The world has been in confusion since this scene was played out in the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Olympics but the reason for the confusion is that the imagery was obvious but once the reactions and deep offense began to be shared on social media , the organizers, including the “queer art director” who is responsible for the scene DENIED IT WAS THE LORD’S SUPPER ” being depicted , claiming that it was the Greek god of wine and NOT Christ and his disciples.
The admisstion appears to have first come from the actor portrating Dionysus and the others organizers began to officially retract their denials.

“An organizer of the Paris Olympics said that the drag performance during Friday’s opening ceremony was a nod to Greek mythology, not the Last Supper.
Thomas Jolly, the artistic director for the ceremony, told French news channel BFM TV on Sunday that the inspiration for that scene was the Greek god Dionysus, according to NBC’s “Today.” His comments come after the opening ceremony included a scene that some said looked like Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of the Last Supper.
“There is Dionysus who arrives on this table. He is there because he is the god of celebration in Greek mythology,” Jolly said, according to NBC. “The idea was to have a pagan celebration connected to the gods of Olympus. You will never find in me a desire to mock and denigrate anyone.”

Thomas Jolly, the artistic director of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony has defended the production as a symbol of ‘inclusion’. Jolly’s vision included a parody of the ‘Last Supper’ with drag queens, transgenders and naked dancers involved which invited worldwide criticism.
Addressing the reporters on Sunday (Jul 28), Jolly said ‘diversity’ was the key point of the opening ceremony and this is what his production intended to achieve.
“Our subject was not to be subversive. We never wanted to be subversive. We wanted to talk about diversity. Diversity means being together,” Jolly said.
“Jolly, a French native from Normandy, who works as a theatre artist added that France was a free country and that it was artistic freedom on display during the ceremony.
“We wanted to include everyone, as simple as that. In France, we have freedom of creation, artistic freedom. We are lucky in France to live in a free country. I didn’t have any specific messages that I wanted to deliver,” said Jolly.
“In France, we are a republic, we have the right to love whom we want, we have the right not to be worshippers, we have a lot of rights in France, and this is what I wanted to convey,” he added. “

“While Jolly defended the ceremony, Paris 2024 organisers apologised to Catholics and other Christian groups angered after various artists posed like Jesus and his Twelve Apostles from Leonardo da Vinci’s painting.
“Clearly there was never an intention to show disrespect to any religious group. (The opening ceremony) tried to celebrate community tolerance,” Paris 2024 spokesperson Anne Descamps told a press conference.
“We believe this ambition was achieved. If people have taken any offence we are really sorry.”

Christians and normal people the world over need to better understand the global LGBTQ+ agenda- those activist involved, their culture and tactics AND the global cabal behind the hard sell -wholesale push of it on a global scale. This is not about the freedoms of a few but about the drive to normalize the LGBTQ+ identiites , disrupt human sexuality and human rights, redefine family, and promote birthrate lowering alternative sexual identities and behaviour on a global scale. Brent Leatherwood as President of the Ethics and religious Liberties Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention carries on the legacy of his controversial and now former boss Russell Moore who is now editor of the progressive publication Christianity Today .
Leatherwood would no doubt have a 6 figure salary, a five million dollar plus budget, offices in Nashville TN and DC, a full staff and access to the seats of power in DC including the Capital and the Whitehouse..and is the voice representing Southern Baptist political views.
According the TN political organizers Leatherwood came out of controversey in his job at the Tennessee GOP during the Hillary Clinton campaign as he is said to have helped in a team effort at the GOP to subvert conservative candidates and undermine Trump pledged GOP delegates. He was then hired by Russell Moore and advanced to Chief of Staff at ERLC under Moore. After Moore was fired in 2021 Leatherwood became interim President and then affirmed by 100% vote of the ERLC Trustees giving him the job as President of the ERLC full time.
Leatherwood’s controversies have been many at ERLC including his role in having this writer expelled by Dallas PD with the false accusation that (I) threatened someone. He later drew fire as ERLC President pushing for gun control laws and seeking to hide the manifesto of the Trans- shooter in the TN Christian School shooting via a non profit Leatehrwood had formed which chlaimed ownership of the Shooters Manifesto which was evidence of the state ina mass murder. Not sure how that idea ever floated.The Manifesto was later leaked
His most recent controversy resulting in his announced firing was his calling of the departure of President Biden from the 2024 campaign a “Selfless Act”.This intellectually dishonest statement in a tweet was followed by an article with much of the same rhetoric and signalling a departurefrom his base by the Trump stance on abortion AND his own loking to the Democratic party to signal to pro life supporters that it ( the party who funded Planned Parenthood billions of dollars since the Obama administration began) will take the opportunity to reach out and signla support of pro life voters convictions. (This would be considered a Class C Assault by Texas Law https://codes.findlaw.com/tx/penal-code/penal-sect-22-01.html) Russell Moore’s employee Leatherwood attempted to prevent the conversation but Moore did indeed talk about the Revoice Conference “promoting LGBT+ Flourishing in historic Christian tradition”. WE DID discuss that his ERLC Fellow was a contributor endorsing Revoice and a favorite ERLC consultant was speaking at Revoice. We had a conversation about it. I mentioned this to the officer and that it was in spite of Leatherwood[‘]s effort to physically prevent it. “Is that what this is about?” I asked. Nothing was confirmed or denied at this point.”

