THE REAL PROBLEM -APART FROM THE RHETORIC –

Biblical Christian conservatives have long fought efforts by the left to paint them “Extremist” and as a “threat to American” and to “Democracy”. Labels and public finger pointing in the media are generally all that is needed to ramp up the anti Christian emotions and isolate convictional believers. It also helps to have a ton of money and the help of a complicit media like Doug Pagitt and “Vote Common Good ” and other similar activist and organizations.

Launch of the new and expanded chapter in the attack on Christians conservatives as”Christian nationalist” was helped along by liberal Religion News Service and an article by “Ruth Braunstein is an associate professor of sociology at the University of Connecticut and the director of the Meanings of Democracy Lab. “

HERE COMES THE LAUNCH OF THE 2024 HATE ON CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIANS.

And according to a recent survey from PRRI, nearly one-third of Americans now hold Christian nationalist attitudes.”

THE RHETORIC- SHAPING A “PLURALIST RESISTANCE “

“According to PRRI, Americans who have heard of Christian nationalism are twice as likely to hold a negative than a positive view of the term. These Americans also reject the specific ideas associated with the ideology. Indeed, the 3 in 10 Americans that PRRI found who align with Christian nationalism to some degree are opposed by nearly the same percentage (29%) who completely reject the ideas associated with Christian nationalism. Another 39% is skeptical.”

“Most importantly, these Americans are joining a growing movement I call the pluralist resistance. They are taking action through a diverse set of organizations that each tackles a different dimension of Christian nationalism’s influence.”

THE GROUPS INVOLVED AND THEIR TACTICS

Amanda Tyler of the Baptist Joint Committee, which leads the Christians Against Christian Nationalism coalition, has been speaking around the country to raise alarms about the dangers of Christian nationalism. MUCH of the push for Christian Nationalism labeling also came from leftist “Conservative Christians in Name Only” like Russell Moore and David French – Others considered to be far more theologically sound and even some trusted Christian journalism outlets joined the confusing chorus seeking to draft evangelical’s political and cultural identity around the false and sticky trap label of “Christian Nationalism.”

Multiple deadly realities face the church and Christians at the moment. The # MeToo movement opened the door for a flood of feminist efforts in the church and among them are forced compliance to DE&I metrics and the sudden SURGE of the Enneagram.

Coupled with Critical Theory , Feminine Theory, Feminist Theology, Intersectionality and a host of racial and sexual minorities behind them- feminist activist both outside and inside the church see themselves as Challengers and Reformers seeking justice and to “fix the broken system” of “male dominated society”.Meanwhile, as they are willing to celebrate the more feminized men who present no threat to progress, the enneagram aids in activist assertions of having found their true selves and identified their personality types and giftings. Culture, Corporations, Institutions and the Church must all make room for their vision of self and revolution to change the status quo.

How can the mainstream Christian Church and believers maintain biblical faithfulness and biblical foundations while following the massive surge of the enneagram with its admittedly new age/ occult origins and use by the compromised Christian movements promoting feminism and feminist theology and every critical theory under the sun?

The answer is THEY CANNOT. This surge of the enneagram among conservative Christians and counseling is proof positive that we are on a collision course with judgement for our own mingled efforts subjecting Gospel Truth to idolatry and error .

The Corrupt Church

IT IS PROBLEMATIC ENOUGH THAT THE CHURCH IS GIVEN TO MANIPULATIVE MARKETING PLOYS AND CULTURAL TRENDS BUT IT IS FAR WORSE WHEN THOSE TRENDS ARE ROOTED IN THE OCCULT AND DEADLY MYSTICISM.

In recent years the groundswell of interest in using the Enneagram for gifting and personality test in churches and Christian institutions has now created a virtual bubble which is bound to explode in many messy and harmful ways inside the church.

The Enneagram is best understood by looking at its origins and among other groups who use it. Given its ties to the New Age religious systems and to the Jewish Mysticism -Kabbalah , it is impossible to suggest that the Enneagram is neutral ground or a safe space for believers.

ENNEAGRAM AND KABBALAH

NOTE-The development of the Jewish Mysticism of Kabbalah is at the heart of the idolatry and spiritual practices accumulated by God’s people during years of disobedience,idolatry and captivity which brought them spiritual ruin resulting in utter blindness to their own Heaven sent Messiah – Jesus.

WHERE DOES IT END?

WARNINGS AGAINST THE ENNEAGRAM ARE GOING MOSTLY UNHEEDED – JUST LIKE THE WARNINGS AGAINST OTHER DANGEROUS INFLUENCES ALREADY INSIDE THE CHURCH.

“Many in America and indeed around the world attend church to learn about God, to learn about ourselves and to connect with God and others. Along with that is a general belief that the church will be spiritually safe. After all, the best source of knowledge about God comes from His self-revelation which is contained in His inspired, inerrant word, the Bible. Many things can be confusing when trying to figure out the Bible on your own. Pastors and church leaders are looked to and relied on to carefully teach and guide the church family. They are trusted to keep false teaching outside the doors, preventing it from springing up within the church. Unfortunately, false teaching operates on a spiritual level like a virus does on a physical level. A pastor, elder or someone they trust may be introduced to new idea, spiritual tool or concept from what is believed to be a reliable source. It may be embraced as a path to a better understanding of God and self. Perhaps it offers a way to greater spiritual growth and perhaps numerical growth for the church. Even with the best intentions and efforts of spiritual leaders, they become spiritually infected and in turn, pass it on to the flock they care for. We would suggest that is what we have been witnessing with so many who have embraced Richard Rohr and the Enneagram he has delivered into the church through his disciples.”

