror. However, the word “hospitality” comes from the Latin hospes, which means “stranger.” Thomas Ogletree, retired Methodist minister and former dean of Yale Divinity School, suggests that to offer hospitality is to “welcome something new, unfamiliar, and unknown into our life.”

“St. Augustine famously depicted the Christian quest for truth among pagan thinkers in terms of the Israelites taking the Egyptians’ gold and silver with them when they fled from captivity. Others of us have seen the quest for truth possessed by unbelievers as best characterized by a humble exercise in intellectual hospitality. Each approach acknowledges that truth is to be gained from those with whom we disagree in fundamental ways about the important “big” issues of life. But the two outlooks, rescuing what rightly belongs to us versus a hospitable willingness to learn from others, foster the cultivation of very different styles of intellectual engagement. This paper will acknowledge some insights in the rescue approach, while finally coming down on the side of hospitality.”

“Like the mainstream feedback from our culture, the 3×5 card answers would convey a myriad of definitions and opinions. Unfortunately, only a few answers might be based on a Christ-centered and biblical worldview.”

CONCLUSION

Christian education has been the target of infiltration for decades. The advancement of those infiltration efforts has now hit warp speed in part due to the growth of homescxhooling and Christian education since Covid 19 school closings and the glaring rise of CRT/ DE&I and other activist ideologies in public education. Christians wanting to offer true biblically based education and worldview to their children must rely only on the proven basics of education and the bible as the authoritative WORD OF GOD and not on activist nor seminary presidents who train them. No matter how much warped “theology of cities “/ human flurishing/ common good economics/ or bible verses and red inked quotes- the United Nations and World Economic Forum global gaols are not compatible with the Gospel or the Great Commission. “On September 8, 2020, the global Social Media Campaign “The Bible and the SDGs” was officially launched.
The global campaign “The Bible and the SDGs” is a joint campaign of different departments within the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA). The WEA Creation Care Task Force, the WEA Sustainability Centre, the Lausanne/WEA Creation Care Network, the global campaign Renew our World and the Church of Pentecost in Ghana are involved in this campaign.
The campaign combines the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the biblical foundation on creation care and stewardship. The campaign aims to inspire and empower Christ’s followers to think biblically about sustainability and to commit themselves accordingly to save our planet. The campaign runs concurrently with the Season of Creation and the SDG Action Month of the Global SDG Action Campaign by the United Nations. The Season of Creation is a worldwide ecumenical celebration of prayer and action for the protection of creation. It runs from September 1 to October 4.
Through the Bible and SDGs Campaign, churches and congregations are empowered to implement creation care on a daily basis and thus become a strong, legitimate and united voice in global debates on sustainability.

STEREOTYPES STRAWMEN AND FIVE EASY VILLAINS : NOT ALL HOMESCHOOLERS ARE “SHINY HAPPY” GOTHARDITES

This author’s family does homeschooling and have known thousands of homeschool families for over four decades. The self imploded Duggar celebrity homeschool family does not represent the typical homeschool family and NEVER HAS. The sort of morbid facination with a couple who gave birth to “19 Kids and Counting” has now become the head of the spear for vilifying all homeschooling families and Christian conservatism. Pause and think about this for a moment. Nineteen Children and being reality TV stars is not a typical family on ANY level. Yet the BROAD BRUSHING approach of “Shiny Happy People” docu-series makes it clear that the left wants to stop the homeschooling Christian movement in its tracks by pointing fingers at and further exploiting a troubled family whose parents knew as far back as 2003 that their son was molesting some of his sisters. It is well documented that the Duggars were warned by some very close to the parents and family NOT to hide the abuse. Agreed that the greater issue is that the parents did know – and others knew already YET they chose to move forward with making themselves celebrities and cashing in on reality TV . Again- far from typical family – and especially conservative homeschool family.

HOMESCHOOLING DUGGARS AND THE BILL GOTHARD CONNECTION.

This author was first exposed to Bill Gothard as a new believer in the late 1970s. Gothard’s approach to discipleship focused heavily on dating, marriage and family which struck this (then teen aged) author as “strange” given Gothard was single and had no children. Something did not gel yet when Gothard came to town his Institue in Biblical Life Principles ( IBLP )events were packed ..for a time.

So WHILE RIDING HIGH Gothard had multiple organizations and programs which are presented in the docu-series as producing disciples like the Duggar family. The films script portrays IBLP forming everything from The Joshua Generation- BREEDING AND TRAINING little CHRISTIAN NATIONALISTS who plan to “take over America” -to the future “stay at home moms” who are skilled in “MIDWIFERY”. NOW both the Duggars and Gothard have had their own troubles. Gothard is portrayed as an abuser of young women while at the same time the docu-series is rather obscure about which and what of the accusations made toward Gothard have been proven to be true. The BROAD BRUSH STOKES ARE STILL HITTING THE CANVAS in this portait of Christian Homeschooling and Christian Nationalism .

But REAL actual REALITY is that families living out their lives on TV for profit is neither normal nor healthy, nor is homeschooling the reason the scheme melted down, nor is THIS MODEL with 19 kids and counting the goal of many homeschooling families.

One of the most effective ways to ramp up the vilification and stereotyping of Christian homeschooling as the “breeding ground ” of pedophiles and “Christian Nationalist” is to use one of the well placed activist and political operatives like Christianity Today Editor and former Baptist leader Russell Moore to do the follow through.

Read carefully and watch a masterful shammer at work- Moore is so “disturbed by what he sees” and is all too happy to pick up the BROAD BRUSH of the left media and go to work.

Russell Moore was educated and served for decades under his mentor Albert Mohler at SBTS in Louisville KY and Dean and then Provost before becoming the Baptist chief “ethicist” as President of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) .This trainwreck leadership lasted for 8 years -ending badly. Moore had spent 24 years helping educate a generation of “third ( mushy middle ) way” evangelical preachers who are often unaware that they have been bred into “political operatives” in the pulpits of America by mentors like Russell Moore, his mentor Albert Mohler, World Magazines Marvin Olasky and TGC’s Timothy Keller . These new type of pulpiteers have an entire “Theology of political engagement” which has been drafted to MOVE THE POLITICS OF THE CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN POPULATION in America into lockstep with the new growing Christian LEFT… all while thinking that they are being better at being Biblical and serving “Gospel Issues”.