The SBC ethics arm has zero respect from biblical conservatives in the SBC. Leatherwood has a ongoing reputation for political subversion. He is widly unpopular with pastors and the churches who pay his salary and now his in again- out- and back in position in a 12 hour period at the ERLC is both heart sicken and INSULTING . Numerous studies assert that transgender and gender nonconforming students suffer from increased psychological, emotional, and physical harassment and abuse, and that transgender youth experience an abnormally high number of suicidal thoughts and make an abnormally high number of suicide attempts.
Faced with these concerns, various California school districts have adopted policies under which the school respects the wishes of students who ask to be treated as a gender different from their natal sex, while also making parents aware that the school is participating in the social transition of their child.
These policies ensure that school districts do not betray the extraordinary trust placed in them by parents, who otherwise would be misled about a monumental change to the development of their child and to that child’s official and unofficial school records.
These parental notification policies often address not only gender transition but also myriad other issues that parents would want or need to know about their child’s education and development.
For example, if a student is injured, bullied, or exhibits suicidal behavior at school, but does not want their parents to know, a school will notify the parents. If a student breaks their arm, hits their head, or develops a fever, the school will immediately tell the student’s parents. If a student is bullied or involved in a verbal or physical fight, the school will tell the parents. If a student expresses a desire to hurt or kill themself, the school will tell the parents. So, too, must a school tell parents if a student has asked the school to participate in that student’s gender transition.
But through Assembly Bill 1955 (“AB 1955”) California now seeks to bar schools from adopting policies that would require notifying parents when their children may be at increased risk of psychological, emotional, and physical harassment and abuse, and extremely high rates of suicide and suicide attempts. Specifically, AB 1955 states that a “school district . . . shall not enact or enforce any policy, rule, or administrative regulation that would require an employee or a contractor to disclose any information related to a pupil’s . . . gender identity[] or gender expression to any other person without the pupil’s consent . . .” (emphasis added). This means that, no matter how young a child is, a school cannot tell the child’s parents the school is socially transitioning their child without the minor’s “consent.”
This action is brought on behalf of Chino Valley Unified School District and certain California parents of children in the public school system who seek to bar California from implementing. On July 15, 2024, Defendant Governor Newsom signed AB 1955 into law. Absent judicial intervention, AB 1955 will take effect January 1, 2025.
AB 1955 makes several changes to the California Education Code regarding the treatment of children who request to “socially transition” their gender at school, which refers primarily to adopting a new name and/or pronouns that differ from one’s natal sex.
AB 1955 provides in relevant part that “[a]n employee or a contractor of a school district . . . shall not be required to disclose any information related to a pupil’s . . . gender identity[] or gender expression to any other person without the pupil’s consent.” Cal. Ed. Code § 220.3.
AB 1955 also prohibits all California school districts from “enact[ing] or enforc[ing] any policy, rule, or administrative regulation that would require an employee or a contractor to disclose any information related to a pupil’s . . . gender identity[] or gender expression to any other person without the pupil’s consent, unless otherwise required by state or federal law.” Cal. Ed. Code § 220.5(a).
AB 1955 further provides that “[a]ny policy, regulation, guidance, directive, or other action of a school district . . . that is inconsistent with” the previous section “is invalid and shall not have any force or effect.” Id. § 220.5(c).
Taken together, these provisions upend the traditional relationship between students, their parents, and their teachers.
Notably, AB 1955 includes within its scope all students in California school districts— including students in preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, and high school. Thismeans that if a four-year-old student requested to change their gender at school, their parents might not be
notified without that four-year-old’s consent.
Notifying parents of significant events that impact their children at school—such as when they are injured, bullied, or express a desire to self-harm—is, of course, the norm. But AB 1955 carves out special exceptions for school policies that have the effect of notifying parents if their child asks their school to facilitate the child’s social transition due to changes in their gender identity.