It is claimed to be the “face of God” and each Enneagram number is an individual spiritual path to deeper spiritual understanding and fuller self-awareness. CONCLUSION

Co mingling belief systems of the occult and rooted in idolatry do not end well.Nothing good comes from it -never has and NEVER WILL.

Joshua proves that this is not a new problem and answers with the strongest of rebukes.

TWO MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS HAVE LEFT THE SEX ABUSE “INVESTIGATION” NARRATIVE EXPOSED AND UNABLE TO CONTINUE PROVIDING UNQUESTIONED COVER FOR THE DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION AGENDA IN THE CHURCH. PERHAPS AN EVEN LARGER FAILURE IS BREWING.

( NOTE- Abuse has taken place in churches and has been covered up at times. Even during the SBC “investigations” into the problem the fact that much of the abuse involved same sex and pedophilia has not been included in the narrative nor much of the “fix”. But in the HIGHLY politicized and agenda driven #ChurchToo realm- perception is truth and Critical Theories are the language of choice. God is still going to bring even the most deeply buried truth to light at His accounting. Victims must pray and forgive and move forward- and not look to these players for justice. BAPTIST LEADERS:CLUELESS OR COMPLICIT WITH DE&I OPERATION?

Southern Baptist Convention leaders have displayed disturbing ignorance and inclinations in the last 6 years as the movement has sought to respond to its reported “sex abuse and coverup scandal “. For ONE- Baptist leaders do not seem to recognize feminism or activism nor do they seem to understand what Diversity Equity and Inclusion outcomes will mean for their movement and the trusting churches who are following them. In addition Baptist leaders show utter ignorance or gullibility when it comes to choosing “partners” to bring credibility to their “investigation” and remedies. In fact these Baptist leaders have shown an almost “FETISH -LIKE ” inclination toward the worst kind of PRO-LGBTQUAI and DE&I compliance organizations and firms in the #MeToo realm. How engaging such organizations and firms is supposed to be helpful to the SBC in remaining faithful to God and His Word remains a mystery.By all appearances this is just another chapter in a tangled web of collusion that is only now, after 6 years, coming to the surface in the cesspool of #ChurchToo.

THE FIRST OF TWO COLLAPSING PIECES OF THE “SCANDAL”.

Accusations exploded against an iconic figure of the Baptist “Conservative Resurgence” of the late 1970’s. Paige Patterson being accused launched the SBC into the #MeToo/ Cancel Culture and the international media spotlight. Attacks came from all sides including the feminist wing of the SBC itself and the gielding prophets who serve their long game agenda. Lawsuits began taking flight but now the one involving Paige Patterson and the launch sequence accusations HAS BEEN DISMISSED BY A FEDERAL JUDGE. So it actually looks like that the MUCH HYPED personal attacks against Paige Patterson by Southern Baptist progressives like Russell Moore, Albert Mohler and (soon to be former) SEBTS professor Karen Swallow Prior, among others, were just denominational politics seeking to remove Patterson and topple his status among Conservatives.It then started the cancel culture ball rolling among other long time leaders.

The “CAKE WALK” style in which the abuse “scandal” operation has been deployed has made it a bit too obvious that other agendas were in the wings and unbiblical end games where in play given where the operation is supposed to take the SBC. NO other set of actions in the SBC #ChurchToo has made the hokey nature of the “scandal” MORE OBVIOUS than the repeated and obsessive choice of Guidepost Solutions as the SBC’s go to investigation and resolution parter. Now Guidepost Solution is getting exposed and becoming the cause for growing pushback. But is it too little too late?

THE SECOND LAYER TO PEEL AWAY

Florida’s State Baptist Convention has had enough of their missions offerings going into the SBC Cooperative Funding to pay Guidepost Solutions and its pro-LGBTQ stance.

“Florida Baptist Convention’s State Board Of Missions Responds To Recent Announcement Concerning Guidepost Solutions“

JACKSONVILLE–Florida Baptists’ State Board of Missions, acting ad interim on behalf of the Florida Baptist State Convention, unanimously approved a resolution March 31 expressing deep concern with the utilization of Guidepost Solutions or its subsidiary Faith Based Solutions.” ( Note Faith Based Solutions” was begun inside Guidepost Solutions to handle it’s growing business in the #ChurchToo industry .)

“While affirming “policies and procedures governing abuse prevention, abuse reporting and survivor care,” the resolution stated that “choosing to retain individuals or organizations which actively promote world-views contrary to the teachings of Scripture is simply not good stewardship of the Cooperative Program dollars.”

The resolution, in its entirety, reads as follows:

“A Resolution of the State Board of Missions of the Florida Baptist State Convention Concerning the Decisions by the Southern Baptist Convention’s Executive Committee and the Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force to Retain Guidepost Solutions.”