A BATTLE FOR OWNERSHIP …OF THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF CHILDREN

Concerns by the left about homeschooling are rooted in the fact that for the last 100 years plus in America the left has been seeking to OWN K-12 education.They DO OWN public schools from the Department of Education to the local school board to the local classroom. By doing so they are able to partner with Planned Parenthood/ SIECUS / Global GOALs /UNESCO and a host of other leftist organizations to fully indoctrinate children. Then to focus on accusing Conservative Christians who have fled the system and seek to disciple their children as Christians in Christian education as “problematic” is a pretty obvious solution to the growing “problem “of homeschooling.

BARTHOLET: “One is the danger of child maltreatment, and we have evidence that there is a strong connection between homeschooling and maltreatment, which I describe in my article. Other dangers are that children are simply not learning basic academic skills or learning about the most basic democratic values of our society or getting the kind of exposure to alternative views that enables them to exercise meaningful choice about their future lives. Many homeschooling parents are extreme ideologues, committed to raising their children within their belief systems isolated from any societal influence. Some believe that black people are inferior to white people and others that women should be subject to men and not educated for careers but instead raised to serve their fathers first and then their husbands. The danger is both to these children and to society. The children may not have the chance to choose for themselves whether to exit these ideological communities; society may not have the chance to teach them values important to the larger community, such as tolerance of other people’s views and values.”

(NOTE: Covid lockdowns and “remote learning ” actually made more parents WAKE UP to the horrors in public education and look toward Christian education and homeschooling – YET here the Harvard effort seeks to flip the narrative to say that the problem is that Child Protection Services reports are down after Covid shutdowns and that abuse is likely UP “because of homeschooling”. Easy to see how “Shiny Happy People” feeds in to this narrative .

BARTHOLET: “My article was written and submitted for publication prior to the COVID-19 crisis. When that crisis hit I was totally in support of the orders shutting down schools as obviously schools then presented a serious danger of spreading the virus, and of course I believe that the overwhelming majority of parents are capable of providing at least a minimal education at home without presenting any danger of abuse or neglect. I do think, though, that the present near-universal home education situation is illuminating. The evidence is growing that reports to Child Protective Services (CPS) have plummeted nationwide, because children are removed from the mandated reporters that schools provide. “

This can be done by forcing entities taking public funds to use certain standards and enforce “centralization and control of the school choice and admissions procedures.” Perhaps even more alarming, under the banner of “autonomy, evaluation, and accountability,” the report proposes “integration of private subsidized schools
into the monitoring and evaluation framework in place for the public sector.”

TRUMP AND EVANGELICALS HAVE NEVER BEEN “A MARRIAGE MADE IN HEAVEN “

Some Reality Checks agains the “Christian Nationalist” Honeytrap.

Most Christians who vote conservative BIBLICAL convictions do vote on the Pro Life issue stance of their candidates and the Republican Party has been the Pro-Life/Anti-Abortion party since the Reagan era. President Donald Trump was THE MOST active President in history for the Pro -Life movement in modern times. Unlike many of the RINO establishment,Trump did not disapoint his followers on this issue and many of those followers were/are Evangelicals. (Trump was and is way too compromised with the LGBTQ lobby for most pro- life- pro- family evangelicals. Some feel he may have lost the 2020 election related battles in part because of this compromise. )

The hard fact is that most evangelical Christian conservatives did not vote to endorse all of Trumps views or his personal history or his business/ celebrity status .They voted for the best candidate to get something actually to change and to prevent Hillary Clinton from being President in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020. BUT that is not the spin the media- especially most Christian Media operatives like Russell Moore, David French, Marvin Olasky, Albert Mohler,Tim Keller and others have placed on the backs and heads of Christian voters.

THIS IS ALL “REALITY MEDIA ” AND IT IS EVEN MORE FAKE THAN “REALITY TV.”

TRUE CHRISTIANS DO NOT HATE JEWISH PEOPLE, WOMEN WHO HAVE ABORTIONS, OR MINORITES, BECAUSE “REAL CHRISTIANS” HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE HATED MINORITY AND ARE CALLED TO “LOVE (EVEN) OUR ENEMIES”.

There is a rising lack of support for the Jewish community and for Israel among SOME Christians and much of this is due to the ever warping eschatology of the same influencers involved in the derailment of American conservative seminaries. Non biblical views of the end times and the failure to clarify the call for the Christian witness to spread to the ends of the earth by the Preaching of the Gospel have brought about the substitution of NGO’s, saving the Planet , “redeeming of culture ” and “Community Development ” as the core “vision” of the new evangelicals.This is especially true of those who self- identify as social justice warriors, Neo-Calvinist, and “Civilitas” (third way) Christians. In other words- the church leaders working for/in the other team serving Global Goals, globalism and Faith -Based Partnerships.

FOOLS PLAYING THE STRAW MAN

TAKE A LOOK AT THE “END ABORTION NOW” EAN MOVEMENT:

If you watched images of pro-lifers at the SBC annual meetings or from your local State Capitol recently then you might have noticed a movement of radical groups pressing for the prosecution of women who have abortions for murder. They carry the ever ineffective and horrific posters of dead babies ( this is real- not an Alice Cooper stage show) and aborted fetal remains and appear to love to get in the faces of anyone who slows to pass or dares to stop and listen. One such group is led by an aging Calvinist Apologetics named James White and his church teams lead pastor Jeff Durbin of Apologia Church from Phonenix, Arizona. Durbin is a martial arts expert who loves the spotlight and worked as a stunt dubble for the Ninja Turtles brand and in the Mortal Combat franchise. Durbin has found a new home for his celebrity aspirations as a pastor/ activist in the Neo-Hyper Calvinist / cigar smoking/ beer drinking/ tattooed fringe of the evangelical and Calvinist hard right. James White joined the cast of characters on the Apologia Church staff and merged his following with Durbin’s.

The “End Abortion Now” movement has possibly gotten some big funding behind it but that is speculation based on its sudden presence at the SBC annuals and wide spread presence accross the country to State Capitols.

The EAN movements answer is NOT to go for the abortion industry, its multi-billion $$$ funding or planned parenthood or even the Democratic Party or the global Malthusian machine. But EAN chooses rather to go after Women who believe the lies of the machine and end the lives of their own young. Horrific – sinful- Answerable to God YES- But how to end abortion now? or -How the Church should find its redemptive place in the issue?

NO NEVER NOT EVER.

The Durbin narratives also go after Pro -Life activists who are unwilling to embrace this approach and vilify them as not truly pro-life and in lock step with the Abortion Industry . So if you do not want to put women who have abortions on trial for Murder then “you are them… the pro-abortion enemy of “Ending Abortion Now”.