Some students have come to know Christ through the school then led their families to come to church. Founders Ministries is one of several parachurch groups and movements seeking to offer themselves as hopeful reformers for the sick and dying Southern Baptist Convention. Others include Conservative Baptist Network (CBN), G3 Ministires ( the founder of which has already left the SBC) ,the fairly new Center for Baptist Leadership ( with “leadership” coming from a disciple of two of SBC chief stealthy WOKE troublers Albert Mohler and Mark Dever) . Also Founders has made alliances with secular media appearing more like CONTROLLED OPPOSITION than actual reformers. Now Founders are promoting a deepening of their alliance with the misguided OPERATIVES in the long term disaster and self parody calling for the “abolition of abortion”.
NOTE- THIS MOVEMENT WILL PROVIDE ONE OF THE GREATEST FUND RAISING SPECTACLES FOR THE PRO -ABORTION LOBBY YET- AT THE EXPENSE OF THE GOSPEL.
Sure on the surface to imagine a world where the sin of Abortion is outlawed and eliminated sounds like a true Pro-Life position . But in the post Roe-v-Wade era with the momentary battle moved back from the federal level to the states and abortions going from clinics to self administered chemical termination… the changing landscape offers a much more grim set of realities than the Abolitionist Manifesto and these Baptist Calvinist can seem to COMPREHEND and are subscribing to.
REALITY CHECK ON FOUNDERS EFFORTS AS REFORMERS OF THE SBC:
There is mounting evidence against looking to Tom Ascol and Founders Ministries to actually offer any Gospel centered hopes for the dying SBC.
A short list:
Founders was a divisive and subversive effort from its own founding as early leaders admit in the book “A Quiet Revolution” recounting their work to lure new seminary graduates and gain pulpits by stealth with their brand of Neo Calvinist reformation.
Current Founders head Tom Ascol and other leaders CANNOT fully break ties with their historic allies like Albert Mohler, John Piper and John MacArthur no matter how fringe and tainted they have become. Founders continue close reliance and associations with the Neo Calvinist/TGC/T4G/ 9MARKS leaders organizations and many seminaries under their control and which have been infected with WOKE funding for years.
Founders Ministries remain popular among pastors of many small churches with very low membership and almost no evangelism. There is simply no growth and the primary function appears to be promoting their brand of Calvinist doctrine.
The Founders brand is more 70s era “fundamentaist/Bob Jones” seasoned with a VERY heavy focus on Calvinism.This often attracts mean spirited and arrogant followers who love to argue “theology” and view the gospel endgame as being ” RIGHT”.
The early Founders Ministries movement actually made possible the rise of the horrific influence of Calvinist Tim Keller’s The Gospel Coalition- a progressive political movement wraped in Calvinist theology.
After the TGC damage became undeniable -Founders and Ascol efforts with the “Dallas Statement” proved YEARS LATE & failed to alter the WOKE Justice trajectory of the SBC.
Founders and Ascol appear unable to recognize the real enemy and the larger issues allowing themselves to become a part of the window dressing and media circus during annual SBC meetings.
Founders and Ascol chose to ally with Charlie Kirk and the TPUSA Faith movement despite Kirk’s long history of pro LGBTQ+ inclusive/Libertarian , not Biblical Conservative, political stances.
Founders and Ascol continue to ally with people like Jeff Durbin – one of the “Abolitionist” leaders known for his underhanded recording of church member counseling sessions and public basking in celebrity through the glorification of violent martial arts rooted in false Eastern Religions. -A brief history of Durbin’s bio quoted here should confirm need for serious concern over this Founder’s Calvinism / Abolisionist ally. -” Durbin is a former hospital chaplain who is a world champion martial artist with five Black Belts. He played Michelangelo and Donatello for the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise as well as Johnny Cage in “Mortal Combat” the world-tour. He also appeared as a fighter in MTV’s “The Final Fu.”
Tom Ascol seems unable to recognize controlled opposition when he is being used by it.
FOUNDERS and Ascol seem to only recently be searching for and finding their political voice after being MIA for much of the progressive lefts progress among Christians.
Founders and all it’s leaders seem to think that the answer to the many many years of damage done by “Neo-Calvinist” can be remedied by … MORE CALVINISM.
Founders has yet to admit to itself and to other Southern Baptist the role it’s own activities and theological movement has played in the decline of the SBC since 1983.
Tom Ascol proved the weakness of the movement in his failed attempt to become President of the SBC – “Out of 5,587 votes cast, Barber received 3,401 (60.87%), and Florida pastor Tom Ascol received 2,172 votes (38.88%). “
Tom Ascol has chosen a woman from secular media to front his current opposition and give voice to “exposing” the problems false teachers and dirty funding have created. More on this later BUT Ascol is choosing a woman to stand behind and be Founders bold and outspoken “prophetess” while entering the SBC annual meetings.The 2024 Conventions focus is ironically fighting for “The Law Amendment” to disfellowship churches who ordained and employ women “pastors”. Ascol and Founders seem blind to their own apperance of conflict and cowardice. Meanwhile Founders made a practice of ignoring these same facts while reported on for over a decade and a half by MANY Calvinist researchers. WHY not act when it mattered most and why not use the dedicated researchers from your own camp who are long time theological allies?
Ascol and Founders contniue to use Neo-Calvinist ,longtime TGC leader and SBTS head Albert Mohler as another of their spokespersons over issues like women pastors when the realityis that it is his long term discsiples who brought the “# Church Too”, Revoice LGBTQ, and CRT/BLT WOKE Justice movements into the SBC. Mohlers SBTS Commonweal Project houses the same dirty funding which flooded the false justice WOKE movement into seminaries since 2009- in the name of economics. Even members of Ascol’s own team are tied to this same dirty finding and perhaps noone is supposed to notice.