Whereas the State Board of Missions recommended at the 2021 annual meeting of our state convention the establishment of a taskforce to provide for an independent professional review of all policies and procedures of the convention and its cooperating ministries related to abuse prevention, abuse reporting and survivor care and the results of this review were shared with messengers at the 2022 annual meeting. The taskforce summarized the findings by stating there were “no overwhelming flaws in the policies and procedures”;

Whereas at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention in Nashville, TN, messengers voted to establish a Sexual Abuse Task Force and in September 2021 that taskforce recommended and engaged Guidepost Solutions to carry out an independent assessment and investigation of the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention; 

Whereas in May 2022 the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention separately retained Guidepost Solutions to establish an abuse reporting hotline;

Whereas in June 2022, just prior to the Annual Meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention in Anaheim, California, Guidepost Solutions (the organization hired by the Sexual Abuse Task force of the Southern Baptist Convention) made public statements affirming sexual values at odds with the teaching of Scripture and the convictions of Florida Baptists by publicly supporting the LGBTQ movement;“

“ Whereas Florida Baptist churches have been leaders in Cooperative Program support, contributing 51% of all undesignated receipts given to the Cooperative Program to the CP budget of the Southern Baptist Convention totaling $108,154,986 since 2016; therefore, be it

Resolved, that the State Board of Missions acting ad interim for the Florida Baptist State Convention:

3″urges the Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force and the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention to immediately cease further engagement and negotiations with Guidepost Solutions and its subsidiary Faith Based Solutions;“

4″implores the Abuse Reform Implementation Task Force, prior to the 2023 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, to reevaluate its decision and thereafter engage only providers that share a solidly biblical worldview to develop and maintain the “Ministry Check” website database;

5 calls upon Florida Baptists to attend and make their voices heard at the 2023 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting in New Orleans;

6 directs that following the 2023 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting, June 13-14, 2023, if either Guidepost Solutions or its subsidiary Faith Based Solutions continues to be retained or is further retained by the Southern Baptist Convention in any capacity, then the State Board of Missions acting in its capacity to serve ad interim and on behalf of the Florida Baptist State Convention, directs the Florida Baptist Convention staff to immediately escrow a percentage of funds commensurate with the allocation percentage for the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention , as adopted in the Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program Budget at the 2023 Annual Meeting. God is no doubt cleaning house, He is likely judging the Southern Baptist Church- but some seem to have failed to remember that the church is HIS HOUSE. Moreover -the true church is the Bride of Christ and called to be dedicated as “holiness unto the Lord”- NOT a safe haven for activist promoting social change or progressives looking to make power grabs . Those institutions where these things FLOURISH are in fact not the church at all but empty shells having the name that they live but are DEAD. God is not interested in a rotting corpse that once bore His name and image. Baptist leaders must find their way to the cross and repent of playing political and social posturing with abuse and partnering with the ungodly to supposedly find a path to a biblically faithful future. Kevin DeYoung has risen to the forefront as one of the thought leaders carrying the progressive TGC movement forward while it remains cloaked in theological drag. DeYoung is part of the TGC Leadership Council and is just one example BUT one worth considering in order to understand the seriousness of the compromised influence of TGC and the double mindedness of those who continue to follow its “destructive ways”. In fact DeYoung is considered by many to be a central second generation figure in TGC circles and was rumored to be first pick to take over as head of the organizations.He remains one of its most popular figures and speakers and is held in high esteem for his ability to articulate reformed theology. Like many in TGC DeYoung remains an enigma as he escapes scrutiny and criticism over his conservative reputation and continued TGC affiliation and distorted views on concerns like the false social justice gospel and LGBTQ Inclusion in the church and SSA/ SOGI doctrine . Jarvis Williams- SBTS professor and racial activist who promoted CRT in the Southern Baptist and was part of the “Resolutions Committee ” in 2019 which altered “Resolution 9” condemning Critical race Theory and Intersectionality into affirmations of them.This controversial activist move has deeply divided Southern Baptist to this day. Williams remains a central figure in the invasion of CRT into SBC seminaries and life.

DEYOUNG AND THE LGBTQ MOVEMENT IN THE CHURCH.

Kevin De Young , as a leader in The Gospel Coalition, is a close co-laborer with Tim Keller TGCs co-founder. Both promote a variety of “LGBTQ inclusion and welcome ” messengers / activist like gay identified priest Sam Allberry of “Living Out”.Allberry is a priest from the Church of England and his Living Out ministry has been exposed repeatedly for massive errors including the 2018 “Church Inclusion Audit “. TGC and Keller are at the root of the problematic Revoice LGBTQ Thriving movement in the PCA and SBC.

Yet ironically – Keller and De Young were both selected to be part of the PCA “theological team” to respond to Revoice and the ongoing divisive and deadly fruit of Revoice in the PCA. In addition -focus has yet to be brought to bear on the root of the Revoice movement inside the PCAs Covenant Theological Seminary.

THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION HAS A MAJOR PLAYER IN THE EVANGELICAL SHIFT TOWARD HOMOSEXAULITY.

DeYoung gives nod to the false APA position of “Sexial Orientation ” and will not  call it “sinful” though he says homosexual acts ARE. DeYoung says SSA desire is “disordered” . This position is the entire basis of the error of Mark Yarhouse APA thought leader of Revoice/ Living Out  and the ongoing controversy in the PCA and SBC over homosexuality .

It is a totally unbiblical and false position based on SOGI “Sexual Orientation Gender Identity. Of course TGC subscribed to Mark Yarhouse interfaith /APA position  and White Paper in 2010 and the entire false “Same Sex Attracted but Celibate” narrative of the 2010 Lausanne Movement.