Instead Jesus is reminding these blood thirsty guys that He is seeking and willing to show mercy and that MERCY is based – enabled by His pending sacrifice and with the reminder to “let him who is without sin cast the first stone”. Jesus, after the stones dropped to the ground- turned to this guilty woman and asked “where are your accusers? Does no man condemn you? She replied “No man Lord”. Jesus said “neither do I condemn you, “GO and SIN NO MORE”. This is the Gospel Durbin and his cohorts in EBN look to have lost the gospel in their narrative and forgotten the role of pastors and the saints is the Gospel, NOT the nuancing of pro-life approach. Stop the genocidal Malthusians and eugenics globalist and the billions that flood the global abortion industry annually.That would be the only way to End Abortion Now.

ANTI-ABORTION HYPER CALVINISM -THE SELF CONTRADICTION IS TOO GREAT.

HYPER CALVINIST ARE KNOWN HISTORICALLY FOR SAYING NON-ELECT BABIES ARE CREATED BY GOD TO FUEL THE FIRES OF HELL. ABORTED BABIES , BY THIS NEO-HYPER -CALVINIST THEOLOGY- WOULD BE ORDAINED BY A SOVEREIGN GOD NOT TO BE BORN BUT GIVEN A FAST TRACK TO THEIR NON- ELECT FATES. SO WHY PROSECUTE THE MOTHERS WHO DID GOD’S WILL BY THIS CONFUSED THEOLOGICAL MINDSET?

DURBIN IS OUT DUGGARING THE DUGGARS TO EMBODY THE LEFT’S STRAW MAN.

Christians have to ask -“where is the real Jesus and true Gospel redemption in the media monster mash of would be spokesmen and cultural champions in the Reality Media Narratives?”. Be it the Duggar Parents or Bill Gothard -guru of Homeschoolers or Jeff Durbin and the aging apologist James White – Christians who love the spotlight as celebrity preachers, moral standard bearers and positions as self appointed spokemen for “all True Christian Believers” make themselves vulnerable to becoming “Five Easy Pieces” in the mainstream vilification of REAL Christians. WE are OUR own STRAWMEN AND our own WORST ENEMY .

WHERE IS THIS HEADING ?

All of the talking points that the church is filled with white privileged haters of ethinic groups and ABUSERS OF WOMEN is Broad -Brushed by feminists with their own designs on the church. Is there a problem? Have there been coverups? Are there some people in Christian churches and even leadership who hate and abuse… ? Zero doubt that abuse has taken place but are All Homeschoolers abusers – breeding and indoctrinating future Christian Nationalists? No -ABSOLUTIELY NOT . Are there some? YES just like any other group or institution of every religious or political persuasion . BUT broad-brush tactics and manipulative narratives do not come from people or entities who love the truth and are seeking to help you know it. Secular media have their own ideals to promote and agenda against Biblically conservative Christians.

TRUTH SEEKERS DO NOT NEED CRITICAL THEORIES TO HELP IDENTIFY, SPEAK OR LEAD PEOPLE INTO TRUTH.

THE LEFT LOVES TO VILIFY CHRISTIANS BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE WELL PLACED PROFESSIONAL “SHAMMERS” FROM WITHIN THE CHURCH AND CHRISTIAN MEDIA.

CONCLUSION

None of these media theatrics in “Reality TV” and “Reality Media ” are REAL. They are agenda driven with those waiting in the wings who have something to gain and seek occasion to turn public opinion against Christians. There is plenty of fault and failure in the church and especially by Christian leaders BUT those targeting Homeschooling want to force government oversight and compliance with perverse and unchristian National Standards and revise history and further the general dumbing down of Americas children already taking place in public education. The same forces seek to shame and reshape Christian voting patterns away from biblical issues like pro-life and towards embrace of abortion “rights”. It is manipulation and DEATH by NARRATIVE. BEST TO IGNORE them and do your own thinking- parenting- voting and continue to follow the Lamb wherever He leads..

Jesus the Good Shepherd

JOHN 10 :⁷ Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. ⁸ All who ever came ^[a]before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. ⁹ I am the door. THIRTY YEARS AGO SEMINARY WAS VIEWED, BY MANY YOUNG MEN CALLED INTO MINISTRY, AS SOMETHING TO BE ENDURED. TODAY THE INORDINATE OBSESSION WITH PHILISOPHY MIXED WITH CRITICAL THEORY LACED SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY HAS CAUSED A GENERATION OF YOUNG POSTMODERN MEN AND WOMEN TO SEE THEOLOGY AS AN END IT ITSELF AND THEMSELVES AS BECOMING PART OF AN ELITE THEOLOGICAL CLASS.

WHY IT MATTERS SO VERY MUCH

As the church goes so goes America and American /Western civilization.This is proven and beyond credible dispute.The beyond dispute is the reality that church is in steep decline in America and especially in the South where it has long been at the center of culture and family life. It would take a massive move of the Holy Spirit to revive the church at this point and THAT would require humility, repentance and rending of the collective hearts of the saints. It would start in the prayer closet and mainfest in the pulpits and in the alters of the churches. THAT is not happening because the pulipts are infected and the infection has spread from the seminaries.

It matters most at this stage because the continued rot in the seminaries then flood into our churches and impact our families and our children. This happens EVERY TIME a church hires a new pastor or staffer from these tainted institutions. The problem (beyond prayerless and, at times, unsaved students and faculty) is MONEY. Pretty simple. Below is an examination of just one institution in this authors local city located at a former Baptist University and now filled with the deadly poison of WOKE Justice/ Faith and Works socialist economics and the ongoing grants and impact of tainted money DESIGNED to infiltrate and corrupt our institutions , movements and churches.

