NYC mayor urged his newly deployed “contact tracers” NOT to report people who participated in Black Lives Matter protest. Yet de Blasio of NY joined many other Democratic Party local officials and mayors accross the nation to take very opportunity to attack the present administrations Covid-19 response leading up to the November election.
A California woman took the on line lessons to be come a contact tracer in California (the state which has banned singing in churches ) and provided documentation of the process and tactics involved in contact tracing and its quarantine mandates.

ERLC encourages church, civic partnership on COVID-19 contact tracing
WASHINGTON (BP) — “Churches should partner with government officials to fight the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) while receiving First Amendment protections as they cooperate, the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission said in a new statement.”
“The ERLC issued a document July 10 that provides guidance to church and civic leaders regarding the effort to protect public health, particularly through the process known as contact tracing. In the procedure, trained workers contact people who may have been exposed to COVID-19 so those potentially infected individuals can isolate from others and thereby prevent the spread of the virus.”
“The ERLC’s “Statement of Principles of Church-Civic Partnership on Contact Tracing” was released as COVID-19 cases are increasing in many states after periods of decline. As of Monday (July 13), 135,400 deaths from COVID-19 and more than 3.33 million confirmed cases have been reported in the United States, according to Johns Hopkins University.”

“Most churches and other religious bodies have returned to in-person, corporate worship after abiding by government restrictions that prevented such gatherings during the first several weeks of the pandemic. The return to in-person meetings offers the potential for exposure to people with the virus even when churches implement such measures as social distancing and the wearing of masks.”
“Contact tracing could be the next tension point between church leaders and civic leaders, but it doesn’t have to be so,” said Brent Leatherwood, a statement co-author and ERLC chief of staff. “We thought it was important to provide a framework for leaders in both spheres to consider how it could be done in a way that respects the roles and duties that church and state play in serving their communities during this crisis.”

“Here is how California’s contact tracing training online shows it works . CT workers are trained to track and notify people via cell phone and other tracing methods. IF you have returned to work- a big if still for many and someone at work- or on the train or bus or in the diner or fast food at lunch – or at church – or an event you have been to test positive … then everyone -including your entire work force and all those other locations you and the determined infected person has been in contact with are forced into 14 day quarantine .”…..” How often can it happen? Every time a new “case ” is diagnosed . Who pays for the lost time at work? Supposedly your employer who has been unable to run the company for months and still at 1/2 or 1/4 scale – and his h/her Workman’s Comp insurance”
CONTACT TRACING – THE LATEST ERLC CHURCH GROWTH STRATEGY?
Churches are already struggling to meet and to survive . How many people would want one more possible exposure to being placed in yet another mandatory quarantine for 14 days by coming to church which has it’s own “in house tracers” and trained cyber snitches? Guess no one has really thought his one through.

“The move comes one month after 27 House Republicans called for Ferrell to be fired after it was revealed that his wife, Taylor Ferrell, the founder of Southland Advantage, a Hendersonville-based political consulting firm, had been working for two challengers of incumbent Republicans.”
“Therefore, as the Executive Committee of the Wilson County Republican Party, we immediately demand that the State Executive Committee call a special session to consider the immediate termination of Ryan Haynes as Chairman, Brent Leatherwood as Executive Director, Walker Ferrell as Political Director and to terminate all contracts with Taylor Ferrell and to issue public apologies on behalf of the Tennessee Republican Party to all Republican Incumbents affected by their actions,” the resolution states.
“We want them all fired because it destroys faith in the process,” Jeff Hartline, vice-secretary of the Wilson County Republican Party Executive Committee, said on Monday.The process he was referring to is a provision in the state GOP bylaws that prohibits the Wilson County Republican Party and similar entities throughout the state from being involved in primary elections.”