SSA but Celibate position “affirms” the APA false views on ” fixed ” or unchanging -in born sexual orientation while affirming gender identity as “gender fluidity and non binary ” or not determined by biological or birth gender. The end result is the denial of the power of the Gospel and the Cross of Jesus to change homosexuals into heterosexuals and allows for the validation of transgender identity including transgender “Christian” identity.

APA ACTIVIST HISTORY ON HOMOSEXUALITY

The American Psychological Association removed homosexuality in 1973 from the classification of a mental illness after gay activist gained a stronghold in the APA Board. Mark Yarhouse is an “evangelical” who works for the godless APA and has done research and thought development for interfaith communities on LGBTQ/SOGI. NONE of these concepts or the interfaith efforts of Yarhouse OR the APA are biblical or Gospel driven . NONE whatsoever.They are 100% antithetical to the Gospel- yet TGC and those in leadership of it like Carson/ Keller and younger leaders like DeYoung appear to fail to see this reality.

De Young was of one of  first in PCA to comment on the Revoice controversy when THE EXPOSURE of it broke by this writer in April 2018 but he comments only on the “terms” used and on Greg Johnson the PCA host pastor. DeYoung must know the Revoice movement is coming out of Covenant Theological Seminary and that the Revoice leaders have long worked with TGC but takes a “wait and see” critique which is false given the TGC ties to Revoice leaders .How is it possible that he does not know the sources and the outcomes the movement seeks? Revoice founder Nate Collins has worked openly with TGC since at least 2013 and spoken at ETS with other TGC thought leaders annually.

Her academic speciality is “Feminine/ Gender/Queer Theories as informed by Marx/ Freud / Darwin. She is a critical theory expert and “welcome & Inclusion advocate.

Russell Moore- Controversial activist for “stopping culture wars which we lost and just loving our gay and lesbian neighbors” Now out at Southern Baptist after 8 years of pro inclusion conferences and pushing many SOGI based speakers into ERLC/SBC/TGC. ERLC Fellows under Moore endorsed Revoice.

J. D. Greear -Three time SBC President infamous for saying “God whispers about homosexuality in the scripture”. Greear’s Summit Church is fully Yarhouse driven. Brad Hambrick who heads the Counseling ministry at Greear’s Summit church is Yarhouse /SOGI /APA based 

Wesley Hill- Author of “Washed and Waiting” promotes his homosexual orientation in his Christian faith and has been a part of Revoice from 2018 through today. 

D. A. Carson- According to Yarhouse own biography it was TGC co-founder with Tim Keller who commissioned Mark Yarhouse to do the 2010 Whitepaper for TGC’s Christ on Campus ministry. All of TGC looked to this Whitepaper as the gold standard on human sexuality and gender since 2010. 

Christopher Yuan- speaks from a gay identity and contracted AIDS during his active homosexual years. He was introduced to most churches in Russell Moore’s ERLC 2014 conference on homosexuality where fellow TGC leader Albert Mohler apologized for being wrong about (denying ) sexual orientation. Yuan is also a popular voice in TGC circles on the topic. 

Gregory Koukl- is part of the Biola campus Apologetics Department Speakers and heads “Stand To Reason ” apologetics. In 2018 it launched “Rethink Apologetics” which based its youth targeted messaging concerning homosexuality on SOGI and Yarhouse. Other topics were included in Rethink and tended toward more progressive worldview “apologetics” responses. In 2015 Biola made a shift toward welcome and inclusion of LGBTQ after an on campus group began filing complaints in 2012. 

The people endorsing De Young’s book on the topic all hold to the “Welcome and  Inclusion” messaging and SOGI ideology.

NOTE – None of this circle of people will present a fully converted  ” former homosexual” testimony though many- many such believers exist and are vocal witnesses to the power of God to fully change homosexual desire and lead normal lives with families. 

DeYoung is following the serious errors of SOGI which are breaking down the orthodox biblical stance on total transformation by the power of the Gospel.

CONCLUSION

The Gospel Coalition is a progressive and largely politically motivated movement masked as a classic Reformed Theological movement. Herein lies its greatest acceptance and its greatest danger and power to deceive.

“The first session was convened from 4 to 17 September 2018, the second session from 25 March to 5 April 2019 and the third session from 19 to 30 August 2019. The fourth session, which was postponed by decisions 74/543 and 75/570 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, was convened from 7 to 18 March 2022. A fifth session of the Conference was convened from 15 to 26 August 2022 pursuant to General Assembly decision 76/564 (available as A/76/L.46). On the last day of that session, the Conference, in considering the way forward, decided to suspend the fifth session and resume it at a later date to be determined. Recalling the relevant provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law
of the Sea, including the obligation to protect and preserve the marine environment,
Stressing the need to respect the balance of rights, obligations and interests set