THE ROOT OF THE ISSUE

BEESON DIVINITY SCHOOL (SEMINARY) – ONE LOCAL EXAMPLE WHERE TAINTED APOLOGETICS IS THE NEW DISCIPLESHIP

(NOTE- Beeson Divnity School was begun in 1988 and had ecumenical activist academic Timothy George as its founding Dean. Georige is responsible for the problematic Evangelcials and Catholics Together (ECT) movement and the ecumenical manifesto The Manhattan Declaration . Currently Beeson host on campus the latest of Dr.George “big ideas” the new E&C T- which is Egalitarians and Complentarians Together. Thisactivist filled effort is headquartered in “The Center for Women in Ministry at Beeson” .Though the Divinity School was founded as a non denominational institution it sits on a Baptist University (Samford) campus .Its theological leanings tend to be more Anglican and Charismatic than Baptist and decidedly ragged edged ecumenical. Seminaries have always been battlegrounds and the chosen turf for progressive and leftist take overs of Christian movements. Some who go into ministry are not really called of God and some admittedly are not truly born again so they cannot discern the difference between the Bible and progressive ideologies wrapped in bible verses. But this new generation of students, faculty and seminaries face an even greater threat in the intense focus of massive amounts of money and infuence being brought to bear on the seminaries. This is being done in order to MOVE THE CHURCH LEFT POLITICALLY and remove the church from hindering the globalist anti- gospel agenda .The plan goes DEEPER to even co-opt the energies, vision and wealth of the church as well as next genration Christians into global goals schemes to enslave human kind. Ironically it is the church and true believers who are entrusted by Jesus with the VERY KEYS to set the captives FREE.

Lord rend the heavens and come down. Meanwhile beloved- do not hire anyone coming out of these tainted institutions like Beeson unless you want their WOKE infections or are willing to vet their worldview and ideology and you can help them escape its influence before putting them in a place of influence.

NOTE- Templeton is the primary funding behind the “Merger of Faith and Science ” or what is known in Christian circles as “Theistic Evolution” via ( among others ) William Lane Craig apologetics and Francis Collins, Tim Keller promoted BioLogos. Templeton funds this effort on an interfaith level to the tune of $150 million per year and BioLogos for example gets north of $4 million of its $9 plus million annual budget from Templeton Foundation.

Templeton also promotes a growing Interfaith /Multi faith dialog and has in the past stated that its funding grants are lead by their principle to fund religious organizations which adhere to no sacred text”.

“Being Human: Theology And Praxis”

“The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), representing more than 47,000 churches and 15 million persons, recognizes a conflict between faith and science. The L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture (CFC) at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) seeks to create more openness among our faculty and 5,302 students, and model how respectful dialogue between faith and science can occur by focusing on the theme of what it means to be human. Convinced that “all truth is God’s truth,” we intend to reduce a conflict posture, especially in areas like evolution, and promote charitable and respectful dialogue. We aim to impact SBC scholars and seminary professors; SEBTS alumni; current and future SBC pastors, namely SEBTS students; and lay audiences.”

“To achieve this goal, we will pursue scholarly engagement activities around three core themes: Year 1-What it means to be human; Year 2-Human Formation and Flourishing; and Year 3-Humans and Technology. Twelve scholars will gather in annual multi-day interdisciplinary workshops and a scholar in residence program will bring scientists and theologians to campus. For SEBTS students, we will host an exclusive mentorship program. It is becoming more obvious by the day that the public is weary of the constant activist hot house culture corporations and governement angencies, employers , academic entities and even public utilites are forcing in their faces. Worst of all sports and entertainment and even children’s education and entertainment are being overwhelmd with the same compliance and social change efforts. KELLER’S MINISTRY ORIGINS AND SAD LEGACY

Christians seldom know where their Christian celebrity preachers come from.

In Kellers case- his meteoric rise from obscurity in 2008 came from the powers behind the Christianity Today machine and Lausanne operatives promoting his book The Prodigal God.

KELLER WAS EMERGENT -TGC WAS HIS VEHICLE OF INFLUENCE ON YOUNG PASTORS.

Keller was actually part of the Emergent Movement in a series of events and curriculum called “Mission Shift” with Brian Mclaren, Doug Hirsh, J D Greear, Ed Stetzer and other progressives.

By 2010 He was a keynote at Lausanne South Africa and soon dubbed “the new John Stott”- even speaking at Stott’s North American memorial. The Gospel Coalition (TGC) was he and D.A. Carson’s outlet for progressive Christianity straight into the heart of the reformed camp via TEDS CAMPUS / TGC offices and the “Center for Transformational Churches”. TGC hosted huge conferences for pastors and church staff since its 2006 founding and maintained a massive media footprint via its website- blogs and book promotions.

TGC was admitted to be a progressive political organization founded to influence how Christians vote by Colin Hansen its main editor in an ABC interview in 2017. However the deceptive mask for TGC has remained it’s espousal of orthodox “Calvinist/Westminister Confessional Reformed Theology”. TGC/Keller / John Piper / D A Carson etc. used the momentum of Hansen’s writings and labeling of a “Young Restless and Reformed” generation to launch TGC. This generation of young progressive -post modern minded Christians were wanting to escape the ” Moral Majority” ” identites of their parents and grandparents.TGC took advantage of the youthful agnst behind this social/ faith/ political identity crisis to promote a Kuypersim based a “Neo Calvinist” emergent social and political movement. Most who follow it to this day believe it to be an historic, biblical theological movement. TGC marketing has been very successful in achieving its progressive and political goals.

THE TGC CONTAMINATION OF SEMINARIES

The TGC team also helped Oikonomia Network and Greg Forster (out of offices at TEDS) -invade our seminaries and churches with the false “Faith and Work” socialist economics “for the common good”. Keller launched his own Center for Faith and Works at Redeemer Church pushing the social justice/socialst economics. Keller and others in the Faith and Work circles espouse made up ideologies like “Theology of Vocation ” and “Theology of Cities”. Kern Family Foundation has funded much of the invasion of this error and likely funds TGC – but this has never been confirmed nor has the other funding been revealed behind TGC.

KELLER’S SOCIAL GOSPEL AND DIVISIVE FALSE TEACHINGS ON LGBTQ

Keller worked through RTS Orlando in 2009 helping lauch “Seeking the Welfare of the City ” social justice community development “driven model which is also the basis for his “City to City ” planting organization. This city focus is part of the Lausanne /Mission American Coalition’s “City Reaching” strategy which is custom made to fit the United Nations and globalist vision now called Agenda 2030. POLIS INSTITUTE was born out of this RTS Orlando effort which also included CRU-formerly Campus Crusade. POLIS was later to reveal that it is a project of the Institutes for Advanced Studies in Culture ( more on that in a moment ) and funded by Kern Family Foundation. The Seeking the Welfare/ City Reaching/ POLIS INSTITUTE masterplan also included the pro gay ideology of Richard Florida and the assertion of a “gay creative class” needed to do successful urban planning , renewal and community redeveopment.