Laws prohibit prosecution of accidental miscarriages or conviction of mothers who abort their child while under threat of force, mothers whose lives are threatened by a medical emergency, or mothers who truly do not know what they are doing—these mothers are protected from criminal liability by existing legal justifications and defenses of duress, necessity, mistake of fact, among others.
Parents, boyfriends, husbands, and others who pressure or aid a mother to abort her baby are all subject to prosecution.
New technologies are developed to address ectopic pregnancies and other medical emergencies to better protect both mother and child.
Fertility doctors using in vitro fertilization no longer fertilize more eggs than they implant.
Legal and financial barriers to adoption are lowered.
Ultimately, as a society, we and our institutions treat all human life from the moment of fertilization as made in the image of God and deserving of love, respect, and equal protection of the laws.
These actions that are fruits of repentance invite God to withhold His hand of judgment upon our land and extend His hand of blessing.“

Ascol and Founders , in the lead up to the SBC 2024 meetings appear to be seeking to impress Southern Baptist that they are on the cutting edge exposing the error and those responsible for it in the SBC. AGAIN the problem is that in stead of featuring the work of any one of a dozen Reformed researchers over the last decade and a half- Ascol has chosen to feature a long time red carpet /entertainment reporter from the troubled publication WORLD Magazine. The reporter- a woman named Megan Basham- is now a Claremont Institute trained “investigative reporter” for Daily Wire the SECULAR publication led by non Christian , Jewish Ben Shapiro.
Basham picks up on the overworn concept of the “Rented Evangelical” from 5 elections cycles ago in a new book being FEATURED BY Founders and Ascol as well as by the Center for Baptist Leadership (headed by Mark Dever and Albert Mohler trainee William Wolfe.)

Christians must look to the Lord and His Holy Word and PRAY for His intervention
They must also admit and repent of the true state of our nation and the church as the prophet Isaiah did in Chapter One of the prophetic book which bears his name.

One clear vision statement from Lausanne 2010 in South Africa proved their priority to promote the progressive political global warming, justice, gender, sexual and racial agenda via their network of meetings, media, and affiliated organizations. Also the MASSIVE PUSH of the SOGI ( Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity ) Same Sex Attracted Celibacy false narrative was launched during those same South African meetings.

It is not new for Lausanne Movement to be promoting te social gospel. It is not new for it to be promoting an activists narrative on Climate Change or Global Goals/Agenda 2030.