biodiversity loss and degradation of ecosystems of the ocean, due to, in particular,
climate change, pollution and unsustainable use,
Stressing the need for the comprehensive global regime to better address the
conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond
national jurisdiction,
Recognizing the importance of contributing to the realization of a just and
equitable international economic order which takes into account the interests and
needs of mankind as a whole and, in particular, the special interests and needs of
developing States,
Recognizing also that support for developing States Parties through capacitybuilding and the development and transfer of marine technology are essential
elements for the attainment of the objectives of the conservation and sustainable use
of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction,
Recalling the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples;
Affirming that nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as diminishing or
extinguishing the existing rights of Indigenous Peoples or the interests of local
communities,
[Recognizing the obligation to assess the potential effects on the marine
environment of activities that may cause substantial pollution of or significant and
harmful changes to the marine environment regardless of whether these activities are
conducted in or beyond the areas where sovereign rights are exercised in accordance
with the Convention,]
[Mindful of the obligation to ensure that pollution arising from incidents or
activities does not spread beyond the areas where sovereign rights are exercised in
accordance with the Convention,]
Desiring to act as stewards of the ocean in areas beyond national jurisdiction on
behalf of present and future generations by protecting, caring for and ensuring
responsible use of the marine environment, maintaining the integrity of ocean
ecosystems and preserving the inherent value of biodiversity of areas beyond national
jurisdiction,
Respecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of all
States,
[Recalling, with respect to non-parties to the Convention, that Part III,
Section 4, of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties sets out the rules on
treaties and third States,]

Article 2
General objective
“The objective of this Agreement is to ensure the conservation and sustainable
use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction, for the
present and in the long term, through effective implementation of the relevant
provisions of the Convention and further international cooperation and coordination.”
Article 3
Application
“This Agreement applies to areas beyond national jurisdiction.”
Article 3 bis
Sovereign immunity
“This Agreement does not apply to any warship, military aircraft or naval
auxiliary. Except for Part II, this Agreement does not apply to other vessels or aircraft
owned or operated by a Party and used, for the time being, only on government non –
commercial service. However, each Party shall ensure, by the adoption of appropriate
measures not impairing the operations or operational capabilities of such vessels or
aircraft owned or operated by it, that such vessels or aircraft act in a manner
consistent, so far as is reasonable and practicable, with this Agreement.”

EQUITY AND JUSTICE DRIVEN

Article 5
General principles and approaches
In order to achieve the objective of this Agreement, Parties shall be guided by
the following:
(a) The polluter-pays principle;
[(b) The principle of the common heritage of mankind;]
(c) Option 1: The principle of equity;
Option 2: The fair and equitable sharing of benefits;
[(d) The application of precaution;]
(e) An ecosystem approach;
(f) An integrated approach;
(g) An approach that builds ecosystem resilience to the adverse effects of
climate change and ocean acidification and restores ecosystem integrity;
(h) The use of the best available science and scientific information;
(i) The use of relevant traditional knowledge of Indigenous Peoples and local
communities, where available;
(j) The respect, promotion and consideration of their respective obligations
relating to the rights of Indigenous Peoples and local communities when taking action
to address the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas
beyond national jurisdiction;

NEVER MIND THE GLOBALIST AGENDA-FULL SPEED AHEAD

HOW IS THE CHURCH -WHICH IS CALLED OUT -CALLED TO “REDEEM BABEL” ?

God called Abram OUT of the idolatrous Babylonian world around him and Israel OUT of Egypt to “serve Him ” apart from the corruption and idols around them. God used men like Joseph and Daniel to preserve His people in the midst of worldly systems BUT NOT to redeem those fallen systems. The Gospel call has not changed. Jesus called the disciples out -to FOLLOW HIM . As the judgements of the final day on the corrupt systems of Babel unfold in Revelation 18 -God again pauses and calls His people OUT.

Before reading further keep in mind that the very meaning of the word Ekklesia as the church is a calling OUT in order to be separated to God . God’s people are His peculiar possession loyal only to Him in a world that remains under the sway of the wicked one and in the ongoing rebellion of Genesis 11. The disunity the World experiences is in large part because of its rebellion against and defiance of God. The Church does not reconcile the world to God by joining in alliance with, adopting its values, seeking to appease its standards and norms and to “redeem” “it. The truly redeemed have been called OUT of this darkness and into the Kingdom of LIGHT- the kingdom of His dear SON. The Christians citizenship is in heaven and his/her place in this world is as salt and light and as a witness to the redemption of God for lost souls. God is not “Redeeming Babel ” nor is he calling His people to do so. Third Way political rhetoric and socialist ideologies, economics, and strategies would never be God’s way nor have they ever worked to preserve of redeem any culture of society. To think so is to be deceived. To teach Christians thus is a grand deception.

TONY BLAIRS THIRD WAY POLITICS PAMPLET FROM THE FABIAN SOCIETY IN 1998 ALLOWS HIM IN HIS OWN WORDS TO EXTOL THE GOALS AND ORIGINS OF THIRD WAY POLITICS LIKE TRINITY FORUM AND “REDEEMING BABEL PROMOTE:

“The Third Way was published as a pamphlet by the Fabian Society. Blair owed much of his approach to the writings of Anthony Giddens, the sociologist and director of the London School of Economics, who published Beyond Left and Right in 1994 and then his The Third Way: The Renewal of Social Democracy in 1998. Giddens is now a member of the House of Lords. For his thinking on the ‘Big Society’, Blair drew on the work of the Scottish philosopher John Macmurray, author of Persons in Relation. Blair was not the inventor of the ‘third way’ concept, a term also used by the Austrian Marxist, Otto Bauer, for whom the ‘third way’ was between Stalinist communism and traditional social democracy (and Chartist). “What is negative partisanship? Negative partisanship is an affiliation with your partisan political tribe, not because you necessarily love it or the ideas that it espouses, but because you hate or fear the other side.”