LEADERSHIP NETWORK, PETER DRUCKER AND TIM KELLER

Before his death -Leadership Network founder Bob Buford- who flooded the church with socialist /Frankfurt /Vienna Circle ideology of Peter Drucker -stopped to check in on Keller’s NYC church. Buford boastfully wrote about Keller’s church which Buford and a billionaire friend Phil Anschutz had heavily invested in. .. helping plant over 300 churches with Keller’s organizations. In the Buford blog he reported and celebrated that a full 40 % of Kellers church members did not profess Christian conversion. But that they were fully committed to Bufords “Half Time ” socialist “common good-give back ” scheme at younger and younger ages. . Amazing ..think about that. Unsaved but dedicted to serve the machine.

KELLER , BUFORD -GLOBALIST VISION AND YOUR MONEY -FOR”THE WORLD WE WANT”.

Keller joined in as a major player in the Lausanne driven “Generosity Movement ” and with high level hedge fund managers from groups like Black Rock to focusing on Christian giving and philanthropy. Buford had boasted to globalist leaders working with the United Nations in “The World We Want ” power grab for control of global philathropy that he had “primed legions of wealthy Christians to become big time philatropist “. These Christians were literally corraled to be harness for their vision. Bufords Halftime brand which is dubbed in its foreword as “picking up where LGBJ’s Great Society (by architect John Gardener) leaves off ” became a well placed tool to prime giving for justice driven domestic and global ” faith based partnerships” (FBP). Keller was a significant part of the “priming ” through his “Theology of Generosity” and role with Lausanne and Buford’s media machine.

Another player -now under the new management of Buford attorney Jay Bennett was the National Christian Foundation which previously took over 24 years to give away $1 billion to Christian ministries but by 2009/2010 was and is giving away well over a $1 billion plus per year with its “donor advised funds”. These efforts have many probelms in part because Christians and ministries to not know where these massive additional infusions of funding have come from and no list of donors or specific exhaustive list of ministries supported is provided. The funds are “donor advised” but not earmarked or committed only to those ministries the donor selects from a pre approved list( not available to the public) by NCF. When contacted for a list of donors -especially of large or foundation donors to NCF and for a FULL list of ministries supported -NCF refused to provide any such list. NCF also does produce income from and looks to be retaining part ofthe funding into its own capitol invetment portfolio. A key figure formerly at Black Rock is also on the board of Lausanne’s Generosity Movement and multiple Keller Boards in NYC.

“CHRISTIAN ECONOMIC FORUM ” AND THE “OTHER 90% OF CHRISTIAN WEALTH”

Not satisfied with the billions in Christian giving , the founder of Crown Financial invisioned a “Davos For Christian Leaders” when launching the “Christian Economic Forum”.It is openly based on the principles and social justice /equity economics of the globalist organization World Economic Forum. This effort targets the TRILLIONS in wealth held by Christians. Aided by “Faith Drivne Investors” (FDI) wealth adivisors – this Davos for Christian Leaders soon recruited Lausanne figures like Tim Keller and David Platt and (then) Southern Baptist Convention President JD Greear as spokespersons along side Black Rock and other leaders in the industry. The effort has been boldly following WEF to lure Christian investing (openly referred to as the other 90% by FDI website pitch ) and justice driven – global vision based investing. It appears that believers having long been primed to merge globalist visions into their giving would hopefully do the same with their investments with trusted pitch men like Keller and Platt providing the theological case for it.

MORE SPECIFICS ON KELLER’S INABILITY TO CONDEMN HOMOSEXUALITY

By 2011 in a Columbia Univesity Veritas Forum event Keller would no longer plainly say that homosexuality was a sin.TGC published all the SSA /Sexual minority activist and hired one of them, Sam Allberry , as editor for TGC on the LGBTQ issue. By 2018 The Keller’s spoke at Allberry/Living Out’s London Conference promoting the Side B narratives and introducing an “Audit ” questionaire for churches on “LGBTQ Inclusion”. Kathy Keller called it “brilliant “and boasted “we are taking it back to our church”. Revoice LGBTQ Thriving in conservative Churches movement was also promoted by this Living Out event and Allberry. Keller continued to promote the Social Justice, Racial , and LGBTQ shift inside Christianity outlined by Lausanne in the 2010 meeting through his considerable-global influence.

KELLER’S POLITICS AND GLOBALISM

Keller was a dominionist theologically who teaches “Christians must redeem culture”. His politics were left. He visited Obama in the Whitehouse on multiple occasions including his efforts to promote “Good Faith “- third way compromise in the church for the Obama administration horrific second term. Keller admitted to being a registered Democrat and his narratives about “Human Flourishing/Thriving Cities” etc all came from his close association with admitted Frankfurt School inspired Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at UVA.

KELLER’S WORK WITH FRANCIS COLLINS AND BIOLOGOS

Keller has long and often be criticised for his warped views on Genesis 1-11 and creation. The source of his position is better understood in light of his role launching BioLogos first ever event in his Redeemer church and being one of Francis Collins thought leaders in BioLogos. Theistic Evolution is the term used to describe the efforts to merge Faith and Science- specifically false evolution “science”. THIS effort is funded by The Templeton Foundation which is putting over $150 million dollars annaully into promoting this merger among all faiths. Again this means it is an interfaith or multi faith effort by Templeton to force all faiths to abandon full reliance on their sacred text to embrace the modern whims and trends of science . This deception has been “flourishing” ,to use Kellers favorite virtue term, inside the church while organizations like UNESCO have long sought to drive a wedge between faith and science. Darwinian evolution and the origin of the species were promoted by UNESCO founder Julian Huxleys grandfather into the mainstream of science in order to counter the influence of Christianity in education . UNESCO also committed in 1946 to “merge Christianity and Communism” using the dialectic tools in education. Most of TGC and Kellers writings are a form of formating information to complexify issues and walk the reader through a dialectical process appealing to both sides while seeking to move the right toward the middle ground and “consensus”.

Keller is in disturbing company with Francis Collins who was a key player in putting forth false information about his agency NIH funding of “Gain of Function research” at the Wuhan lab leading to the Covid 19 pandemic . Collins was also part of the harmful roll out of and mandating of problematic and politicized vaccines which are now part of the ever growing revelations and controversy surrounding the 2020 Pandemic. Keller participated with Collins and Ed Stetzer is spreading propaganda during the crisis.

KELLER AND THE PCA

Keller was ordained a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America ( PCA) .This is the conservative movement born out of the exodus of Presbyterians from the PCUSA and other groups a generation ago. This exodus took place because of PCUSA compromise over homosexuality and THE VERY SAME “social gospel ” Keller has helped flood into the PCA moving it toward the same failed fate today.

In the last two weeks a long time Keller protege’ Scott Sauls was removed from his church pulpit in Nashville for a creating a “culture of abuse ” among his staff and church members. Sauls had helped plan and endorse Revoice from Fall of 2017 and openly endorsed it and stood with gay activist PCA pastor Greg Johnson who hosted Revoice at his Memorial PCA church. This controversy and Saul’s support of it have continued to divide and conquer and split the PCA. TGC favorite emergent Mark Driscoll had been removed years ago after being exposed for a culture of abuse at his church.

THERE IS A PATTERN HERE WITH THE TGC/KELLER INFLUENCE AND THE PENDING COLLAPSE OF HIS OWN MOVEMENT.

Long time TGC Council member and Keller supporter Harry Reeder of Briarwood PCA was killed in an automobile crash the day before Keller passed away from cancer after a multi year battle.

Reeder pastored Briarwood Presbyterian Church follwing founding pastor Frank Barker. Briarwood is one of the two flagship churches which founded the PCA. The other was D. James Kennedy’s Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A major TGC influencer Tullian Tchividjian and favorite emergent spokesman followed Kennedy as pastor and split Coral Ridge Church even excommunicating Kennedy’s family members and daughter for resisting his emergent, antinominan ,cheap grace gospel. Soon afterwards Tchividjian was exposed for deeply troubling immorality himself.

Briarwood Church was suffering from the WOKE invasion of the false justice teachings in its school and ministries under long time TGC leadership Council member Pastor Harry Reeder. Reeder was also under investigation by the Evangel Presbytery in Birmingham Al. for similar issues as Keller protege’ Scott Sauls.

Because of TGC influence and an unbridled ,unaccountable growth of the Keller legacy among young pastors in the PCA- the movement and its churches are seeing splits and massive repartures of long time members. The negative impact on his own movement by Keller and his TGC are measured in both lost members and fading influence in and of the church.

MORE ON IASC AND CONCLUSION

IASC drafted the Lausanne “Civilitas” documents -a movement to push Third Way Fabian Socialism in the churches globally. Keller was a committed globalist and worked within the Big Eva machine he was a product of in order to move the church toward alignment with “Global Goals” deceptions. … BUT because he could appear thoughtful and contemplative as he polished THEIR talking points- he will forever be remebered by many as one of the “most influential Christians of modern times”. At this stage only a powerful move of the Holy Spirit can bring about a turn around from the damaging harvest the church is now reaping from the seeds sown by Keller , TGC and similar groups and ministers.

AWANA IS CHANGING THOUGH NEW CEO ATTEMPTED TO DENY CONCERNS

Pastors and Children’s ministry leaders began expressing concerns some time after numerous publications revealed the WOKE trending of AWANA and its Child Discipleship Forum (CDF) events and resources began showing a steady presence of TGC thought leaders into the AWANA ministry.

For several years now, under the leadership of new CEO Matt Markins, AWANAs new CDF has been using voices like Sam Allberry ( Same sex attracted priest/inclusion activist) who endorsed REvoice LGBTQ Thriving in conservativev churches and whose ministry Living Out put forth a 2018 “LGBTQ Inclusion Church Audit”) , Jared Kennedy ( author the ERLC “Parents Guide to Teaching Your Children about Gender” – endorsing and resourced by Revoice founder Nate Collins) , Andy Crouch ( progressive think tank leader /Revoice leader /former CT editor), Christopher Yuan (SSA/ AIDS victim/ and LGBTQ inclusion advocate) and Rebecca McLaughlin ( TGC WOKE /SSA /Justice/feminist advocate) and many others to message a new culturally relevant and conversation based approach to children’s discipleship. These “conversations focus HEAVILY on issues of sexuality and gender and are geared to dialectical internal social change 

Also racial activists who advocated for BLM and who operate among groups who are trending toward wealth redistribution /DE&I / Social and Economic Justice have been included in the CDF events. The inclusion of such voices in the historically solid “Biblical Memory” verse ministry is understandably troubling. Now the “Resources” are being rolled out for parents and churches with similar troubling sources and partnerships. 

This factual overview of ongoing changes in AWANA and its new CDF are provided so that parents, pastors, and children’s ministry leaders can make their own informed decisions about these concerns and the future of their child discipleship.

After concerns over AWANA /CDF trending WOKE first surfaced IN 2021 and were discussed in detail by this and other publications, AWANA put forth a 5 page denial of any compromise or direct influence into or changes to the AWANA resources for children’s ministry. The central theme of denials over concerns that CDF hosted WOKE and justice activist/ SSA LGBTQ inclusion speakers was that featuring and platforming the speakers “is not an endorsement of everything they say”. Following along with CEO Matt Markins thinking here – it is absolutely imperative to follow the cultural conversations to help disciple children today .Though true on some level Markins appears to be saying that the “New Map ” he is advocating for comes from the culture. This assertion is made after admitting that children and youth are being bombarded with the transgender issue everywhere else so that “proves” we should follow the conversation – and do so from the resources like Carl Trueman , Jared Kennedy, Axis.org /ERLC / Nate Collin Sam Allberry,others  which CDF/AWANA are providing. Followers are left to wonder why the Bible Memory Verse ministry needs a “New Map” based culture.

AWANA CEO Markins used the 2022 CDF to FEATURE a discussion of the “need” for doing away with the ” Old Maps” which well meaning but perhaps poorly informed children’s ministry leaders have been using and for the adoption of “a NEW MAP” for discipling children for the modern era.

 Here THIS AWANA/CDF article is admitting that the “New Map” is a “Blueprint” being written by the culture via “Cultural  Formation”.- at the same time Markins is promoting the “New Maps” needed to reach youth and make “resilient disciples”.

Why must AWANA /CDF leave the simple approach of the “Old Map” of memorizing Bible verses?

Also why must the “New Map” be driven by the culture and involve progressive activist voices?