“So it’s rooted in a deeply negative emotion. And this is an extraordinarily powerful influence right now in the United States of America. How powerful is it? If you go and look at some of the research done by a group called More in Common, which has looked at what is called the hidden tribes of American life, it looks at the people who are most animated by the strongest partisan motivations. They have incredibly, profoundly negative views of the other side. Very negative views: 89%, for example, of devoted conservatives who are disproportionately Christian viewed every Democrat as brainwashed. That’s just one statistic of many.”

OUR HOPE

“We need to reform the political mindset of Christians with timeless Biblical truths, and not cede this task to today’s secular and partisan media. There’s hope. It’s not too late. We can transform our political imaginations. God has called us to point to the Kingdom of Jesus which transcends the divisions of our day. Indeed, the future Kingdom – which Scripture depicts as a grand “wedding feast of the Lamb” (Rev. 19:6-9) – is the true hope that should unite Christians of all political stripes.”

THE BACKGROUND ON REDEEMING BABEL VAX PUSH IN 2021

Christians & the Vaccine was the leading national effort to persuade this community to consider receiving he COVID vaccine. We partnered with the National Association of Evangelicals, COVID Collaborative, the Ad Council, Values Partnerships and Public Square Strategies.

We produced videos to provide Biblically based answers to questions such as:

• Is the COVID vaccine safe (and how can we know)?
• Is vaccination a form of government control?
• Should pro-lifers be pro-vaccine?
• Is the vaccine the “mark of the beast?”

THE CONCLUSION

Trinity Forum is widely respected but well infiltrated organization given its history with the “Evangelical Immigration Table”/ The Obama Foundation’s Ambassador the America’s Believers Michael Wear and the long time contributions of defrocked former SBC ethicist Russell Moore.

Redeeming Babel must have missed that Babel is clearly condemned to fall and NOT BE REDEEMED in the Scripture and the organization seems to have fallen in with the “Good Faith”/ Common Ground / Civil Society narratives that have been falling flat for years on both sides of the political divide which they seem to think THEY can BRIDGE with the same failed technologies and ideologies.

The Fall of Babylon the Great

JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 16: ¹⁸ “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” BUT THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES FOR THAT WHICH BEARS THE NAME OF JESUS BUT WHICH HAS REMOVED ITSELF FROM HIS FOUNDATION.

It is difficult to watch what has happened to the church in America so far this century. It is most difficult as a Christian and as a minister and as anyone who carries a heart burden for the church, its members in particular and for the fulfilling of the TRUE mission of the church which is THE GREAT COMMISSION. People need the Lord -therefore they need to hear a pure-powerful and ATONEMENT based Gospel.They need a refuge -a place of worship- of fellowship- or discipling -…a House of Prayer for all .

But as Jesus chased out the money changers and rebuked those making His Fathers House a “house of merchandise ” and a His “House of Prayer” into a “Den of Thieves” so it is today. A house cleaning is in order.

A PARABLE OF THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST AT THE GATES OF HELL: WHAT FOUNDATION HAVE THEY BUILT UPON?

Jesus makes clear the GATES of HELL will not stand against His Church -BUT no promises have been made to those who depart from His foundation to build their own kingdoms. In the case of the current leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention -these people have elected to rebuild the TOWER of BABEL by following global cultural and political trends and call it the church.

The point in specific is SBC leadership and its Executive Committee have gotten on board with the #metoo / #churchtoo movement of anger driven feminist theology which hates the ATONEMENT- forgiveness and ALL the Gospel offers. These leaders have hired one of the nation’s largest corporate Diversity -Equity – Inclusion consultants and “abuse investigation ” firms named Guidepost Solutions -and gone gunning for abusers and those they deem “credibly accused” of abuse.

THE RIDE ALONG FOR THE DRIVE BY

LIKE THE CHAIN GANG ESCAPEES HITCHING A RIDE WITH BABY FACE NELSON FRESH OFF A BANK JOB AND BEING PURSUED BY THE LAW-SBC LEADERS IN 2018 HITCHED A RIDE WITH THE #CHURCHTOO MOVEMENT. ( From O’Brother Where Art Thou” the 2000 Coen Brothers film)

PLOT

“Three convicts, Ulysses Everett McGill, Delmar O’Donnell and Pete escape from a CHAIN GANG and set out to retrieve a treasure buried by Everett before the area is flooded to make a lake. The three fail to get on a train before getting a lift from a blind man driving a handcar He tells them they will find a fortune, but not the one they seek.”

It is the Depression Era – much like the state of the SBC and church at present. Everett is our unnamed visionary leader(s) in the SBC who has /have long sold his/ their vision casting to the highest bidder. Delmar and Pete are the foolish fellow escapees who simple mindedly go along for the adventure not thinking through the outcomes of this “search for treasure” or what is about to be lost. While on lam from the law ( their accountability to God ) and walking along a dike ( keep in mind the coming flood -like divine judgement and the loss of any hope for finding the true treasure. ) they see a fast approaching vehicle. Time is of the essence so they hitch a ride. The vehicle is the “get away car” of famed bank robber Baby Face Nelson. This fast and recklessly driven car is the #churchtoo movement .The driver is Feminist theology on its own mission to take aim at … well the very boys who just got onboard and their visions of treasure. Worse yet the driver HATES the core of Baptist theology of ATONEMENT and FORGIVENESS around which its past ,present and future hopes rest. These Baptist leaders have become like wandering vagabonds who have long forgotten their foundations and the calling they profess to possess.