Matt Markins CEO of AWANA- “While we are having the same sorts of conversations about an old map, however, the world is blueprinting a brand-new map. This new map is unlike anything the world has ever seen — a world where a child can choose their own gender while not even consulting a parent”

“.So how did we arrive at this new map? And are we prepared? The world’s new map is the culture in which today’s child now lives, and this culture is designed to form expressive individualists. With elements on the map such as mobile screens, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and an under-prepared (or even disengaged) parent — a whole new terrain has been forged. And it’s not only producing childhood confusion, but also emotional isolation, persistent anxiety and a variety of mental-health conditions. It’s in this uncharted portion of the world’s new map that the transgender revolution has sprung up seemingly like a new city overnight. This new city that has come to life so rapidly is going to require dialogue, prayer, wisdom and collaboration. So how do we go from where we are today to where we need to be for the sake of forming child disciples of Jesus Christ in today’s world?”

PUSHING CONVERSATIONS AND PROMOTING CONVERSATION GUIDES.

Markins co-founder with CDF is also focused on “CULTURE” and “storytelling and collaboration”.

“Michael Handler is the Chief Communications Officer at Awana. He has 18 years of experience in business and ministry. Through engaging storytelling and collaboration, he helps leaders understand the culture and creatively solve problems. “

So who is writing the “New Map” ? According to the CDF article -it is the culture -and we need to leave behind the “Old Maps” like explorers who believed the earth was flat and “arrive at the New Map” which is being blueprinted by culture , cultural formation and awareness.

Begs the question- what Bible Memory Verse would NOT AGREE with these assertions?

Jeremiah 6: 16 “Thus says the Lord:”

“Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

CAN WE – MUST WE – SEEK THE ANCIENT PATH BY A “NEW MAP”

Markins continues – “So how did we arrive at this new map? And are we prepared? QUESTIONS – For the Biblically literate parents, pastors and children’s ministers “Is there anything new under the sun ” as Solomon refuted? Has not EVERY CULTURE and every parent in every generation faced the same timeless challenges to engage their families while living in totally pagan and idolatrous cultures? And in every supernatural and practical way has not the GOSPEL ALWAYS WORKED found a way to reach every generation without altering its simple Biblical approach to letting the WORD of GOD SPEAK FOR ITSELF?

AWANA CDF 2023 ads seem to affirm this truth while their “Old Maps” vs “New Maps” rhetoric seems to deny it and “COMPLEXIFY” the “need”.

“This is not the first generation to be challenged in their faith; throughout the Bible and Church history men and women have courageously followed God even amid persecution. What was different about them? And more pressing, How can we raise children with a spirit like that?”

While AWANA CDF is offering an assertion of remaining biblically based- why is it promoting activist voices who complexify how biblical child discipleship must be re-envisioned and REVOICED with “New Maps” ?

“COMPLEXIFICATION :The act or process of making something more complex.”

The Bible was not written by simpletons but its truths are timeless and its applications so pure and non complex that a child can own them as theirs. Jesus commended and commanded “Child Like Faith” from all of us.

Matthew 18:

³ and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 19:

¹⁴ But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

WHERE DOES JESUS ENGAGE COMPLEXIFICATION IN HIS APPROACH TO THE GOSPEL FOR ANYONE-INCLUDING CHILDREN?

ANSWER- NOWHERE. Though the Word of God contains the most in depth insights into human nature and to God Himself and the mysteries of Redemption and the world to come. So why does Children’s discipleship suddenly need it?

Markins concludes with the word and concept of being “winsome”  which is a favorite of the current editor of CT Russell Moore, the former head of the ERLC who  first introduced MOST of these SSA/SOGI/ LGBTQ actiivst voices we now find at AWANA/CDF. Moore was also called “The Man From Issachar” by his mentor Albert Mohler who educated and employed Revoice LGBTQ Thriving founder Collins at SBTS. Words like Winsome have become virtue signalling terms and dog whistles for those who adhere to Moore’s progressive- divisive- and accusatory rhetoric against the household of faith. It was Russell Moore who, after being forced out of his role at the SBCs ERLC accused the Southern Baptist Conventionof being “filled with sex abuse ,cover ups and racism” helping launch the #churchtoo movement and an outside investigation by secular forces bent on forcing the Baptist into mandated “Diversity Equity and Inclusion Compliance”. 

Markins   -“As a member of the children’s ministry community for over 20 years, if there is one thing I’ve learned about leaders like you, it’s that your creativity, grit and faithfulness is winsome. You just seem to find ways to “get stuff done!” and for that you are admired. Along the way, however, we must also carve out time and space for dialogue, collaboration and prayer about making child disciples in the new world. We must pray and learn more about how to form resilient disciples in our secular age. We have a saying at Awana that goes like this: “We are centered on the Gospel and rooted in the Scriptures, and we will never move one inch off of the Bible.” I pray that as you navigate the new world you will stay rooted in biblical faithfulness and are as wise as the Men of Issachar; may you be men and women who understand the times and know just what to do.”

David Kinnaman and Catherine Hwang-Jin shared data from recent surveys that will shed light on the relationship you have with your senior pastor and with the parents of the kids in your ministry. There is so much to unpack, it is worth another look.

• Rebecca McLaughlin, Carl Trueman and Derwin Gray challenged us to think about how we perceive those who are different from us – in race, skin color, affiliation, sexual identity, etc. “Christianity is the most diverse belief system in the world,” said Rebecca. “We must reclaim diversity.”
• Among the many nuggets of truth Carl spoke, is this one: “We all need a place where we can find validation and support. We need the church to be … a safe place where [anyone] can go to be encouraged that [they] have done the right thing even if it may have cost [them].”
• Derwin inspired us to pursue reconciliation. “It is intrinsic to the Gospel and must be normalized in the formation of our kids and our local churches. But you cannot give away what you do not possess.”

CONCLUSION

It is unlikely that current  leaders at AWANA or ACSI or any of these historically reliable and trustworthy ministries will listen to the concerns of parents unless pastors and children’s ministry leaders share those concerns and back up those who raise them. Revenue may be the only language being understood  at the moment. 

According to its own annual reports – AWANA is receiving significant annual contributions which now comprise a larger percentage of its total  revenue as sales decline and they become more dependent on possible “outside the church” funding. This issue is at the core of the invasion of  once conservative seminaries and many other once BIBLICALLY faithful ministries. 

Those who do speak up are often rebuked by accusations of some inapplicable “violation ” and twisted context of Matt 18 :15-17 which deals with how to confront private SIN. These verses do  NOT speak to how to deal with open sin, false teaching and errors impacting the church. Paul confronted Peter openly and rebuked him publically. 

If you or your church leaders or even pastors are concerned about these influences impacting your children -perhaps for the sake of disabling and dis-empowering  false claims of “violating Matt 18 :15-17” you can contact AWANA/CDF leaders like Matt Markins or others like ACSI but thus far they have not listened to multiple others who have/ are attempting to “right the ship” and protect their children and churches and EVEN these once wonderful ministries from descending into the “Cultural Blueprint” and the same paths mapped out by those God left wandering in the wilderness or destroyed for their love of the cultures and idols of the disposed nations around them. 

Dealing with a Sinning Brother

15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

Instead this author continues to remind pastors and ministry heads and organizational leaders like AWANA that these concerns are indeed Matt 18 matters but it is verse 6 which applies and we should all take heed to Jesus’ intense warning.

At this stage in the decline of the church in our generation the organizations contributing to that decline no longer feel the need to maintain a careful image of biblical fidelity. ENCOURAGEMENT FOR PILGRIMS FROM THE BOOK OF EXODUS”

“As they grew in number in a foreign land, the people of Israel fell under the oppression of a ruler who forgot the old ways and rejected God. But from generation to generation God never forgot his chosen people. He tells them, “I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God” (Ex. 6:7a). Though these exiles doubted and dithered, God delivered them from Egypt and from the wilderness. Prone to wander, the people of God found a home in the land flowing with milk and honey, a land where God would make them a “kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Exo 19:6) so that they would “proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Pet 2:9). Through his people, God’s glory would extend to all the world with the good news of hope.“

But what is The Gospel Coaltiion really offering believers here? Can the organization which has helped bring the church outside the call of God and into the WOKE wilderness be the source of brining it hope? Only if that organization has repented and seeks to lead the way for church wide repntance. That is not what is happening here.

SOME OF THE TGC SPEAKERS

David Platt – Platt and his organization “Radical” ( which is also a sponosr of TGC23 ) are promoting social justice / WOKE globalism and using partnerships among interfaith/ multifaith international globalist organizations like WEF/UN/ CIA / OPEC in and effort to redistribute missions dollars and resources toward “equity”. Platt participated in marches during BLM events and signed up to participate with Revoice leaders LGBTQ inclusion movement. Members of his own church near DC are suing him in an ongoing legal battle to have him removed as pastor.

JD Greear- Greear is the three time past President of the Southern Baptist Convention who led the largest protestant denomination in the America into the # MeToo movement and the hands of feminist promoting Diversity Equity and Inclusion compliance . Greear promotes TGC compromise inside his and Platt’s SBC movement and became a court jestor of leadership when he was caught plaigerizing sermons on Romans maintaining that “God whispers about homosexuality” in the Bible.

Sam Allberry- Allberry is a leader in the push among evangelicals for LGBTQ welcome and hospitality in the church. Allberry became a star of TGC and the ERLC events and web presence with his book “Is God Anti Gay” and continues to be among the most controversial “inclusion ” advocates and activist among conservatives.

Vincent Bacote – Bacote is a racially focused author and speaker pushing race topics through his worls like “Black Scholars in White Space: New Vistas in African American Studies from the Christian Academy; On Kuyper; Aliens in the Promised Land: Why Minority Leadership Is Overlooked in White Christian Churches and Institutions; Keep Your Head Up; and Prophetic Evangelicals. “

Collin Hansen -Hansen is the aging author of “Young Restless and Reformed” which, through the help of John Piper and his “Passion Conferences” and his role at TGC from its inception, has camputred and corrupted a generation of young pastors in the mire of Kuyperism / dominionism/ and justice driven errors. In an interview with ABC Hansen admitted that TGC was founded to correct and influence the voting patters of evangelicals away from “the right ” and toward progressivism.

Jared Kennedy – Kennedy’s work with the Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberties Commission included a “Parents Guide to Discussing Gender with Children”.In his guide Kennedy used the pro LGBTQ inclusion and “LGBTQ Christianity” advocate and activist- founder of the Revoice movement’s book “All But Invisible” as his primary resource.

Greg Koukl and Sean McDowell – Both of Stand to Reason apologetics and Biola University have helped create a rebranding of youth apologetics combining silliness and showmanship with “Rethinking Apologetics” introducing progressives views on sexuality and gender like SOGI and inclusion.

Rebecca McLaughlin – McLaughlin is a rising “star” among TGC and other compromised movements with her WOKE focused “Confronting Christinaity” series. She is an actiivst also claming some level of gay/sexual minority status in her Christian faith.

Jake Meador – Meador is the current head of the progressive Davenant Insitute and an editor of third way social gospel publication “Mere Orthodxy” which panders to a micro-market share among progressive “Christian ” media outlets.

Alan Nobel – Nobel is a part of the Obama Foundation and Democratic Party efforts among TGC and Send Network pastors called “The & Campaign” leadership. She also serves as VP for Faith and Justice Initiatives at the AND Campaign… She has been published in His Testimonies, My Heritage and the AND Campaign’s A New Narrative on Abortion: Pro-Woman and Pro-Child. She is compelled by her Christian faith to stand and advocate on behalf of those harmed by injustice. “

Tom Schreiner – Schreiner is the Dean of the School of Theology at SBTS- the flagship semianry of the SBC. He is one of three compromised professors who oversaw and approved the dissertation of the founder of Revoice LGBTQ Thriving in Conservative Churches movement .The dissertation asserts that the use of the term “Virgin ” in the New Testament is proof of a “third gender ” option in the New Testamant . Revoice founder Nate Collins has also been a TGC regular contributor and taught New Testament and was a “Garrett Fellow at SBTS under Schreiner while launching the pro LGBTQ Chrisitan movement.

Jen Wilkin – Wilken is a favorite among WOKE Women speakers and is a leader at the Village Church of now exposed and disgraced pastor and TGC leader Matt Chandler. CONCLUSION

The main reason the WOKE Justice advocates are ramping up without fear of God or fear of being exposed is in part, like Satan himself, they know their time is short. Exposure has them abandoning prior subtleties for a more agressive approach risking alienation of the following of an older generation in order to secure their hold on the next gen church. The older, fading bilbical conservative generation is no longer the target.It is possible these organizations no longer need the baby boomers money so thye are doubling down on their goals. THESE PEOPLE ARE AFTER THE FAITH OF YOUR GRAND CHILDREN TO TRANSFORM IT INTO THEIR OWN IMAGE. So how do biblically faithful Christians respond? Rise up and LEAVE THE WOKE WASTELAND CHURCHES .Pray and speak and live out the True Gospel to the next generation and watch the pending judgement on these deconstructionist which is fitting and pending … in time.