MONEY MONEY MONEY

As the car speeds along with its new passengers – the ill gotten proceeds of past raids have “come unstowed ” and MONEY IS FLYING EVERYWHERE. Suddenly the good ole boys from the chain gang realize they are in a ride along with a criminal who has his own treasuring seeking agenda and in a shootout with the law. They also a flood is coming- as they too are being pursued by justice for their own crimes. Meanwhile the high speed at which this vehicle is moving poses many dangers in itself as Mr Nelson goes about the business of taking aim at his targets….leaving his passengers to figure out that they are not in control and finally begin questioning what they have just gotten THEMSELVES into.

THE SBCs FAILURE

The SBC has been in the firm grips of feminist theology promoting the #ChurchToo movement against its members, pastors and churches since 2018. The media and SBC insiders have helped move the SBC into the hands of Guidepost Solutions -an abuse “investigative firm” and DE&I compliance consultant. Joining the effort is a group of survivors – some very real and very sad and sadly used by a larger agenda. Also there are some perhaps who are not victims BUT time will reveal that. The survivors, though featured up front, are not the focus of feminist theology and its taking aim at the church in America.The survivors are part of the victim coalition building & merely the excuse used by the sirens in this sad retelling of a classic tale. The extended cruise is even more perilous than the ride along.

JEZEBEL IS ON THE MOVE AND KILLS PROPHETS : OR DID THEY FORGET ?

While charmed by the sirens song and promised treasure SBC leaders in the Executive Committee have given up their ATTORNEY /CLIENT PRIVILEGE- Lost the law firm which had represented them for over 2 generations /some 68 or so years. Now filling that void there are some 7 or 8 other law firms and a PR firm representing Guidepost who ALL subscribe to DE&I values internally and promote compliance to these metrics in their clients.

All this and more came to bear on the SBC this past week when the SBC Executive Committee met with its full trustee board to report on the state of the SBC , do regular business and to make ready for the coming June Convention

THE APPEARANCE OF A COURSE CORRECTION

On the one hand the EC disfellowshipped the Saddleback Church (one of two churches disfellowshipped ) founded by famed Baptist /Drucker Disciple Rick Warren. Warren had been pushing boundaries for several years by ordaining women as pastors and appointed a successor who are his and her “pastors”. So the headlines looked like the SBC EC are holding the line on the Baptist Faith and Message on the Role of Women in the Church . Good right?

Not so fast because in the same meetings the EC signed up for YET ANOTHER ride along with the Feminist Theologians driving the #churchtoo movement. The EC has agreed for the feminist theology driven machine to compile and operate a DATA BASE of Baptist they AGAIN ” deem credibly accused” of sexual abuse. Continue to keep in mind the Feminist theological systems HATE biblical ATONEMENT -demand justice and retribution and pounds upon pounds of flesh from abusers. It loathes orthodox biblical male /female roles in the church and the home – despises the nuclear family calling it an IDOL and it operates out of critical theories like gender theory- feminist theory and queer theory birthed from Cultural Marxist verbal revolutionaries. Feminism and its theology always carries racial and sexual minorities in its big tent and does not end with a single Gospel driven REDEMPTIVE outcome. Why ? Meanwhile a report on a financial audit ordered last year for 2021 REVEALED something the Executive Committee tried to shuffle past even while reporting to their own trustees.

NOTE THE NUMBERS :

The SBC Executive Committee 2021 Financial Audit Report revealed that the SBC EC is on an “Unsustainable”path financially- that “changes will have to be made” that “EVERYTHING is on the table”. After several relentless trustee inquiries EC spokespersons revealed that they have lost HALF of their assets from $12 million down to $6 million in 2021 alone. Nothing has yet been revealed about 2022 numbers . There was plenty of grandstanding about other giving while never any mention of outside sources of income. Long and short of it -the Executive Committee had to admit THEY ARE GOING BANKRUPT .

Though these problems stem from their ride along with the #churchtoo fast and reckless movement- the SBC EC has decided to go for another ride and let these forces run their database for sex abusers thus allowing them reach into all Baptist life and entities AND into the local church. The very feminist theology driven forces which hate the very core of Baptist life and theology and are taking aim at the heart of the church in America are NOW the “Gatekeepers” and accountability partners” for Southern Baptist. Insane ? Yes absolutely.

Ignorance is to blame with some who are along for the ride But for others behind the efforts to attach the future of the Church to this movement there a is a clear willingness to sell out of the household of faith . They are also saying yes at the highest COST possible – the loss of the Gospel hope in the Atonement. It is the one true treasure they actually have to offer fallen humanity INCLUDING VICTIMS OF ABUSE. They have exchanged the glory of God for that which does not profit and their own birthrights for a bowl of stew.

THIS TIME THE GATES OF HELL WILL WIN -WHY ?

The institutional church plae in American culture is likely done. Short of a massive move of the Holy Spirit to bring about deep repentance and judgement starting at the house of God bringing in a massive house cleaning – the SBC is DONE. And it has been done in at its own leaders hands.

As the Serpent beguiled Eve and then she gave to her husband and brought about the Fall of Mankind -so once again the enemy has persuaded them that they can reject the commandment of God and their identity as His image bearers and strike out on their own becoming “like God”. The best weapons the serpent has ever had is to slither in between these GOD ordained partners given full fellowship with God and suggest “Hath God said…?” Once men and women of God move out of God’s light and seek their own truth – they are done building their lives on God’s foundation and promises. Paul, when instructing about the roles of men and women in Ephesians, pointed out that he was speaking “a great mystery” which is that their roles serve as types of the relationship between Christ and the Church. That fail is a massive loss to couples and to the church.The same is true of the SBC and other Christian movements. Jesus has made no obligation to preserve that which is built on other foundations. In fact he has promised to uproot and shake it until it falls. HELL HAS ENLARGED ITS BORDERS .

Hebrews 12:

Hear the Heavenly Voice

²⁵ See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, ²⁶ whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” ²⁷ Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Matthew 15:

O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU GOING FROM HERE ?

After the FALL- the complicit and willingly ignorant SBC leaders who are still standing likely hope to find new jobs in the “Pappy O’Daniel Brain Trust” given their history of faith based partnerships. That may happen in the short term but the long term outcomes will not be so comfortable given their accountability to the one who called them to serve His house.

THE BAPTIST TALE OF WRONG FOUNDATIONS /DECONSTRUCTING THEIR OWN HOUSE .

The SBC movement is a convention of autonomous churches in cooperation called the Southern Baptist Convention. At one time there were over 16 million people and over 47,000 churches in the SBC. Today actual Sunday morning services of regular attenders, according to Baptist research organization Lifeway Research, is about 3.6 million (down from @5 million less than a decade ago.) So the SBC is in STEEP decline from what are largely self inflicted wounds.

MASSIVE INFLUENCE FROM SOCIALIST IDEOLOGIES / ORGANIZATIONS- COACHING AND “TRAINING NEXT GENERATION PASTORS FOR THE NEW PARADIGM CHURCHES”, LEADERSHIP NETWORK SELLING THE SNAKE OIL OF PETER DRUCKER BEING THE WORST.

THE AGE OLD MOVEMENT KILLER OF “THE SOCIAL GOSPEL”. TODAY IT IS CALLED “SOCIAL JUSTICE” AND DIVERSITY, EQUITY ,INCLUSION & BELONGING.

FAITH BASED PARTNERSHIPS WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE SECTOR ENTITIES TURN THE SBC AND THE CHURCH INTO A COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZERS AND VOLUNTEER BASES DELIVERING JUSTICE DRIVEN SOCIAL SERVICES/ WELFARE/ HEALTHCARE /HOUSING / DISASTER RELIEF/ REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT / FIGHTING CLIMATE CHANGE AND AN ENDLESS STRING OF CALLS TO DUTY IN REDISTRIBUTION AND ADDRESSING INEQUITIES. ( Note it is this false foundation which has the SBC and many churches compelled to comply with DE&I. PLUS the churches and ministries took some $7.3 billion in the the first round of Covid Pandemic bailouts so it is time to pay up and time to comply.

SEMINARY HEADS BEGAN IN 2009 TO TAKE DARK MONEY DRIVING FAITH DRIVEN WORKPLACE INDOCTRINATION FROM YALE CENTER FOR FAITH AND WORKS AND OTHER SOCIALIST /JUSTICE /EQUITY SOAKED “HUMAN FLOURISHING” AND “COMMON GROUND FOR THE COMMON GOOD” / “THRIVING ” GOALS.

GET THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM?

Can you see where along this path the foundations shifted and the Gospel has been lost? The SBC has no promise of survival since it has not allow the Lord to build it and the leadership have been building their own Tower of Babel across the cracked foundations listed above. Now ownership of and vision casting has been handed over to another who cares not for the Biblical foundations required for biblical faithfulness and future survival.

CONCLUSION

HOPE – CAN THEY KEEP HOPE ALIVE ?

When the ship is sinking the only hope is to abandon ship and swim for a lifeboat or floating debris. In the case of the current frigid culture “survivors” have virtually no chance of lasting for long unless they find refuge. Of course it is customary for captains to go down with the ship after doing all they can to save passengers.But it is not likely such nobel actions will be observed by current leadership. So if you are headed for a lifeboat- make way -the SBC leaders who ran the Ship into the rocky shores of #churchtoo likely will plan to be the first to abandon ship.

But Jesus will have a day of reckoning awaiting them…if not now- someday soon.

The entire tale of error and loss reminds one of the ill fated journey of those taking Paul to Rome for trial after he had appealed his case to Caesar. Warnings unheeded- shipwreck is certain .

ACTS 27

Paul’s Warning Ignored

⁹ Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, ¹⁰ saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.” ¹¹ Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. ¹² And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.

In the Tempest

¹³ When the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their desire, putting out to sea, they sailed close by Crete. ¹⁴ But not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called Euroclydon. ¹⁵ So when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her drive. ¹⁶ And running under the shelter of an island called Clauda, we secured the skiff with difficulty. ¹⁷ When they had taken it on board, they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven. ¹⁸ And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. ¹⁹ On the third day we threw the ship’s tackle overboard with our own hands. ²⁰ Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.

²¹ But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. ²² And now I urge you to take ^[f]heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. ²³ For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, ²⁴ saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ ²⁵ Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. ²⁶ However, we must run aground on a certain island.”
